Sasuke stiffled a yawn as he headed to the training grounds. The sun wasn't even up yet, but he still felt a strong urge to train. But he honestly didn't mind being out so early. Everything was quiet and there was no-one there that could possibly get on his nerves.

Naruto couldn't stop himself from grinning widely as he ran as fast as he could to the training grounds. He had gotten up extra early to make sure he got there before anyone else. He even skipped out on his morning roman!

Sasuke could hear the faint sounds of someone approaching the training grounds. He let his attention drift over to see who it was and he sighed. Why was Naruto out so early? He normally slept in later than everyone else. He shook his head slowly and went back to his training.

Naruto skidded to a stop once he saw the dark figure training in the training grounds. He was unmoving for a moment, then he stamped his foot and yelled, "SASUKE-TEME!!! What are YOU doing here?!"

Sasuke didn't even look away from what he was doing when he heard Naruto yell at him. "What does it look like I'm doing baka? I'm training."

"But why NOW?!" he whined, "I got up soo early!" he sat down heavily on a tree stump, his stomic growled loudly in compliant. He patted it longingly.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow lightly before glancing over at Naruto. "Why? You should have gotten something to eat first." Was he actually stupid enough to skip breakfast and go straight to training? Based of the loudness of the stomach growl, he decided yes. Yes he was.

The blond sighed loudly, holding his stomic. "I've nver been first to the training grounds.." he mumbled to him self. He had wanted to acomplesh that goal for the last week. The first day, Shino was here, then Kiba and Akamaru, then TenTen and Neji, Hinata and Shino again, Sakura with Ino, and then Kiba, Akamaru, Hinata AND Shino, and now Sasuke-Teme!

Sasuke resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the blond and went back to his training. He wasn't going to let Naruto being here disrupt his training. He was going to get stronger and nothing was going to get in his way of gaining that strength. "You should get here earlier then." he said. It would amuse him greatly if Naruto actually did arrive to the training grounds earlier than he had today.

"EARLIER?!" the orange- clad ninja screeched. "IT'S THREE IN THE MORNING!!"

Sasuke shrugged, not liking the high-pitched tone of Naruto's voice so early in the morning. "Then don't come earlier. It doesn't matter to me." he said, moving on to target practice.

Naruto growled, "You know what? I'll just have to come in tomorrow at midnight!.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow lightly. "There's no way you'd be able to wake up that early. You'd have to just not go to sleep at all."

"Good idea, Sasuke-teme!" Naruto smiled brightly. "NO WAY will some one be up that early!

Sasuke shook his head slightly, not responding as he focused on his training. If Naruto actually did manage to stay up til midnight, there was no way he'd be able to stay awake when they actually had to train with Kakashi and Sakura.

At midnight that night, Gai- sensai and Lee was there, doing youthful jumping jacks.
All threw the village, you could hear Naruto s screams of dread.

Sasuke sighed from where he was in his house. So that idiot really did try going to training in the middle of the night? Didn't he know that today was the day that Lee and Gai went? He shook his head slowly and went to bed.

Naruto returned the next day, not caring anymore about being the first there, and sat down by the small stream. He was to tired to train and he thought a nice nap would do him some good.

Sasuke went to the training grounds later than he normally did. Mostly because some fangirls had memorized his schedule and have started following him around. If he arrived later than normal, than there was no way that they'd know he was there.

Naruto was fast asleep when Sasuke showed up.

Sasuke sighed when he seen him and poked him in the side to wake him up. After all, this wasn't the best place to take a nap.

Naruto growled and peeled his eyes open, "What do you want, teme?"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow lightly. "You really shouldn't be sleeping out on the training fields." he said.

"Why not?" the blond pouted, "the grass is surprisingly soft."
