Nitemare- ok, just wondering. i still think the wire bottom should come out, or make like tray that goes over the top. besides bumblefoot, their feet can get stuck in between the wires and they can break a toe or break a leg. :( i'm not trying to scare you or anything and how you keep your piggy is your business, just trying help. :)

My chinchilla has a wire cage. It has three levels and the bottom level there is no wire, but the other two are all wire. So I got some marble slabs for him to rest his feet on. And stay cool. :P

i think for a chin it's ok for them to have a wire cage, they climb right?

No, they jump. Wire is bad for their feet too. He has plenty of non-wired spots though. :yes:

Hmm...I'll see. I really hate how Nibbler enjoys doing its business (both) in its food bowl all the time, it's a pain to clean up, and it's nasty to look at. |

i got like those dog kennel dishes and put that in my piggy cages. that way they can't dump them over.

I use a paperclip to secure it in place. :XD Though it's become a bit rusted lately so I'll have to replace it soon... |
I meant a new food bowl to put food in. It can use the first one as a toilet. :lol:
