And getting to sleep early isn't so bad, its 5am here, and covered in snow, i wanted to get up early to go sledging but looks like that won't happen now XD

We've got 3 or 4 inches i think.

It snowed for hours but i missed the start of it unfortunately.

Straight away Londons stopped working and our busses stopped and all the shops in my village closed...

I swear this country is snow-a-phobic.

How come the london UNDERGROUND stops running when its snowing....how the hell does that work??
Good job i didnt go there to see that concert today, i'd probably have ended up stranded with no money for a hotel if i had to stay an extra day D=

Haha yeah. Ukraine and all the other badly hit european countries are still working alright. Even with homeless people freezing to death and -37 Celcius temperatures, they still work.

Yet our UNDERGROUND travel systems can't? It makes no sense to me haha.

I love the snow, i just don't understand why some people/businesses can't man up and continue to run.
If we ever start another ice age while we're this civilized we'll have to go back to the middle ages to survive lol

I just know here that sometimes schools close because of the snow, but it depends on how much snow. Where I used to go to school it took a certain amount of snow to close campus, but most people were equipped to deal with it. Depended though... for saftey reasons sometimes roads.. and such had to be closed. xD

Hehe, sounds like something people do these days! I always see people running to the shops in slippers and Pj's xD

And yeah, if it was Monday tomorrow/today i bet most of our schools would have closed for fear of the snow getting worse before hometime.

We're just a paranoid country. We had that flood the other year and now everytime it rains everywhere gets flood warnings and sandbags xD

its the same with snow, shops and schools close straight away "just incase" it ends up bad later...SILLYNESS

Although im sure kids don't mind the snowdays, time for sledging and snowman making! Like i plan on doing tomorrow :P

@Lavinia: Hey! ^__^ Nope, it's just a random username based off of one of my OCs I don't really use. There's a lot of people thinks my username is related to metal music. By the way, I really do love metal music~ X3 I like all the music, really.

@Nemo: It's fine. ^_^ The most annoying part of my life at the moment is that I always get to feel sleepy and I have to sleep. The other annoying part is studying, but I'm in homeschool, and it usually takes me 2-3 hours to finish.

:lol: Like us crazy uni students over here! ;) I know that there are some students who'll go to class in PJ's and whatnot... :XD And my roomie a few terms back would go to get pizza in her pj's from time to time, mainly because she'd be too lazy to change before we went out for food! Haha!

Lol, floods can be scary though - seeing as I live right on a river when I'm at my parents and we've had a flood once... although nothing real exciting happened. It was kinda boring. :XD

And snow days are totally awesome and I love them, but not when they make school years longer. Although where I am now, it like rarely snows. We just get rains... but not a lot of that lately... I miss the rain... and getting to use my massive umbrella.

Metal: Awe, sleep - yeah, I've learned to work through the sleepyness.. the joys of college. What grade are you in, if you don't mind me asking? My younger brother is a Senior in HS this year, and almost done - he graduates in May. :shock: CRAZY! That's not too bad, homework wise (to get it all done) there are times that I work crazy long.. like today for example - the five hours sitting in Starbucks studying (didn't even get it all done... -headdesk-)

Haha, most annoying thing about our flood was that the prime minister AND the prince, although i forget which one, probably William, were right round the corner from me for a news thing and i MISSED IT! Shame...lolll

And yeah ours was because of a dyke. The river did burst its banks but it passes through town so they tried to save town by flooding the dykes more and that idea totally failed haha.
It was kinda funny seeing neighbours in kayaks and canoes xD

I just took a picture of our back garden. It doesnt seem that high up on the wall, but on my grandads car you can tell its 4 inches, maybe the way the snow was blowing missed the wall cause of our house blocking it xD

Oh, no worries - I keep forgetting about it too, and yep you gave me your username. Usually weekends, and fridays are best for me, or Monday/Wednesday after two, if I am actually here. Sometimes I get caught up in school work without my computer on. I don't sign on there that often either. :)
