Saya looked at her watch and saw it was getting close to the time her aunt wanted to call. " I better get going before it gets too dark. Would you like me to meet you someplace? " She asked.Saya knew she had to do some school work before she went out looking again.
Tetsu nodded. " I've only heard the Vandenreich once before this. A friend of mine told me recently he was contacted by them. He said he didn't join , but the whole encounter made him feel extremely uneasy. I hope we can find out more about what they are planning before it is too late. " He said. |
"Sure. We could meet here if you want or at the park again. I also go to Karakura High," Ishida said, listing off a few places where they could meet up. Watching her go, he wondered if he was the first person besides her father to not demean her for her different skills when it came to being a Quincy. Then again, his dad told him to not bother trying and look how it turned out for him. He chuckled at that for a few seconds before grabbing Ichigo's spirit tag and started following it.
"A friend of yours was asked?" Rukia asked in surprise. Shaking her head lightly she continued on. "Also...they have a shinigami that is helping them: Shigure Misato and he has something that is similar to Aizen's zanpakuto," she continued. Now if only they could find out what they wanted with Rue. |
Saya headed back to the motel and was glad to have met Ishida. She had grabbed some food from a nearby conveiniance store before getting back. She locked the door and sat down on the bed. She was looking forward to meeting up again with Ishida and hoped to learn more.
" He wasn't to happy about it either. " Tetsu said, wondering if Travis would be able to help them at all.Tetsu for some reason recognized the name Rukia had mentioned. " Do you think it's this Shigure Misato who is the new ruler of Hueco Mundo?" Tetsu asked having a feeling that man was. He hoped they could get Rue back before things got worse. |
"It's possible that he is the new king of Hueco Mundo, but if he has Hollows and Quincy working together then..." she said as she dropped off, not wanting to finish that sentence. "It would also not surprise me if this Shigure has some powerful Arrancar that were connected with Katniss. I dug up some history on her...she killed two powerful tyrants."

"I remember her mentioning that earlier at Urahara's. I've heard those names before, but can't figure out where." Tetsu said. He sensed Ishida coming closer and inwardly sighed. He knew Ishida didn't know about the Quincy they had encountered today, knowing it would be better if Ichigo said something instead of him.
Hoshi sensed Ishida coming closer. She had came down to be with the others , not liking being by herself. She hoped her friend was alright and hadn't been hurt. |
Ishida stopped for a second as he stood in front of the gate to Hoshi's house, surprised to feel so many shinigami all in one place that weren't Ichigo and the others. Something happened while I was with Saya-chan, but what? he asked himself before heading to the door and knocking, not wanting to be rude.

Hoshi heard the knock on the door and got up to answer it." Ishida-san. It's good to see you." Hoshi said with a small smile. She dreaded telling him about Rue." Please come in." She said inviting him inside.

"Ishida came inside and noticed the somber mood in the room. "What happened?"

" Rue was taken." Hoshi said sadly.

Ishida raised an eyebrow in surprise, wondering why she was taken in the first place. While he didn't know the Plus spirit as well as the others, it was strange for anyone to kidnap a spirit. 'What exactly did I miss while helping Saya?' he asked himself.

" I wasn't there when it happened, but Ichigo was. Ishida-san it was a group of Quincy that took Rue. " Hoshi said sadly.

"That's not possible," Ishida quickly said, not believing that there were more Quincy, or that they kidnapped a Plus spirit.

" I think it might be best we tell the others about the Vandenreich." Tetsu said when he sensed Ishida. He knew that Captain Hitsugaya might disagree. He knew that Ichigo and the others inside needed to know.

"It's true Uryuu. I saw it with my own eyes," Ichigo said as he sensed Rukia, Hitsugaya and Tetsu coming inside.

"We have some information that you will need to know about the Quincy you encountered today." Tetsu said when he sat down. Hoped that it would help.

Ishida raised an eyebrow at that, wanting to hear the explanation of what happened. Certainly there had to be a reason for what was going on.

" Rue was taken by a Quincy group called the Vandenreich. They broke off from the rest of the Quincy around the same time the events of 200 years ago occurred. They wanted the apocalypse to happen, for what reason I don't know, but the majority of Quincy didn't want it to happen. I was getting ready to joints the fight when I was knocked out and later saw them taking Rue. I thought I sensed something similar to Kyoka Suigetsu , though now I'm not so sure that was the Zanpaktou used. Rukia-San said that the Vandenreich have a shinigami named Shigure Misato working with them. Also Misato has something that is similar to Aizen's Zanpaktou. I have a feeling these Quincy were possibly hypnotized and are under the control of Misato. " Tetsu said, telling them what he knew.

Ishida sighed lightly, now knowing exactly what was going on. "So it is true after all...I'm sorry for doubting you grandfather," Ishida muttered lightly before raising his voice. "So they're back?" Ishida asked as he got a nod from Rukia. Ishida sighed lightly as he recalled the information and story that his grandfather once told him. While he knew nothing about Misato Shigure, he would help in any way possible.
"I don't recognize these Vandenreich as members of the Quincy and as such will help in any way possible," he said as he thought of how to help the others prepare for some of the Quincy techniques. He also made a mental note to talk to Urahara or Tetsu about Saya-san, wondering if she knew anything about the renegade group of Quincies and if she was willing to help them fight. |
Tetsu nodded and was glad that Ishida would help them. " Would you be willing to help us prepare for some of the attacks that wwe might face. " Tetsu asked. He knew a little bit on Quincy techniques, but not very much.

"That's what I was going to start with actually," Ishida responded. "Although I may not know all the techniques, but I should be able to help you with some of them."

" Any amount of training will help. I'm glad you want to help Ishida-san. Is Saturday too soon to start the training ?" Tetsu asked, knowing he would have to let Kisuke know . He hoped Hitsugaya and Rukia would want to help with the training. He had a feeling Ishida wanted to ask him something but would wait till later to ask.

"Saturday will be fine, but first, can I ask you about something, in private?" Ishida asked.

" Sure. " Tetsu said getting out of the chair. He hoped he could help with what he thought was bothering Ishida.

Ishida followed Tetsu outside. Once Tetsu turned around and Ishida felt enough distance was given for him to ask, he first told him about how he met Saya and if it was alright for her to help if she wanted to.

" It is alright if she wants to help. Would she be comfortable around Shinigami ?" Tetsu asked.
