Abby giggeled."right:,she said calmly. Then looked up seeing Shiki and Eliot return with food.

Shiki smiled to him."thanks1" he said going over to Abby and gave her food seeming very cheery.
Abby blinked."....be honest, did you poison the food?",she asked cashously. |
Xing stopped. "What?!" He yelped, his voice pitching upward.

"About what?" Xing asked suspicously.
"Shiki finally got up the guts to ask me on a date." Elliot said, putting her tray down. |
Abby grinned."wait to go Shiki",she said smileing and giving him a thumbs up.

"How much teasing did it take?" Xing asked through a mouthful of pizza bun.

Xing blinked innocently. "I have no idea what you're talking about...." He said, still smiling.
"Hey, at least it's 50-50 you guess right." Elliot said. |
Abby smiled some watching them,then blinked looking to the window.

"Something wrong? Or you trying to get out of blame?" Elliot asked with a laugh.

Abby looked to her.'please don't say you cant sence that,she said softly.

"Can't sense--" Elliot broke off in the middle of her sentance as she felt the immense pressure. Looking to Xing, she saw that his eyes had gone glassy.
"It can't be him...." The boy said softly. "It can't...." |
Shiki also senced it and looked to Xing."who",he asked.

Xing gulped, his eyes still glassy and unfocused, as if he were looking into his memories. "My dad," he said hoarsly.

Abby blinked looking back to the window fircely.
Shiki looked to Xing worriedly."it'll be alright..." |
"N-no, it won't." Xing said, looking up. His eyes were desperate, fearful; not full of the good humor they normally were. His face had also lost its almost-constant smile. "I didn't know he'd find out where I was so soon after my fight with Shinling......"

Elliot put her hand to the boy's shoulder. "She's right; if he tries anything, we'll look out for you." She said.
"And get killed!" Xing said, beginning to border on hysterics. He took a deep breath to calm himself. "You never met this guy...he's a psychopath, a nutjob--he loves to kill people just for kicks!" He shook his head and buried his face in his hands. "Just...let me handle him by myself...I don't want to see you guys die...." |
