My family's never been religious. My mom was good when she actually attended her NA and AA meetings but after she stopped she just got stupid again. She tried to drag me to different churches and I hated it. She let the Mormons come over all the time.

I understand that completely. It's like when my brother was using (god knows what) and was ruining his life, stealing from us, lying, etc. I loved him, but I really did NOT like him. Especially when he nearly cracked my skull chucking a remote at my head. Man. that sucked.

And it is funny, cause now my grandpa is the sweetest, and he loves his grandkids. He just used to be very uptight about religion and life.

Yeah, my mom's done some stupid shit that I can't fathom even more now that I have my own kid. Like, she use to disappear for months at a time just leaving us with whoever was available at the time. How could you do that to your kids? She let a lot of fucked up people around me and my brothers as well.
