Does anyone kist to Metallica? Chat about them here!

Save for a few good songs (Master of Puppets, Fuel, For Whom the Bell Tolls), I don't care for them.

You mean that band David Mustaine was kicked out of for being too awesome?

Joking aside, they were great at the beginning. But after that things tended to be a bit repetitive and I lost care for them. And then there was their Load/Reload period... WTF. Then there was Death Magnetic/today onward, which honestly wasn't bad and a great return to form.... but honestly carried a few too many traits of be bad parts of their most popular work, rewritten and repackaged forms of the same thing.

They sort of run like Iron Maiden in a way (except they actually did a bit of experimentation but I digress), a one trick pony but a skilled one so no one really gives a gripe. But if you don't like the one trick forever, you're not going to like the band.

I liked their old stuff with Cliff Burton, but by Loaded they started to suck. Then there was that whole controversy with Napster, and Lars came off as such an idiot. Ever since then they could make the best song in the universe, I'm no longer interested.
