"You should have called me. Is everyone alright?" he asked.

" They are. Just a bit shaken that's all." Yuzu said still not sure if she should say anything about her powers. She really didn't want her life to change any faster than it already was.

"Alright," Ichigo said before ruffling her hair lightly. "But let me know if you do need any help, alright?" he asked.

" I will." Ichi-nii? What would happen if my powers got stronger?" Yuzu asked and had often wondered if she was more like her mom or like her dad. She didn't want to be a fighter, and had dreams of one day becoming a nurse.

"You'll learn how to control them. After that, it's up to you on how you want to use them...either mom's or dad's power," Ichigo replied. "Why do you ask?"

" I think my powers are getting stronger. I can see spirits clearer and sense them better than I use to. " Yuzu said feeling nervous.

"And because of that, you're worried that you're going to be a target for the Hollows and what not, am I right?" Ichigo asked

Yuzu nodded. " I just wonder who I'm most like. " She said softly.
|
"Don't worry about it Imouto. You'll find out when you find out," he responded. "Though I'm glad to hear you had a good time, minus the Hollow incident."

" I did have fun. What would you like for dinner tonight? I think we have leftovers in the fridge we could have." Yuzu said seeing it was getting to be that time.

"Leftovers are fine," Ichigo replied. "Besides, I think dad said he would be out talking to Ryuken," he added.

Yuzu nodded and started to get the leftovers out for supper. She just had a feeling somehow she would be learning about what her powers might be.
Isshin had a feeling Ryuuken would be able to help him concerning Yuzu's powers. He knew she was close to them appearing but he had a feeling Yuzu was more like her mother. |
"You wanted to talk to me Isshin?" Ryuken asked as the man stood on his doorsteps.

"Yes I do. I didn't tell you on the phone why though. It's about my youngest child Yuzu. I can sense that any day she's going to unlock her powers and I have a feeling hers are more like Misaki's than mine. " Isshin said.

"It would make sense, especially with what she's like. Do you want me to train her if she does indeed inherit Misaki-chan's powers?"
|
" I would grateful if you would. I also know she's interested in a medical career. " Isshin said with a grin.

Ryuken chuckled lightly. "Are you sure she's your child," he joked.

" I'm sure she is , but I've always known Yuzu was the most like her mom. Always helping out and wanting to help others. I almost wonder if her powers could be healing based as well. " Isshin said.

"I was just teasing you old friend. And it's entirely possible. It's rare for a Quincy to specialize in just healing alone, but it has happened once or twice in the past," Ryuken said.

Isshin nodded. " We'll just have to wait and see what happens. I know my niece Naomi said she might be able to help if Yuzu turned out to be an elemental Quincy. Though she's in Yokohama visiting her family at the moment." Isshin said.

"Right. All we can do is wait and see what happens. Until then, can you keep me updated? I know you'll let your niece and parent-in-laws will also be informed," Ryuken said.

" I will keep you updated. Though that might happen sooner than we realize. " Isshin said sensing the air getting colder.

"Relax, it's just me Isshin-Taichou" Toushiro responded.

" I apologize Toshiro-san. Been on edge all day. " Isshin said and was telling the truth. He was concerned that Kusaka would start targeting Karin and Yuzu, just because he had been captain of squad 10 at that time.

"I understand Isshin-taichou," Toshiro replied. He had gotten to know both girls and found them both to be good company. Though no one would understand just how the two of them were sisters if you didn't already know the fact.
