" It is true. Travis-San said it was in an old journal of his uncle's.He also told me that the reason his uncle found it out was because he had been selected to be trained as a guard. But from what I assume , being selected to that position was what triggered his uncle and father escaping. " Urahara said.He knew this was herd for Travis to do, but it would help in their fight.

"I'm confused. How is it that him becoming the bodyguard of this Leader person helped start their plans for escape? Did it allow them more freedoms or something?" Toushiro asked confused. He was also curious as to how how his father and uncle were able to escape from the Vandenreich in the first place. "Did the journals say anything about how they were able to fight off the brainwashing?" Toushiro asked before apologizing for having so many questions.

" Actually it lessened his freedoms. Up to that point Thomas Carter had been raising Joseph since their parents had been killed. Thomas didn't want his brother to forget their parents and would have been separated. Travis explained that his uncle was 10 and his father had been 5 when their parents had been killed. From what I was told ,Thomas used hollow bait to distract the other members while they escaped. Travis said that most Quincies by the age of 10 know enough about the Vandenreich to know that what they are doing isn't right. " Urahara explained.

"That sounds extremely interesting..." Toushiro said after listening to Kisuke.

" Travis says he has the name of the Vandenreich leader and some information on what moves the Vandenreich use. He's explained to me that most Quincy don't normally use these techniques to the extent the Vandenreich do."Urahara said.

"Really now? That's interesting..." Toushiro said as he listened to Kisuke. "Did Travis or Travis' father say what type of techniques were being used?" he then asked, knowing that any information could help. |

It's an advanced Quincy technique that grants one inhuman offensive and defensive capabilities, generated by making reishi flow into the user's blood vessels. However, the independent forms for attack and defense cannot be used at the same time. Travis says from the notes that it's best to strike when they are switching between the two, but it's just a matter of quick timing. " Urahara said. |

Toushiro scowled as he heard about the technique, knowing that it would be a bitch to try and counter it. "Could Ishida learn this technique?" He asked. |

" I'm sure he could. " Urahara said making a note to ask Ryuken about Blut and if he knew how to use it. " I hope this information helps. I can understand how badly Travis wants to be helpful. Is there a chance he would have to appear in front of the captains?" He asked. |

"I hope this information can help us too. I don't know if Travis-san has to go in front of the captains, though I'm sure me or someone else everyone knows will be in contact with you if he needs to," Toushiro said, hoping this information could help them win against the Vandenreich. |
" Alright. I'll let him know if he does need too. He's been in contact with the North American Council and from what he said, they will agree to work with the Shinigami if it comes to that. He thinks they are waiting on how the captains would react to working with Quincies. "Urahara said. He hoped something could be worked out.

"Thanks Kisuke and I'm not sure what the other captains will say about that news, but I know I, for one, would be willing to work with just about anyone to take down this foe," Toushiro said.

Urahara nodded." It would be helpful if the Quincy could help. They have more people than we do and more than the Vandenreich do. Travis said that in the last several decades the Quincy have grown in number, but he doesn't know by how much." Urahara said.

Toushiro nodded his head at that, knowing that they needed the help of the Quincy. "Let's just hope that General Commander and the council agree to this. We could definitely use all the help we could get," Toushiro said before asking if there was any more news about Jessica or about Hoshi and Katia.

" No new news on Jessica, but we know she's still alive. I was told Hoshi has mastered her amplifying ability and has gained some strength. Katia has also gotten stronger and both girls will now be able to learn an important skill they will need to protect their visions." Urahara said remembering what Yoruichi had told him on the phone.

"That's good, although I think you should let the others know to keep that power of hers a secret. Just think about all the shinigami that would want to partner up with her," Toushiro said with a small chuckle. Although he was glad that both girls were getting stronger, he just hoped it was strong enough. "What about Kurosaki? Has he gotten any stronger?" He asked, wanting to know just in case.

"I will let the others know. I know they would. As far as I know only the ones who know her father know about that ability , though I think you are one of the few who knows she's able to use it in battle like Tetsu can. Ichigo has gotten stronger from what Yoruichi said. " Urahara said. He wasn't sure if Ichigo knew he had Quincy blood in him, though knowing Isshin wouldn't say anything either. He feared the Vandenreich knew this and would try to blackmail Ichigo into helping them. Urahara also knew it was them who had killed Masaki and had tried to get Ichigo then on that night. |

"Then I won't betray that trust," Toushiro said, seeing Urahara smile at that statement. He was also glad that Ichigo was getting stronger before he repeated what Urahara said. "Wait a second...Ichigo's a Quincy?!" |
" He is. I'm glad you guessed that. You and I both know he can't get any stronger as a Shinigami. He's defiantly equal to Isshin in power. His mother was a Quincy but Ichigo doesn't know that. Yet at least. I'm hoping he finds that out before the Vandenreich use that fact to blackmail him. Though, I don't want that repeated that he is one. I don't want a certain scientist to think that fact about Ichigo gives him the right to do experiments on him. " Urahara said solemnly. It bothered him greatly that Kurotsuchi had done that to so many Quincy.

"It's the only thing that makes sense really, especially since Ichigo continues getting stronger. It seems as if he has no stopping point," Toushiro muttered. Even as a genius, he, himself, had a stopping point. "I won't let anyone else know, but I think Ichigo should be told, and soon. Either by you, Tetsu or his own father," Toushiro added.

" I think eventually he will have a stopping point but when that is I don't know. I'll talk to Isshin about this. I know Isshin has his own reasons for not saying anything, but times like these no secret like this should be hidden." Urahara said. He would call Isshin once this meeting was over. He also wanted to tell Yoruichi how he did feel about her, knowing 100 plus years was too long to hide. He didn't want it to go unsaid, in case something bad happened to either of them.

"Agreed. There are times when secrets need to be told, and these are one of those times. Ichigo would fare better hearing it from Isshin than from the Vandenreich I would think," Toushiro said, not wanting to think about the repercussions of the orange-haired male learn about his Quincy status from the enemy. "Anyways, I should get back. Who knows what Rangiku is getting into without me there to keep her in line," He said with a small shake of the head.

Urahara chucked. "Unless the real reason is because you miss her. " He said jokingly. Sometimes he swore those two argued like they were married. He knew the younger captain needed to relax more and laugh a little more. |
"T-that's not the reason at all," he said, although it wasn't entirely true. Even though he had feelings for the young Seer, he thought of his lieutenant as an older sister, annoying as she could get.

" Alright then. I'll let you know if I get more information on the Vandenreich. Travis said he would let me know the moment he found out the leader's name." Urahara said. he hoped it wouldn't take too much convincing of Isshin to tell Ichigo. He wondered how Ichigo would react once he did find out.
