Hoshi did as she was asked to do,putting one hand on the hilt of the Zanpaktou that was strapped across her back . She then said the command to release her shikai. "Open!Indigo Fog" She said and drew out the nagamaki. She had both her hands on the hilt remembering how Indigo-san had it in her hands . She waited for what might come next.

Hoshi knew her duplicates were out and she was ready for the first strike. She kept and eye out for any sign of a blade and kept viglant for any trace of reiatsu . She stood still so she could focus.

Hoshi knew one of the three illusions had been attacked. There were only two and herself left. She thought it was interesting that she knew one was gone. She continued to be ready to hit a blade with her shikai if she saw one come through the fog.

Toushiro attacked another clone, making a note that they were using the fog to confuse his senses well. If she had some training, she could use the fog to create several sneak attacks.

Tatsuki dodged another cloud of ash and headed in close to Rangiku, trying to attack with her blade of fire.

Hoshi had a feeling that there was only one duplicate and herself left. She was at high alert to anticipate am attack from any direction . She knew that it could come any time soon now.

Hoshi saw the fog dissipate and knew the final duplicate had been defeated. She saw Hitsugaya headed towards her and readied herself for a strike. She knew that she had to remember how she fought on Saturday .

Toushiro quickly started attacking her, noticing that she was blocking most of his attacks. "Not bad, but..." he started to say as he used the chain to knock her blade out of her hands.

"Tatsuki was tired and it started showing as she was grazed by the ash that formed Rangiku's Zanpakuto.

Hoshi had to think fast now that her shikai was out of her hands . She remembered that she could use her reiatsu to lessen the impact of any strike.

After a little while the time was called and Urahara signaled Hitsugaya and Matsumoto . He wanted to know how the girls did against them. There would be one more round after the break."How did it go? " He asked them .

Toushiro was impressed by her quick thinking and stopped when Urahara called for time. The young looking man then heard Urahara ask about each of them.

"Hoshi-San did really well for her first battle against a captain level shinigami. However, she isn't utilizing her shikai to it's fullest potential. Instead of staying hidden within the fog in one place, she could be masking her movements with the illusions that her shikai creates." Toushiro said as Urahara took notes.

"Tatsuki-San isn't all that bad, but she does tend to be a little impatient at times, which someone could take advantage of. I also believe that she needs to be reminded to keep a level head from time to time. Some of those fire waves were not needed." Matsumoto provided.

Hoshi saw Tatsuki head to her match with Captain Hitsugaya. She was going to fight Lieutenant Matsumoto. Hoshi knew she had to do better this time. She had her hand on the hilt of her sealed Zanpaktou getting ready again to say the command to unseal it.

Rangiku, once again, quickly unleashed her shikai on Hoshi, checking her reaction time. Once she saw the girl dodge, she grinned.

Matsumoto wasn't kidding. Her patience has a small fuse it seems Toushiro thought to himself as he blocked several rapid strikes, both with the sword and without. hm...I think Soi Fon would be able to help her more than I he thought to himself as he quietly said "Sit Upon the Frozen Heavens" before his shikai appeared.

"Open! Indigo Fog! " Hoshi said to release her shikai. She kept dodging attacks as best she could . Hoshi held her shikai in her hand the way that the fog would be released. Hoshi knew she had to keep moving so she wouldn't get hit. This was much different than the match with Captain Hitsugaya .

Tatsuki glared at Toushiro as she narrowly dodged an Ice Dragon, the only reason her skin wasn't frozen solid was due to the heat coming from her blade and also breathing fast. The fact that Toushiro was throwing factual insults at her as well during the fight

Matsumoto kept up the attacks on Hoshi, wanting to see if the girl could produce her fog while being on the move.

Hoshi had to find a way to produce the fog from her shikai . She held it in front of her in both hands as she moved . She could see the fog come out and surround her. Hoshi knew she had to keep moving in the fog to avoid being hit. This was difficult since she had never moved while in the fog. She knew the duplicates were standing in one spot since she had seen one while moving. She blocked another hit as she kept moving .

Hoshi knew that the duplicates were almost defeated. She had to keep moving , even if she did feel like she needed to stop, Hoshi knew she couldn't .

The end of the round came and Hoshi stopped to catch her breath before her and Tatsuki were to meet with the two Shinigami.Hoshi knew she had to improve but was at a loss on how she could do that.

"You two are pretty good for greenhorns, even if we were holding back. However, there are still flaws that both of you have," Toushiro said, but before anyone could comment, he continued. "But that's what we're here for. For the rest of the day both Matsumoto and I will help you overcome a few flaws in your fighting style." Toushiro said.

Ichigo was following the reiatsu trail of Rukia, knowing when he sensed her unique version of reiatsu a fair distance away from everyone else. He followed it until he saw a passed out Rukia. "Rukia!" He exclaimed in concern and worry. He leaned down and noticed that she didn't have any wounds, so the only conclusion he could come up with was if she was training very hard.

Hoshi understood she had flaws ,but didn't know what they were. She just did what she remembered from the training last Saturday. She was ready to improve. She also hoped Rukia was alright , since she sensed her , but hadn't seen her.

Rukia slowly woke up in pain, making a mental note not to use her bankai for that amount of time ever again. She had wanted to see how long she could hold it before it unraveled on itself. She didn't know that the side effects of testing her limits would be this taxing.

Tatsuki listened to both the captain and lieutenant list off her flaws in battle and she thought of ways to correct them.

Hoshi listened also about her flaws in battle , she thought of ways to correct most of them . There were still some that puzzled her though. She wondered how she would be able to move fast without making noise. She wondered if she should ask if there was a way to move faster .
