I was cursing like hell as it happened! I think I almost exhausted my vocab of bad language I can safely use around my mam (discounts some stuff but I was still pretty creative). The little sh*t is a son-of-a-b*tch (litterally) and I was screaming for Arya to run up and stab the little *sshole!!!!!!!! Not to mention I was screaming for SOMEONE to save him!!!!! And then we he looked around for Arya...and THEN there was Sansa who was a little b*tch and didn't do ANYTHING to help!!!! FIRST it's the wolf and now her father!! GET THE LITTLE SH*T KILLED NEXT! MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL FOR ONCE YOU UNHELPFUL, LAZY, USELESS.....-trails off into long string if curses not apropriate for mene-
-coughs- Sorry, got a bit carried away but the episode REALLY p*ssed me off!

Ehehehehe, love the violent reactions. Might have had one myself if I hadn't known it was coming. ^.^; That being said, I can't wait for the awesome that is going to be the final episode. *refrains from giving out spoilers*

Is there going to be one series for every book or will they just cram the whole series into one season?

I'm just listening to the audiobook that I downloaded now (and it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!) and I'm only at the part where Robert and Ned are leaving Winter Fell. There's so much more detail but I'm realising how close it is to the books. They're even using a lot of the lines that I remember hearing in teh show which is really good. They're doing a great adaption so far and I'm looking forward to the next episode!!!!!!

Well, they've just finished off the events of the first book with the season finale, so that does seem to be the plan. One series per book, though some events from the seconds book slipped into the first season and I imagine some of the events from the third book shall slip into the second season, as many of the events in the books happen simultaneously. For example book three starts with a POV chapter detailing an account of an event that happens at the same time as something that happens toward the end of book two.

Yes, the adaptation has been wonderful thus far, and i'm glad you're enjoying the audiobook. I believe I sent you the good one (guy with the british accent and talent for voices and random sounds?) Generally I hate audiobooks, but Roy Doltrice is something else. Granted I also have copies of the books themselves.

What did everyone think of the finale?

Somehow Dany being blonde never registers for me. I'm like, ah, the white/silver haired chick / the mother of dragons.

But when I think just plain ole blonde I think, 'but this is GoT, those must be bad people.' xD Granted some of my favorite characters are bad people...so yeah. ^.^;

In general blondes are bad except for Dany and Tyrion Lanister. He's definitely my favourite character!

And yes that's the audiobook I have! It is absolutely brilliant!!!! I love listening to it and I fully intend to download the next audiobook as soon as possible! I'm about half way through Game of Thrones right now (it's longer than I expected it to be) and I love the different points of view and the extra information I get from teh author's naritive that we don't get in the series like pieces of history that they don't show. It's really good. Plus I finally know the names of all the direwolves!!!!! They're brilliant names -snickers- and it's really cute that Rickon called his "Shaggy dog". Not a very creative name but for a three year old it isn't too bad.

Oh god Rickon and his direwolf....they be crazy. >.<
Alright not actually crazy, per say, but definitely erm...special....yes, let's go with special.

My fiance is crazy about it but I haven't checked it out yet. He said I might not like the show because it's a bit gory and I'm a bit squeamish. V_V

This show was wonderful. I'm ready to start book 2. :)

I am in love with this show, it is so much fun. I think the violence only adds to the story.

I'm about a third through book three. Good times. The story just keeps getting better!

Season 2 started amazing! I just love Robb Stark so much, it hurts!! And Tyrion. And Arya. And everyone who slaps Joffrey.

The books are great! I'm just waiting for my aunt to finish the newest one, so I can borrow it ^.^

I have a couple of friends who watch it. But I have not seen it myself yet though.

Last night's episode was nice, I really want to know what the heck Melisandre gave birth to though. I was also really glad when Gendry was saved from being tortured, he's too nice to get hurt.
