Claus blushed, biting his lip as he looked down in thought. That was true, he supposed. It'd be rather awkward if they went back now...but...slowly, his was nervous expression turned into a more softer version, a timid smile appearing on his lips...

"I'd rather just stay here...for a while..."

harakun 06-04-2011 12:59 PM

Matthias stopped the moment he'd heard what Sage had to say about him and the folders. Grunting and feeling his cheeks burn, he gave Sage a little glare and uttered a short, "Johnny's look of surprise. I want to see it," almost too childishly. Raising the folders a little as he opened the door, he grinned at Matthias. "Thanks again!" With that said, he finally stepped out and walked down the hallway to head to the elevator. He hoped he could catch Johnny in the lobby. If not, then he'd just have to leave the folders on the front desk.

It'd be nice, though, if I could see his reaction... As he thought this thought, he tapped his foot lightly on the carpeted floor and waited for that familiar ding to signal to him that the elevator had arrived. When it had arrived, he stepped in once the doors were wide enough for him while automatically pressing the button for the ground floor.

The first thing Matthias did when he was in the lobby was look for Johnny and when he had spotted him, he approached him with a bright grin on his face. Johnny, who had seen him, had straightened up and raised his eyebrows a little at Matthias holding those folders. Surprise could be seen on his face when he'd seen what was the contents of the folders. He'll be damned. "You... finished them?" he asked as he warily looked at Matthias, "You had help, didn't you?" It was impossible for Matthias to finish it in just a week's time. He'd usually take a month or two to finish everything. "Nope!" was Matthias' first and chirpy reply before he'd paused and pursed his lips at Johnny continuing to look warily at him.

It took a minute or two later for Matthias to sigh and make a face as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Sage Faolan. He helped me." "I thought as much." Johnny said, pleased that he had gotten the truth out from Matthias. "And, the food haven't arrived yet. At least... I don't think it has or I would've had gotten a-"

When the phone in the front desk rang, Johnny went to answer it and he looked pleasantly surprised. "All right. Yes. All right. Thank you." With that, he told his boss what had been relayed to him. The food was on the way.

Remaro 06-04-2011 01:14 PM

Looking surprised at the glare, he smiled sweetly at Matthias, looking as innocent as possible whilst the other responded to his comment. As Matthias grinned to him though, he smiled brightly, waving back to him. “Have fun!” He called back before turning to turn off the switch as he’d been warned. After all, despite saying he was good in heat, Sage didn’t like the idea of being cooked to a crisp. He doubted the look would suit him.

Stepping into the room, he approached Roy, peering at the creature in curiosity. Keeping his distance, he smiled softly to the animal, crouching down so his head was at the same level as Roy’s. “Hey there...Did you know you’ve got a strange owner? He’s funny, but very strange” He smiled warmly to the Iguana. "I'm Sage by the way"

harakun 06-04-2011 01:33 PM

Roy didn't seem to understand what Sage was saying. It only moved closer to Sage and stuck its front feet onto the aquarium wall. The iguana then moved back to climb onto its branch and bask in the cool room. Its eyes were closed and it opened again as it stared at Sage. At least, it looked that way. Its tail curled around him and he shut his eyes again.

[[ Such a boring animal. > > ]]

Remaro 06-04-2011 01:41 PM

Smiling brightly, he gently rested his hands on the glass, opposite the feet of the iguana as it moved up towards him. When Roy moved back to his branch, he grinned brightly, carefully leaning in to run a light finger over the creature’s spine, moving carefully and slowly so as not to alarm him. “You’re really cute!” He smiled sweetly.

((Doesn’t matter XD Sage has fallen in love all over again  ))

harakun 06-04-2011 02:16 PM

[[ Lol. Shall reply again later. Gotta head to bed. 8D Woot! ]]

Roy only opened its eyes when it felt something running over his spine. Somehow, it felt weird to feel a light finger and not a heavy one. Matthias never was gentle with him like Sage was. Its tail uncoiled and the lizard shut its eyes again as it enjoyed that touch. He would've had moved away if it weren't for the non-threatening touch. The iguana just sat there, basking in all its glory. If only the man would let him out of his tank, he'd be able to move freely and around. Maybe try to find a snack or two.

Remaro 06-04-2011 02:29 PM

((Loool Nighty night!))

Chuckling quietly, Sage continued to stroke the other’s back gently before he moved around, carefully shutting the door and making sure the windows were locked. That way, if he let Roy out, the iguana wouldn’t escape the room at least. Returning to the tank, he carefully reached with both hands, very gently lifting the lizard out before setting him down on the floor, moving to sit beside him, resuming the stroking of the other’s spine.

Sho-Shonojo 06-04-2011 02:49 PM

"Nonsense" Sho said in reply to Alice, "I've offered you my help and I intend to see it through." He checked his pockets and was satisfied to know that his key was in his pants pocket. "Now, which room is yours? I promise I will only be a minute or so."

He felt bad sending Rio up with Alice when Alice seemed so opposed to it, but Rio seemed like a nice fellow and probably wanted to see Alice well again just as much as Sho did. He gave Alice what he intended to be a reassuring smile.

"Rio, once I've got the medicine to Alice I can meet you down here and we can get the food into the lobby."

Cyberblue Lightning 06-04-2011 02:52 PM

Putting his black Rav4 into parking and killing the engine, Van Long Huynh, got out of his car to open the door for his son, Tai Yen Huynh, who had his arms full with his stuffed elephant and a baggie that has his pet goldfish Sir Captain Scales of the Pacific and his backpack of stuff on his back. Tai who could be considered a miniature clone of his father, unbuckled his seatbelt before carefully getting out of the car to make sure to not drop Sir Captain Scales of the Pacific. Beaming a toothy grin, Tai waited patiently while Van grabbed his own luggage case and Thomas’ carrier to the apartment complex. After what has been going on for the past few weeks, Van simply cannot wait to take a nice long bath.

Oh! OH! I wanna press da button!” Tai was glad that his older sister isn’t here anymore to tease him by pressing it first, as he ran as fast as he could with what he had in his arms and pressed the up button with his nose, squealing at the funny action he did.

Shaking his head at his son’s unlimited energy, Van did his best to pick up the pace when the elevator had opened and his son had cheekily waved at him as the doors began to close. Managing to get inside, but only by the hair, Thomas was hissing angrily, miffed at the rough treatment. Van eyed his suddenly innocent son. Sighing in exasperation Van breathed, “Please Tai, no mischief today. Daddy’s too tired.” And he got a pout in response but his son seemed to understand.

And so the elevator ride went.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Stopping at a level Van had no idea where he was since Tai, being the mischief maker he was, had pressed a random floor which Van didn’t know if. Hopefully it was the lobby since he needed to grab the keys to their room and possibly do more paper to finalise his permanent stay here. Hopefully though, his collegue and friend from work had done that already and if not, Van was ready to do so.

The room the father and son were in was busy with chatter, numerous of people flitting about doing whatever they were doing and various others deeply engaged in the other’s conversation. Funnily enough there were hardly any females about in the room which was fine since right now they were the last thing on his mind to see. Trying to look for someone official looking, which was hard with the splitting headache he was having. Trying to massage his temples, Van did not notice that Tai had once again gone off, heading towards a very tall man who seemed have not noticed him yet since he was talking with other people. Having a brilliant idea, Tai decided to play with the man's jacket and shoes tying them into knots, smiling widely and evilly.

At this time, Van had realised amongst the noise that his son was rather quiet. Opening his eyes, Van saw that Tai had gone off and was pulling his old trick when he was younger. Shaking the proud feeling away Van called out to his son "TAI!" Grabbing his luggage handle bar, Van proceeded to carry it as well as making sure not to annoy Thomas any further, walking briskly toward his mini.

[[OOC: Finally first post done. Sorry if this is a massive wall of text, I had no idea what I should be do for the first post here so here is the insanity which is my first post. BTW, Tall man that Tai is talking to (although everyone is a tall man in Tai's world) can be anyone who is free and in the lobby.

Alice gave in, sighing and slipping out of the vehicle with a slight pout on his face. Arguing was getting him no where and he didn't have the energy for it anyway. He was frowning, almost scowling a bit and he pulled Sho's coat tighter about his body, almost reflexively instead of having anything to do with being cold. "...Tenth floor..room thirty-four.." He muttered the words, sounding just a little defeated.

You weren't supposed to take candy or medicine from strange men. Alice shook his head slightly, he wasn't a child, and they hadn't done anything mean to him so far. Still, he was finding it a bit hard to fully trust these too. Sho's reassuring smile didn't do alot to reassure him, but Alice did relax the slightest bit. Alice coughed a few times before he started to move away from the vehicle, to go inside.

The Stories Whispered 06-05-2011 12:43 AM

Eroke tilted his head with a smirk, looking down at Claus softly..."To do..?"

Another Mad Bloke 06-05-2011 12:47 AM

It was Claus's turn to think again. And he thought, long and hard while resting in Eroke's arms. After a while, he finally mumbled out "I'm not really sure..." He laughed a little, smiling a bit, too. Course he was clueless again when returned to his normal state of personality.

harakun 06-05-2011 01:13 AM

Roy, apparently, over-abused the word freedom when he felt the carpeted floor beneath him. Though the stroking felt good, the lizard schemingly slid away and quickly moved to the corner of the room to feel all four sides. From a human's point of view, it was an odd move for a lizard but that, apparently, was the first thing Roy did when he was on the floor. The next? It was to search for anything lying around that can pass on as snack. There was even a time that Matthias had to literally pull a rather big and thick ring out from his throat because it was stuck.

The lizard stopped when its tongue quickly flicked out and got the hem of Sage's shirt.

- - -

Rio nodded at that and went off to join Alice. Pressing the tenth floor button for the man, he raised his eyebrow a little and tilted his head. "Ya sure ya don' wan' me ta carry ya?" he asked before he'd looked up at the light moving from one floor to the next. Honestly, he could never get used to how fancy Matthias had made the complex to be. It could even pass off as a hotel with all the amenities it had. Though he'd been offered a place before, he had turned it down.

Maybe, just maybe, he could open up a spot here in the complex. He could do with the less flood and probably even go as far as to borrowing Matthias' truck if the flood's too high.

- - -

Johnny's vest could probably pass off as a jacket and his shoes were, sadly, the ones with the laces. Because he was talking to Matthias, he hadn't noticed the little boy's antics and hadn't bothered to look past Matthias until he'd heard someone call out a name. It had him stepping back but the tied laces caught him off-balance and his eyes widened. He'd even caught Matthias' eyes widening in surprise while Johnny fell down on his bum.

It didn't take long for Matthias to burst out laughing until he'd seen who'd done it. Was that a kid? "Oh man, nice one kid," Matthias commented as he raised his hand a bit for a high five from the mini guy. Apparently, he hadn't noticed the kid's father was around as well until Johnny had pointed him out after he'd fixed his laces and his vest. That was surely quite an uncharming first impression.

"Good afternoon, sir," Johnny started as he looked down at the little boy, "And little boy." There was no hint of distaste or annoyance in his voice. In fact, the man looked like nothing had just happened. "How may I help you?" Matthias was quick to step aside as he set the folders on the front desk and slid his hands into his pockets. With matters like these, he left it to Johnny when he was around. That, and he was still snickering at what had just happened.

The Stories Whispered 06-05-2011 02:52 AM

Eroke smiled evilly and nibbled Claus's neck again,smiling..."So cute.."

Sho-Shonojo 06-05-2011 03:28 AM

Sho took the second elevator up to his own room. He had to check the key to remember which room number was his, but once he had remembered he got to his door and into the room. His bag was still sitting by the door where Johnny had left it. Fishing through the smaller pockets, he managed to find a box of gel capsules for fever. "Perfect," he said aloud to himself. Then, digging through the rest of the pockets he located his thermometer. He was about to go when he thought better and fished out some disinfecting wipes from the bag as well. That would probably make Alice a little more comfortable about getting his temperature taken, if he didn't put up a fight about it.

(I'll give you guys some time to get up there)

Kry 06-05-2011 03:47 AM

"My legs aren't broken.." Alice muttered softly to Rio, edgeing away from the big man a little. Silently cursing being on the tenth floor. Elevator rides with strangers were less than fun. Especially when the stranger seemed to enjoy picking him up. Alice sneezed. Shivering a little even though it was rather comfortable in the elevator, as it would be in the rest of the apartment building.

When the thing finally stopped, Alice let out a low breath. Glad it hadn't stopped on any of the floors before his as well. He shoved a hand in his pocket, fingering the key to his door as he slipped past Rio and eagerly out the elevator. Alice wasted no time in going towards his room. Pausing once or twice to cough a little as he went. When he reached his door, he opened it quickly, leaving it open for Rio to enter behind him. As earlier, his apartment's living space was cluttered up with art supplies, finished landscapes, and half finished works. He shimmied out of Sho's coat and let it fall to the floor, "...dry clothes.." He mummbled and glanced at Rio just before he slipped into his bedroom and closed the door.

SecretIenzo1 06-05-2011 04:01 AM

Max let out a comforting noise. "Don't really like girls." Beyond answered before standing up. Maxamillion in turn got up too. "Well, I better be going." Beyond sighed and Maxamillion started to lead him to the elevator. Somehow a cat had gotten into the complex however and Max jerked at the leash to chase it. "Woah!" Beyond let out surprised as the leash was jerked from his hand and he was pulled down. He hit the ground letting out a loud "ow!" Max didn't normally chase cats but it happened sometimes.

Another Mad Bloke 06-05-2011 04:01 AM

"N-nyaa..." Claus breathed, blushing crimson yet again. Ah, this feeling...it was past nervous anticipation and into, well, clueless Claus hadn't the slightest idea. "G-gentle..." he managed, gazing up at him with wide eyes...

The Stories Whispered 06-05-2011 05:05 AM

(*Plays Final Fantasy victory theme* Congratulations, Eroke just earned the ability, "Get into Claus's pants!" Earned 6 EXP~)

Eroke smiled kindly and rubbed the smaller man's cheek..."I will be..."

Remaro 06-05-2011 07:34 AM

When the lizard started to move away from him, he chuckled, resting his elbows on his knees, chin leaning against his palms, as he watched Roy hurrying across the floor. He had an amused expression as the lizard moved to the corner of the room before making his way around the room, seeming to search for something. After a few seconds, he blinked in surprise at the tugging of his shirt before chuckling and gently stroking the other’s spine once more. “Not food Roy” He warned, trying to tug his shirt away.

Cyberblue Lightning 06-05-2011 09:39 AM

Tai high-fived the man that offered one, beaming brightly that he like what he did. Although right now looking to see his daddy looked at him pointedly, his daddy was pretty angry at what he did. Picking up Sir Captain Scales of the Pacific and hugging his stuffed elephant closer to him, Tai made sure the floppy ears were were obscuring half his face as he pulled his lifesaver. His big teary doe eyes. They always worked with his mum and almost always did with his daddy. Tai hoped that this time was the always.

When Van got to where Tai was, Van saw his son pull THE face. Freeing his hand to satisfy the urge to face-palm himself, Van blinded himself temporarily to avoid the pull of the Doe eyes. He mumbled quickly to Tai. "I'll deal with you later." In which Tai pouted sadly. Tai was not squirming his way out of this one it seemed. Pinching the bridge of his nose, to try calm the another wave of an incoming headache, Van took a second to calm himself before talking to the distinguished looking and quite tall male, who was currently talking to them after straightning himself out.

Breathing out a sigh of exasperation Van started talking. "I apologise for my son's mischievous behaviour. He's been like this for quite awhile after the move." Bowing a bit to show the sincerity of his apology, Van continued, feeling Tai edge over to peek behind his leg, looking up at the seemingly unaffected tall man, "I'm looking to see if I need to finalise any details of my stay here. And also I need to get the keys for the room, I'm suppose to be staying in?"

harakun 06-05-2011 09:58 AM

"Ah," was Johnny's first word before he'd nodded and gave the owner of the complex a pointed look. Matthias pursed his lips again before he'd stepped in Johnny's shoes while the man went behind the front desk to get what looked like the man's keys and the contract. Johnny was double-checking if the contracts had been signed and made sure the information was the same in the form. It'd be the complex' fault if something went wrong and he'd rather prevent such things from happening.

It's double the trouble and having to have Matthias have a business meeting with the stockholders would only make him twice as exhausted as he is already with just the paperworks.

"It's all right," Matthias replied with a smile as he turned to look down at Tai. The kid was cute and he idly wondered if the boy would want to play with his niece and nephew should they come to visit. "No damage was done and kids will be kids." Looking over to Johnny when they'd approached them with the key card and the copy of what looked like the papers for the place, Johnny handed the papers to Matthias who, in turn, uttered a short "Thanks" and gave him a nod.

"Here are a copy of your documents," he said as he handed them to Van, "Mister... Huynh?" Matthias' tongue curled at the letters. How come people often had hard family names to pronounce? "And, Johnny Romero here is my secretary. The staff won't be reporting until tomorrow, sadly, so he will be here to attend to anything you'll need. He shall be showing you to your room. Oh, if you will, too, there's a party later on at nine in the evening. I hope you two can attend." Matthias gave the little kid a bright grin.

"There'll be lots of big fireworks!" Johnny, while Matthias was attending to the two, turned to see what all the fuss was about. It seemed like Max had become wild because of the cat and he left for a moment to help Beyond to his feet. "Are you all right?" he asked as he raised his eyebrows just a bit.

- - -

Apparently, Roy didn't understand what Sage was saying. He just continued to stubbornly tug at the man's shirt, thinking it was food and chewing mindlessly with his teeth-less mouth. The stroke to his spine made his eyes slide shut and he opened it again to move a little closer so he could eat more of the said shirt.

- - -

Rio didn't enjoy picking Alice up. He just thought he had to back then. Wading through the flood wasn't exactly healthy when one was already getting sickly. Following after the man, he stayed by the door and made sure he was inside before he'd moved to knock on the bedroom door. "'ey, I'mma head out. Thos' boxes ain't gonna move on their own. Ya wait for Sho here, ya hear? An', ge' som' sleep."

With that said, the man left and shut the door behind him so he could go and start bringing up the boxes from the parking area. But he had to wait for the elevator first off.

Cyberblue Lightning 06-05-2011 11:22 AM

Ignoring the slight mispronunciation of his surname, Van smiled using his free hand to take the copy of the necessary documents and the key card. "Thank you, sir. And please call me Van, I know my surname can be quite the pain to pronounce." Pocketing the key card, Van looked at the documents just to make sure that they were his, nodding that everything was in order. When Van heard about party however, he knew it was going to be trouble if Tai got out of his sight again. And Van knew that Tai was good at that, being the opportunistic little rascal he is.

Tai however had other ideas. Upon hearing the words 'party' and 'fireworks', Tai knew he wanted in. "Oh oh! Will there be cake and ice cream?!" Tai's eyes were practically sparkling at the thought. Tai's sweet tooth was tingling, which resulted in him drooling almost.

"Tai, you had some dinner and dessert before we arrived here." Van chided, but was smiling nonetheless, finding his son's excitement cute. And he knew the incoming response. 'I'll bet he's going to say, I have a fourth stomach for ice cream and cake.' Van thought waiting for Tai's response.

"I have a fourth stomach for ice cream and cake! Squishy here does too!" Tai beamed automatically beaming a toothy grin, hugging 'Squishy' his elephant tighter towards himself.

Shaking his head from amusement, Van continued, "I think we'll be able to make it. It's kid-friendly I'm assuming, since you offered? And is everything okay behind you, Mister...?" Van peered from the male's shoulder to see what was the commotion about.

harakun 06-05-2011 12:13 PM

"Van it is then," Matthias said with a nod before he'd grinned sheepishly, "Was I too obvious?" Bringing up a hand to rub the side of his neck, he turned to look over his shoulder when he didn't spot Johnny standing beside him. He blinked and raised his eyebrows a little before he'd idly wondered what had happened. Apparently, he didn't know Beyond was blind.

The words of the kid made him snap his gaze back at him and he chuckled as he listened in on the conversation of the two. Definitely, they sounded like he and his nephew or his nephew and his dad. "There's more than cake and ice cream," he started before he'd smiled, "There's also some delicious hot chocolate!" Turning to look back at the parent, he put his hand down and put his hands on his hips. "I'm not sure if it's kid-friendly but it'll give you a chance to socialize with the others living in the same building. Oh, and the fireworks display will be a blast, too, that much I could say."

When he'd realized that he hadn't had introduced himself, he held out a hand to Van and gave him a - hopefully, it would pass as one - a charming smile. "Matthias Jones."

Cyberblue Lightning 06-05-2011 12:44 PM

"No no, I know most people I meet have a hard time with my surname any how. It's a common occurrence, that I'm used to now, Mister Jones." Van answered, shaking the offered hand in good gesture. Turning to see Tai's reaction, Tai was jumping with joy, forgetting his poor bagged pet goldfish in his hands as he rejoiced in the fact that there'll be sweets there. "I suggest you stop jumping, Tai. I think Sir Scales getting a bit dizzy."

Tai stopped jumping and checked to see if his fishy is okay. "Sorry Sir Captain Scales of the Pacific." Said fish looked a bit dazed, well as much as a fish does anyway, but other than that he seems okay. Tai laughed sheepishly, making sure that Sir Captain Scales of the Pacific's water was still be correcting his dad. "And it's Sir Captain Scales of the Pacific!"

Chuckling a little, Van ruffled Tai's oddly soft spikes. "We'll think about it." Van replied to Matthias, smiling in response. "Well we'll be off then Mister Jones. We need to settle in and I need to give Tai here his bath and I think Sir Scales here wants his fishbowl." To which Tai whined, not liking the prospect of a bath and mumbled 'It's Sir Captain Scales of the Pacific'. But Van ignored it just like any parent would and grabbed hold of his luggage cases' handle bar.

"A pleasure to meet your acquaintance once again, Mister Jones. I hope you have a good evening and I'll see you soon?" Van bowed a little before making his way towards the elevator. Tai followed suit, but not before showing a big open-mouthed smile and a cheerful "See ya Mister!"
