"I'm not going to yell at you, but why did you want to learn Bankai?" Ichigo asked, not knowing about what was going on, or what was going to happen in the future.

" I just want to be ready in case I have to help fight a powerful enemy. " She couldn't tell Ichigo that she was going to help Rukia find out who wanted to hurt him.She hoped that his powers would be back soon . She sensed they were much stronger than yesterday. " I'm sorry about being irresponsible . I know school always comes first. I won't skip again, I promise." She said solemly after a long silence.

Ichigo understood why she wanted to get powerful, but he didn't know the full story. "You don't have to apologize to me Star-chan. Besides, who knows when it comes to saving the world, I think you can skip at least one day of school," Ichigo said before asking if she wantd a copy of his notes and the homework that she was suppose to do.

" I would please. Thank you for offering. I'll still be able train with you tomorrow. " Hoshi said feeling tired again.

Ichigo handed a copy of his notes over to Hoshi and nodded. "I'll hold you to that you know," he said jokingly. He notice her yawning and asked if she was sleeping well.

" I've been sleeping okay. I get tired sometimes after training. I'll be alright." Hoshi said as she grabbed the notes and homework ." Thank you again for the notes Ichigo." She said with a smile .

"No problem," Ichigo replied, still worried about Hoshi, but left it alone, knowing she would tell him if it was starting to bother her. "I'll see you tomorrow then," Ichigo replied, before he headed over to Tatsuki's place, hoping that she was feeling better by now.

Hoshi waved goodbye to Ichigo and started her homework. Tetsu came home an hour later and made dinner. Hoshi went to bed soon afterward . She had to be rested for tomorrow and had her guard up as she slept. Hoshi woke up the next morning and got ready for the day . She didn't have to be at Urahara's till noon.

Ichigo headed over to Tatsuki's house and saw that she was feeling much better, which Ichigo was glad to see. After giving her another set of the homework and notes to the dragon-named girl, Tatsuki thanked him. He then returned home himself.

It was 11:30 and Hoshi left for Urahara's . She said goodbye to her dad and left the house. She had her phone with her and had messaged Ichigo that she would meet him there. She arrived there and waited for Ichigo. She wondered where Rukia was staying while she was here

Tatsuki woke up feeling refreshed and glad that her fever finally broke. She did not, however, know about the secret visitor that came to her during that night, nor the danger that she would be in. "Ryu-kun...can I start Bankai training?" Tatsuki asked as her sword spirit sent her a positive response.
"After you get caught up in your studies. I don't want my hatchling to get behind. After that, then we can start Bankai training" Ichigo closed the door behind him as he headed over to Urahara's place, hoping that he would regain his shinigami form today or in the very near future. |
Hoshi saw Ichigo and waved . She was glad he had made it safely here. " Hi Ichigo. Ready to head on in? " Hoshi said with a smile.

Ichigo waved back when he saw Hoshi and nodded. "Ready," he said as they both headed into the store. If Ichigo was paying attention, he would have noticed Rukia's reiatsu signature as well.

" It's good to see the both of you. Today I'm going to have you both be in the training area today." Urahara said leading Ichigo and Hoshi in that direction. He knew that Rukia wanted to remain hidden a little longer and wasn't down there. He knew that today there was a very good chance that Ichigo would regain his shinigami abilities.
" I'll let you go first Ichigo. " Hoshi said. She now knew Rukia was here and would keep the promise she had made to her friend. |
Ichigo nodded to both Urahara and Hoshi before descending the ladder and heading off to the side to make room for both Hoshi and Urahara to come down the ladder.

Hoshi went down after Ichigo did and Urahara soon followed. " We'll do the same as Tuesday , but in longer intervals. Each session will be 40 minutes each." He said. " Are you both ready to start?
Hoshi nodded and got in her spirit form, ready to begin. |
Ichigo nodded as well and prepared himself for the influx of spiritual energy.

Hoshi focused on Ichigo and sent a steady stream of spirit energy toward him . She continued this until the 40 minutes were up and rested a little before the next session began.

Ichigo felt stronger after the forty minutes passed.

After they had rested a little while, the next session started. Hoshi focused on Ichigo, again sending an even stream of spirit energy to him .

After the second session ended, Ichigo felt stronger, as if he could at least go back into a spiritual form without risking his physical body.

"I'm thinking one more session for today." Urahara said , sensing a large increase in Ichigo's spiritual pressure. He knew that was a sign that Ichigo was reacting well . " I'll let the two of you rest for a while . Ichigo are you able to see Hoshi while she's in her Shinigami form?" Urahara had the feeling Ichigo was able to, but wanted to be sure .
Hoshi rested again and hoped Ichigo could see her in this form. From what she sensed, he was much stronger today than he was when the training started. |
Ichigo focused for a little bit before he started seeing Hoshi while she was in her shinigami form. "I can see her," he said with a small smirk.

" That's good . I'll be back in a few minutes and then we can start the final session for the day." Urahara said , then left . He was glad that Ichigo was responding this quickly.
Hoshi smiled a little when Ichigo said he could see her. She started again to release a steady stream of spirit energy toward Ichigo after Urahara came back . |
After the final session ended, Ichigo felt stronger, and thought he heard Zangetsu's voice for the first time in a year. Zangetsu?" Ichigo asked with a little hope in the thought.
