Me too. :ninja:

Also heard that they sometimes use seaweed and tie themselves to it so they don't float off. :ninja:

What about that gibbons are the same as penguins in the respect that they both mate for life?

Otters are too cute! :squee:

I've never heard that.

Hadn't heard that about gibbons.

Antagonist 05-02-2012 03:31 PM

I guess the seaweed bit was bit less heard of because seaweeds usually aren't long enough to reach past the surface for them to tie themselves to without drowning underwater. :XD;

Didn't know about that with gibbons...

RoadToGallifrey 05-02-2012 03:42 PM

I researched gibbons before because it's part of my surname.

Antagonist 05-02-2012 03:48 PM

...*goes to Google own surname*

......Well, apparently, my surname is supposedly the fourth most common surname in China. :XD Wonder how it fares in Taiwan...not much on the Wiki page to go on.

RoadToGallifrey 05-02-2012 04:00 PM

My surname is an Irish clan name. There's an information page that actually says we were one of the first to flee. You can always count on us in times of need.

At the time a failed potato crop and a growing population in Ireland resulted in the great potato famine. The early immigration and passenger lists revealed many bearing the name McGibbon.
We even have a coat of arms.

Kirin Rosenbaum 05-02-2012 11:13 PM

Hi Bucket.

RoadToGallifrey 05-02-2012 11:14 PM

Hiya. *waves*

Kirin Rosenbaum 05-03-2012 12:08 AM

Love your avatar Bucket.

Antagonist 05-03-2012 12:10 AM

@Bucket: Wow, that's cool! I doubt we have a coat of arms of sorts. :XD (even if we did in some distant past, it's long gone by now)

Kirin Rosenbaum 05-03-2012 12:58 AM

*goes and sits in the corner*

RoadToGallifrey 05-03-2012 03:29 PM

Thank you, Kirin. I was bored of being naked so I decided to see what I had in my inventory.

@Dan: I find genealogy quite interesting, so I like looking into my family name. There was someone with the same name as my dad convicted for stealing.

Antagonist 05-03-2012 03:34 PM

There are waaay too many people with the same surname as our family, so I'm pretty sure there are thousands upon thousands of criminals all with the same surname as us out there. :XD;

RoadToGallifrey 05-03-2012 04:04 PM

I've not actually met anyone with the same surname as me. Well, that I'm not related to. There obviously are, just not where I live. I'm the only person on Facebook with my first and last name combination.

Vanora 05-03-2012 05:32 PM

o wo
My last name is fairly common.
Although when I was in elementary I thought I was the only one with my last name.
I thought it was unique since I had met way too many people with my first name.
Then high school came and I met two others with my last name.

RoadToGallifrey 05-03-2012 06:36 PM

Never met anyone else with my first name that was spelled the way I spell it either. There is another girl in my psych class with my name though. First time ever! :gonk:

It works well.

Great out fit Roz.

Vanora 05-03-2012 06:44 PM

Cass;
It's bound to happen. >.<
I was disappointed when I found out my last name wasn't as unique as I had originally thought.

Thank you Kirin. :)

RoadToGallifrey 05-03-2012 06:52 PM

Thanks, Kirin. C: I don't really like the bottom half much. Waist up I'm fond of though.

@Roz: After thirteen years in the education system and dodging people with the same name, I hoped it wouldn't.

Vanora 05-03-2012 07:02 PM

Hahaha.
Well I think thirteen years a huge time to not meet someone with the same name/ name spelling.

I've met several people with my name with different spellings.
Elisabeth, Lizbeth, Elizabet, Lizabet... Rarely ever met someone with the same spelling as mine.
I think I only met one girl with the same spelling as mine, which I honestly found odd.

RoadToGallifrey 05-03-2012 07:03 PM

I've never met another Tania in my life. Only ever Tanyas, and they're few and far between. I think I know of three Tanyas. One of whom is in my psychology class. :stare:

Vanora 05-03-2012 07:08 PM

It's frustrating being in a class with someone with the same name as you. :gonk:

RoadToGallifrey 05-03-2012 07:09 PM

I'm glad she's going to uni next year so she won't be there to challenge me. I'm just a drama queen haha.

Vanora 05-03-2012 07:11 PM

Hahaha.
I've gotten used to it. Having more than two Elizabeth's in a classroom. *Sigh*
Not much I could do about it.
