Ever Since My Best Friends Death I Have Had A Tough Time Getting Close To People. It Seems That When I Do They Leave. It Gets Hard For Me Sometimes, Because I Make Myself Not Get Close With People And I Lose My Boyfriends and Friends The Moment I Do. It's Not Really Their Faults, It's More Mine. I Can't Keep The Thought That Charlie's Death Was Due To Me Getting To Close Then Pushing Him Away... He Left Me Letter's That I Cry Whenever I See/Read Them.

Now There Is This Guy I Really Like We Have Been Friends ForEver And I'm A Little Close To Him But Im Afraid To Get Any Closer...
I Dont Know What To Do...

Never be afraid to get close to people, especially proven friends. Just think of everything you could miss by not getting close to people. Make connections, but keep your mind away from thinking "what if it goes wrong?" Just don't think about it. Enjoy it. Basically, what Gary said. :D

Sorry for your loss. It's tough to lose people we care about, and it often seems weird when we try to make those connections again--I know. But, getting close to someone might be good for you. You sound like quite a young person yet--don't fret so much over past relationships/friendships. There's no need to concern yourself with "is this person going to be with me for the long haul" or whatever the hang-up is--just enjoy being with people you like, that's all that's important right now!

You're right. I'm still quiet young. 16 to be exact. And yes I guess you are right I shouldn't really be focused on "is this person going to around forever." I'm often told "in due tim you will find out who your true friends are." I've came to find out that not everyone will stand beside you in time of need, even if you were there everytime they needed someone. But being with them when they need you shows them that you care.. So I'm going to try getting close to this guy...
