Dante heard her and lowered his head "im sorry to hear about your husband" all of a sudden it felt wrong to be loving her, they couldn't go out, it would be wrong "i truely am sorry" he said as he looked away, he felt a sudden wave of disbelife that he could have been so stupid, he had been trying to go for a widow

"No... no please don't worry about that... I'm okay... I want to move on... I want to love you... and I do... I do love you, allot..." Karuku said softly as she tugged on his hand a bit wanting him to turn so she could see him and talk to him... and hug or kiss him... she didn't like him being upset or distressed and she could tell he was a bit of both.

Dante felt a deep sorrow but he turned to her and nodded "well... we could... try and be together" he said as sat down next to her smiling a bit "but its just... i will probably die before you, and i dont want to put you through it again" he said looking down "plus im nowhere near old enough for you, im still a child"

Karuku wrapped her arms around him as she listened to him and frowned when he said he would die before her and she felt it was true. "You're only in your twenties.... and I'm not going to get any younger... I will always be older then you but do you really thing that there will ever be another guy out there that might have even a little bit of feelings for someone like me and be even remotely close to my age? I was lucky to have one man love me, I'm blessed to have another years later..." she said softly as she rested her head on him though watched him wanting to know what he thought and hoped that he changed his mind about the 'not being able to be together' thing.

Dante smiled at he a bit as she leaned on him and nodded "ok... i will give this a shot" he said sighing a bit looking around "just remember to never let me near blood, if i taste blood then lock me up" ha said chuckling "thats the only thing you must remember about me"

Karuku smiled some and nodded then smirked slight nodding again a bit. "I agree about that... don't worry, I won't let you taste blood again... you just gotta remember not to bite down so hard." she said softly though smiled a bit at him as she leaned up at kissed him softly and lovingly on the lips.

Dante smiled and nodded "it will be a while until i start doing sexual things again" he said chuckling and kissed her back when she kissed him "may i ask... what makes you more interested in me?" he asked smiling a bit "im just curious" he said kissing her softly again to show he loved her alot

"Well... I really don't plan on sleep with either of the other two guys on the ship... You know I need that at least once every week... at the most two weeks." Karuku reminded him softly and wanted to make sure that he knew that she didn't want the other guys... just him. "What do you mean? What do I see in you that I like more then the others? Well.... you're kind, caring, sweet, you love me, you're protective, you'll do anything for me... I think that might be the easiest ones that I can come up with though those are some of the things I like most about you and quite a bit of them the other two guys on the ship don't have." she said softly though smiled at him lovingly as she kissed him back

Dante smiled and listened to her, it was official, she did love him and only him "wow... you really do love me" he said as he smiled greatly "thats amazing" he said as he kissed her deeply and lovenly to show his affection and love for her, he never thought that he could ever get a girlfriend as great as Karuku

Karuku smiled some hugging him close. "Of course I do... I don't see who wouldn't love you... but I especially do." she smiled some kissing him back just as deep and unknowingly pressing herself up against him though wasn't trying to be seductive at all... it was just her nature and she did it without thinking half the time.

Dante smiled and felt her pressing up against him "now thats one thing i love about you, its also funny" he said giggling a bit "i just love the fact you seduce me without even trying or knowing about it" he said kissing her again "we should go get something to eat" he said smiling

Karuku blinked some not knowing what he was talking about then blushed some and smiled at him a bit. "Well at least I know you love it even though I don't try" she smiled some kissing him again softly then listened to him a bit and nodded some. "Okay." she said softly as she sat up carefully and smiled at him some waiting for him to get up so she could as well.

Jake nuzzled into her chest a bit more while hugging her then go up while smiling "okie dokie" he said as he stood up and helped her up "but it will still feel awkward with all the others watching us two" he chuckled a bit then shrugged "but as long as they see our love for each other i will be fine"

"They won't mind... they liked it last time since they said I was nicer" Karuku laughed some and wrapped her arm around him to keep herself steady on her feet. She was still a bit wobbly from loosing blood though she was okay to stand and walk with a bit of help.

Dante nodded and smiled, when she wrapped her arm around her he put his arm around her to help her balance "ok, i will help you any way i can" he said as he chuckled a bit and looked into her eyes "i could carry you, you might need all the strength you can get" he said as he got ready to pick her up if she wanted to be carried

Karuku smiled and blushed slightly though shook her head. "No not unless you want to though I'm okay to walk." she smiled some as she leaned against him looking up at him with a smile and kissed his cheek slightly lovingly.

Dante nodded and smiled "ah ok then, i would but i suppose you better walk or i will hit your head by accident" he said as he took a step forward and aloud her to take a step forward too "lets do this like in a three legged race"

Karuku smirked slightly as she took a step forward then moved a bit more and didn't seem to want to walk slow. "Come on! Let's not go slow! Slow's boring!" she laughed some tugging on him a bit to walk a little faster with her though didn't want to walk far ahead of him since she was having some difficulties.

Dante smiled and nodded "ok then, slow its not" he said as he picked up the pace and walked her speed "but dont over do yourself ok?" he asked kissing her as they walked down the hallway "if we are going to fast?"

"I'm fine." Karuku smiled some then tugged him to one side of the hall where there was a door just a few paces ahead. In the mess hall there was about half the crew that were chatting lightly. "Hey Vix, Dante," Doku greated the two grinning at the nick name for Karuku. She smirked slightly then tugged Dante to the seat next to Shishi. "How are you feeling Mistress?" Shishi asked and Karuku smiled at her. "I'm feeling allot better thank you" she smiled some and the girl smiled and nodded a bit. "How are you feeling Dante?" Shishi asked as she looked over at him and smiled at him kindly.

Dante smiled and nodded to Doku in reply chuckling a bit, he listened to the two females talking while he sat down and smiled a at Shishi "i am feeling brilliant" he said as he looked back at Karuku "especial now i know Karuku will be ok"

Shishi and Doku smiled as they looked at the two and Karuku smiled some back at them and they seemed to know and be okay with what was going on and how their captain had fallen for the male they were sitting with. They then looked up as Kaze walked in with three large plates all balanced on his arms and all filled to the top with food. He sat the plates down carefully then smiled some happily. "DIG IN! I'll be back with water and tea in a minute" he smiled and rushed back into the kitchen and soon came back out with a picture or water then another of ice tea and some sugar.
