I didn't even know it was a book. Lol. Is the book better?

I read Behind the Painted Veil then watched the movie. I couldn't believe how different the endings were. I enjoyed both equally, though.

Alice Hoffman wrote the book first, and it was different, but i wouldn't say better in my opinion... i like them both equally i think
there were some really noticeable changes, like instead of roses growing like crazy, it was lilacs... and jilly's hair was short, like boy short, and blonde... you also learn more about sally's kids cause they are teenagers in the book and have more of a part in the story

It's a good read and watch. If you get the chance I recommend it.

I am trying to read The Four Stages of Cruelty at the moment but it moves along slowly.

i am in the middle of a book, well, not really the middle... it's almost the end now, but then i have to start harry potter and the goblet of fire! i've read the whole series before but only once so i'm making a second trip through :P

never heard of the book you're reading now... and slow moving huh? yikes... that's not good, i'd get bored
