@Dan-san: Well, there's two like... light... sockets or whatever for this room (because it's supposed to be like a dining room and living room) but one of them went out and we've yet to replace it. :XD

Definitely. It's the light that was part of the fan we installed though; so we're a little confused about what exactly to do. Because the bulb is kind of hidden. I suppose we should just fiddle around with it or something.

my lightbulb burned out and popped the light control on the remote. so now i can have the fan on only with the light on. i just loved my fan too. |

For months we thought the battery in our remote had just died and that's why the light wasn't working. But we got a new battery and discovered it was the light. :c Aww. We left our fan on back when we thought the remote battery was dying; so we use the switch instead. |
yeah, there is this little silver control in the light housing and it popped, like fried the circut in the system. so i have to pay for a new on or just live with no other way to turn the light off while the fan is operating. it's a pain in the butt because you do want to sleep with the fan on and i am unable to sleep with the overhead light on. |
Dang, that really sucks. You can't just unscrew the lightbulb when you want to use just the fan?
