Katniss heard Tetsu inside and wondered if the Captain could feel the Hollows approaching the city.

Tetsu got a signal that he and Hoshi were needed to fight. They both got out of their bodies and went toward where the hollows were. Tetsu sent a signal to Katniss, so she knew that something was up.

Saya felt the terrible feeling of the hollows, hoping that Ishida was going out to fight them. Saya didn't want to have anyone captured today.

Ishida asked if Saya wanted to help after feeling the Hollows himself. He wouldn't force her if she didn't want to, but hoped that she would.

Ichigo sighed lightly as he opened his eyes, returning from his mind scape. He didn't want to do it, but he made a deal with the devil, but only if the situation called for it. He then shifted into his Shinigami form before vanishing.

" I do want to help. I don't have to meet my aunt till after lunch. " Saya said wanting to use this time to help out. Her Aunt Megumi would understand that Saya wanted to help her friends.


Hoshi dodged a claw strike and immediately went to shikai. She had the feeling that these hollows were a little stronger than the ones before. She brought down her blade on the mask and dodged in time from another's claw.

"Alright then," he said, glad that she wanted to help. He just hoped that if Saya-chan was late that her aunt would understand.

Katniss fired an arrow before rolling underneath a claw swipe. As she rose, she shot out another arrow that she had notched while rolling. 'Behind you!' the spirit shouted as Katniss turned and let out another arrow before freezing as she heard a voice in her ear. Jumping back, she notched another arrow into her bow. "I killed you once, I'll kill you again Coin," she said in an angry tone.

"Perhaps...but can you really call what you did to me fair?" she asked as she took out her zanpakuto.

"And what you did to Prim and the others was fair?!" Katniss asked in anger.

Hoshi could sense other shinigami around , but knew they were not to be trusted. She continued to fight the hollows, knowing her dad was close by. Hoshi knew her dad didn't want her to be the key.

Saya shot her arrows at the hollows and glad that a few went down. She hoped it was alright that she helped, not liking that they were so thick. She knew Ishida was close and wondered if he feared she was the key.

Ishida wouldn't admit it to anyone, but he hoped that Saya wasn't the key that these Shinigami were looking for. He also didn't want it to be Hoshi since she was family after all. Shooting another arrow into the mass of Hollows before hearing a voice nearby talking to him.

"So you're the Protector of the second key..." he muttered loud enough for Ishida to hear.

Glaring at the elder male in front of him, he pulled back on his bow, ready to fire each arrow that he could at the man in front of him. 'Which one does he mean...Saya or Hoshi?' he asked himself, since he could technically be called a protector for both of them. Although he had a feeling that he meant Saya...and if he did, he'd have to pull out the big guns.

Hoshi continued to fight the hollows and didn't like that they were getting worse. She didn't want to go bankai, not knowing the effects it would have in an uncontrolled area.She knew she had to keep her guard up, in case she or anyone else was the second key.


Saya kept firing arrows at the hollows and kept her guard up, not wanting to be ambushed. She knew if she was the second key she would fight till she couldn't anymore. She felt more hollows appearing and other shinigami in the area fighting them.

Katniss fired another arrow at the woman she killed with a surprise shot to the head in past. She wasn't surprised that the woman dodged the arrow. Sensing the arrow around a group of Hollows, she pressed in on the spot where her hand was resting, watching the arrow explode. Moving her finger up just a little, she separated the bow into two small based swords.

Ishida growled lightly as he dodged a punch from the older man. He knew from the first few hits into the ground that each place he hit had instantly reduced itself to ash, most likely due to poison. Knowing this, he made sure to stay at a distance and fired several arrows at once, hoping that some would hit. If he survived this battle, he would ask his father if there was any way to add effects to his arrows, similar to what Katniss had.

Saya knew Ishida needed help, but was overwhelmed by hollows. She fired more arrows that hit a few at once, but had a feeling this was a distraction for something, which made her resolve even greater.

Tetsu had a feeling that someone was distracting them. He slashed a hollow and dodged at a claw strike that seemed to come out of nowhere. He knew that something was up.

Hoshi was glad that Tatsuki was closeby to help her , knowing her dad had went to another area. She hoped everyone else was safe.


Megumi Adachi arrived in Karakura town and sensed the chaos. She knew there was someone close by that needed some help. She hurried and started to fight the hollows, having the feeling the Vandenreich had something to do with this.

(...wow, I was about to ask who was Megumi lol)

"You feel up to some tag teaming?" Tatsuki asked.

Ishida gathered Reiatsu around him, hoping that this would work, especially since he didn't have time to dodge the kick laced with poison reiatsu. Seeing the shield of energy block the poisonous energy as well as the physical attack 'I'm glad that worked,' he thought to himself as he sensed someone new entering the fray. 'Who's that?' he thought to himself before firing a Seele Schneider at who he assumed was Snow, but wasn't sure.

" Definatly. " Hoshi said with a grin.

Megumi dodged the Seele Schneider that had been aimed at her ." I hope you are on my side. " She said to a raven haired boy that was close by . Megumi knew he was fighting a shinigami and could feel an evil presance about it. She also knew Saya was closeby and hoped this was the other Quincy she had talked about.

" I am. You must be Ishida Uryu, right? I wish we could have met under better circumstances. " She said and fired a group of arrows toward the hollows.

Hoshi fought more hollows and was glad that Tatsuki was with her. She was also glad the number of hollows were decreasing, but had a feeling someone was going to be captured soon.

Saya saw the hollows decreasing, and had a bad feeling. She knew something else was about to happen and raised her guard. She hoped she wasn't the second key.

Coin noticed that the Hollows were decreasing and a small smile graced her face, glad that their plan was so far going as planned. She was surprised that the same tactic would work twice as she sensed one of the Vandenreich appear from behind one of the hollows. If it weren't for her shinkai's ability, then this would be much harder.

Hoshi knew to keep her guard up not wanting Tatsuki or herself to be captured. She didn't want to live the dream of being in a cell and chained. She had to keep fighting.

Saya felt her aunt close by and was relieved. She had her guard up, since the decreasing hollows made her feel very uneasy. She had to keep whomever was the second key out of the Vandenriech's hands.

Salem browsed over the scene as the Hollows hid him physically from view. "The second Key?" He asked once Coin materialized next to him, knowing that she could see who they would need for the second key with her special ability.

"The Quincy girl. Snow is keeping the girl's aunt and the protector occupied, but I'm not entirely sure how long he will last," she said, knowing that prolonged use of his sword's abilities would cause him to be out of it for at least a few days. Coin knew that Katniss wouldn't interfere, seeing as she was able to get the girl very angry by mentioning how Rue was calling for Katniss in her sleep and was able to get a lucky shot in, causing the annoying "Mockingjay" to become unconscious.

Saya was feeling overwhelmed. There were too many hollows starting to gather around her. She hoped there was a way she could get out.

" Ishida-San. Try to ease up your use of the Seele Schnieder. It is the most effective, but also the easiest way to cause burnout. Try to channel more power through your arrows. " Megumi yelled in Ishida's direction. She hoped he wouldn't mind the suggestion, since she wanted to help him conserve energy. Megumi had a feeling that they would need all the help they could get.
