Rukia finished grating the wasabi and asked if there was anything else that she could do.

Nagisa heard a knock on the private entrance door and headed over to see who it was. After getting confirmation that it was Satoshi, she let him in.

( same here. Saw an advertisement when it first came out on a Bleach forum I was on.left that forum when things got bad and my friends left. )

"You can make the vinegar dressing. That's where the wasabi goes and mixed with a half a cup of vinegar and lemon juice. " Naomi said with a smile. " Sometimes I put a little bit of sugar in to balance out the wasabi. " She added and got the dressing ingredients ready for Rukia.

" Thanks Nagisa. " Satoshi said with a grin. He brought his things in and set them on the floor before giving his older sister a hug. He hoped she was alright by herself,since he had read about some odd happenings here in the last few years. He had read a file about the town being replaced by a copy, but the report said it was just a story by a scared German tourist he was glad he was out of special operations and had been spooked a bit during a missing persons investigation.

Rukia nodded, thinking that it would be a good idea to add the sugar as well before thanking Eiko for getting the ingredients out for her, surprised that she knew her way around the Kurosaki's kitchen so well.

Nagisa returned the hug before replying that it wasn't a problem. Seeing the look on Satoshi's face, she knew that he worried about her living alone here, but it was alright. "Sato, I know that look..." she said.

Eiko was glad things in the kitchen were still the way they were from when she was last here. She was glad that her grandchildren liked the gifts their grandpa had given them. She knew that soon, both Ichigo and Karin would be learning to use their Quincy abilities. She had a feeling Ichigo would be more like his mom and Karin would be more like she was. It was often hard to tell if a Quincy would have elemental abilities.


" Just concerned that's all Oneesan." Satoshi said with a smile. He knew this part of town was safe, but had feeling lately that his sister could see spirits like he could, though he didn't know why he thought that way. As far as he knew, he was the only one in his family who could see them." Dinner smells great. What did you make?" He asked as they went up the stairs to her home.

Rukia glanced back at Ichigo and the others, a small grin forming on her face when she saw Ichigo and the others hugging their grandfather. She was glad that his past accomplishments allowed the Gotei 13 to give the young man a leeway when it came to his powers. If it had been fifty years ago, she knew that they would have sent out a task force to subdue him out of fear of his massive, and still growing, powers.

"I know you're concerned for me Aniki, but I can take care of myself. Thanks for the concern though," Nagisa replied with her own smile, glad that her brother cared for her, even after all these years. She then heard his question as what dinner was and replied that it was chicken.

Ren had a feeling that the members of the Soul Society weren't too concerned about Ichigo's growing power and was glad about that. He was also happy that his grandchildren had liked their gifts.

Eiko drained the eggs and began to peel them, and would slice them in half before arranging them nicely on the plates. It was a simple meal, but knew that everyone would like it.She drained the shrimp and put them on the plates like she had the eggs." We should be ready. " Eiko said seeing that the salad was done. " Thank you girls for helping out." She said with a smile.

" Chicken is always good." Satoshi said with a grin. " Anything you need help with while I'm here?" He asked Nagisa with a grin. He had a question that he needed to ask his sister before he gave Naomi her special gift tomorrow. He was nervous that she wouldn't like it.

"You're welcome Isobe-san," Rukia replied, glad that she was able to help, having a feeling that Naomi was thinking the same thing.

"Thanks, I thought so too," Nagisa replied before thinking for a few seconds to see if there was anything around that her brother could help her with. "I could use another hand at the shop," she said, although she had a feeling that her brother was hiding something from her. She would wait for him to speak up about it first, but would only wait so long.

"I can help you a little bit before I got back to Tokyo. Have you thought about hiring someone to help around here? I know there are plenty of people that are looking for a job these days. . I need to head back to work on Monday , though I want to stay longer. Is it okay if I ask you something?" Satoshi asked and got the small box out of the duffel.

Naomi was glad to see that everyone was happy and took a bite of the cucumber salad. She could feel a slight chill in the air , but didn't think it was a hollow.

"I have, but I think I need to hire a female to help to be honest. All the males, well...let's just say they won't be working for me anytime soon," Nagisa said, remembering how some of the guys she interviewed looked at her. She just hoped that her brother wouldn't get too mad at the incident, especially since it already happened. "Sure. You know you can ask me anything aniki," she replied.

Rukia came out of the kitchen and let the others know that dinner was ready. She was still glad that they considered her like family, but it was still something she wasn't totally used to just yet.

Satoshi gave a odd look at what his sister said about the guys. He knew she would find the one that was right for her , just like he had. " I talked to mom and dad about this and they approve. I'm going to ask Naomi to marry me tomorrow during dinner. I did talk to Isobe-sensei and got his permission and I also talked to her grandfather and he approves. Do you approve that I'm asking Naomi?" He asked. Sakura didn't approve, but she was always against what he did.

" How are you doing Kuchiki-san? " Ren asked as they all ate dinner. He had a feeling she wasn't use to being a part of a close family. Ren understood how that felt, since it had taken him some time to adjust being around Eiko's brothers and thier families at first.

Nagisa grinned, happy for her brother. "Well hopefully she'll say yes, otherwise I may have to have a few words with your then ex-girlfriend, but I have a feeling that won't be necessary. Congratulations Aniki, but yes, I do approve of you asking your girlfriend to marry you." Although she thought it would be better to wait until the graduation, but it was his decision and she wasn't going to say anything about it.

"I'm a little overwhelmed to be honest. Back home, it's just me and sometimes Nii-sama, but since he's a Captain, I don't mind all that much," she admitted as she ate her own food.

"Thanks Onee-chan. We have been talking about it for a while , but I don't think she'll say no. " Satoshi said with a smirk.

" It's understandable Kuchiki-San. I was uncomfortable for a while when I was recovering after I left the Vandenreich. I know you will adjust in time. " Ren had heard about Rukia's brother from Kisuke , but would make his own judgement if he met the man. Ren didn't like it that he had hurt his grandson, but understood the pressure Captain Kuchiki must have been under at the time.

"She will say no if you don't wipe that smirk off your face," Nagisa mock scolded her older brother, glad that he was able to get the girl of his dreams.

Rukia nodded, knowing that what Ren said was most likely true. She just hoped that it happened sooner rather than later before taking another bite of her dinner.

" What's so wrong with a smirk?" Satoshi teased back. " Do you think she'll like it?" He said and showed Nagisa the diamond ring. It wasn't a big diamond, but he had a feeling that Naomi would love it any way. He had been saving for the past 6 months and knew this was the right ring when he saw it.He tensed up at the feeling of a great darkness and knew there were hollows in the area.

Naomi sensed hollows in the area and had a feeling that the stationed shinigami would take care of them. She would help fight hollows if the numbers increased.

(So...when's the wedding? lol jk)

"A smirk doesn't suit you Aniki," Nagisa teased back, glad that he was so happy. "And I think that Naomi will love it. Of course, I think she'd love any type of ring that you give her, since it's coming from you," she replied before sensing supernatural activity, having a feeling that it was Hollows.

Ichigo sensed the Hollows as well, but knew that the other shinigami had everything under control. He knew that Naomi and Rukia had sensed them as well, and would help out if the numbers increased.

( lol. Liked how the new dresses layered with the top I had on. Thinking of getting more before the event is over. )

" I'm glad you think she will. I know I should wait till Sunday , but I feel tomorrow is the right day to ask her. " Satoshi said with a smile. He didn't like the head ache he was getting with all the supernatural activity outside. " Do you have some thing for a headache?" He asked hoping a pain reliever would help some.


Ren sensed the hollows and raised his guard. He had a feeling this was a distraction for the Vandenreich to stop him from what he was going to say tomorrow. He would stay inside until the danger was past , knowing that he was safer here.

(ah. I don't care about the events tbh...)

"Whatever you think is right, then go for it Aniki. I'm not going to stop you," Nagisa said with a small grin on her face before seeing her brother grimace in pain. 'It must be all the spiritual pressure around here. I'm use to it thanks to Kurosaki's reiatsu, but Aniki isn't use to it all just yet...' she thought to herself before nodding. "Give me one sec," she responded as she went into the bathroom and pulled out a small bottle of asprin before heading back to the main room. "Here you go. Do you need some water or you good?" she asked.

Ichigo sighed at this lightly, having a feeling that something like this would happen. "Ren-jiji, it's alright. My friends are taking care of them," he said, referring to the Hollows.

" I'll take some water please. " Satoshi said.He wanted to see Naomi tonight and the apartment she had found, but would see how he felt when she texted him again. " Thanks Onee-chan. " Satoshi said and took the pain relievers. He was feeling a bit better and was ready for some food. " Need any help with getting dinner set up?" He asked after a while.

(by the way, who is Sakura to Nagisa and/or Satoshi?)

"Don't mention it Aniki," she said after coming back with a glass of water and handing it to him. "I'm almost done with dinner, and it should be out soon," she added.

( Sakura is Nagisa's and Satoshi's older sister. She's 27 Nagisa is 25 and Satoshi is 23. )


Satoshi nodded and took a drink of the water. He didn't know why Sakura had never liked Naomi very much and hoped it wasn't because Naomi was a Quincy. Satoshi didn't think his older sisters could see spirits like he could and knew it was an odd thing to ask them if they did. " Why do you think Sakura dislikes Naomi? Mom and dad approve. "He asked. Satoshi never did understand his oldest sister And the ideas she had about things. He was glad Sakura and her husband Haru were running the campground now, since Haru was more of an outdoor guy than Satoshi was and that their parents could finally retire.

(alright. I thought he was older which is why I had Nagisa calling him 'Aniki')

"I'm not sure why Saku-nee-chan hates Naomi-chan," Nagisa said. Although she was glad that Sakura and her husband Haru were working the campgrounds for them, so that their parents could finally retire.

" I just hope that she doesn't disown me when she finds out I proposed to Naomi. I " Satoshi said, feeling a bit sad. He hoped that things would go well when he told everyone.

"I highly doubt that will happen, just because you married Naomi," Nagisa said, knowing that it wouldn't be pretty if Sakura did disown their brother.

Satoshi nodded." I shouldn't worry so much about that. I guess I'm just a bit nervous. " Satoshi said and started to eat his dinner. He was glad that his headache was subsiding and hoped that tomorrow he would be use to all the pressure that he felt."Dinner's great ." He said after he finished glad to finally have a home cooked meal for once. He usually ended up buying something from the convenience store that was near the apartment he rented.

"Thanks. I'm glad you enjoy it," Nagisa replied, glad that her brother enjoyed her cooking.
