" Hi Kukaku-chan. " Saburo said with a smile. It was good to see the woman he still loved after so long.

Kukaku blushed lightly as she saw her long time friend and the only person that she truly loved. "So the rumors are true..." she muttered as a small grin came to her face.

" They are. The Royal Guards are letting me stay here and restore the Kido Corps. I also hope we can pick up where we left off." He said,hoping there was the chance they could be together now.

"Y-You still feel the same way after all this time?" Kukaku asked in surprise and excitement.

" I do. You are the only woman I've ever loved." Saburo said meaning every word.

Kukaku blushed heavily at what Subaro said. She thought that with him being in the Royal Guard that he would have moved on from her, especially since the Noble Elders basically saying that he had no chance in hell of marrying her, or even courting her.

Saburo smiled. " I always loved to see you blush. Do you think I have the chance to court you? He asked.

Kukaku's blush only deepened at what he said and asked, responding by nodding her head respectfully. She didn't trust her voice at the moment.

Saburo smiled. He was glad he had came with Tetsu , who was standing next to Rukia.

Tetsu smiled back and hoped he wouldn't be in any trouble with Byakuya for this, since the Matsuda clan had connections with the Kuchiki clan.

Kukaku had the feeling that the Elders wouldn't have anything to say now about Saburo, especially since he was now so connected.

" I just hope Byakuya-kun doesn't disapprove of this. Though he does seem like a respectable man who understands what it's like to love someone. " Saburo said in a low voice. He was glad that this was going well.

" So have you improved your Kido skills from the last time I taught you ?" Saburo asked with a grin.

"Why don't you find out?" Kukaku returned with a smirk. In truth, she had worked on her Kidou arts over the years, hoping to impress him if, and whenever, he showed back up.

" I would like to. " Saburo said. "You two can head back. I'm not sure how long I'll be but I can find my way back. " He added.

"I'm sure you will brother. Just remember to not do anything you'd regret..." Tetsu said teasingly. Just because he was glad that the two of them had gotten back together didn't mean he wasn't going to tease them about it.

" I won't. " Saburo said with a grin and waved goodbye.

Tetsu only grinned at what Rukia said. Tetsu kept his guard up since he knew Gin had been here and might be back. He was glad that Saburo and Kukaku were together again.

"I would like to see Hoshi and Katia please. I miss them very much and hope that this soon will be over." Tetsu said since he hoped the girls could come back home.

Hoshi had been glad Toshiro had been here to check on her and Katia. " I sense dad. Do you think he'll visit us?" Hoshi asked her cousin as they walked from the training area.

"I think he will," Katia responded.

That made Hoshi smile. She missed seeing her dad everyday and hoped they would be able to go home. She saw Rukia heading toward them and had a feeling that they would be seeing Tetsu soon.
