A silent gasp of astonishment left Mathias as Takeo dragged him towards the stage. This hadn't been in his plans at all! Mathias was terrified of embarrassing himself. It was strange, how many little fears plagued the shinobi. Luckily, he hid them well even as Takeo was signing them up for the contest. Then it was too late. "Takeo and Mathias, get up here you two!" The exuberant mike wielding woman pulled the two up and snapped a CD into place. "Alright guys, now enjoy yourselves!"

Her chuckling sounded maniacal t0 Mathias as he heard the first strands of music. Not that song! Singing something like that with someone he barely knew... PLus his stage fight! Mathias paled visibly as he tried to find some way out of the situation.

Takeo gladly went up on the stage, taking Mathias with him. Though he could tell the other was nervous. It was his own fault though for mentioning signing up for this thing. Now he was stuck doing it.

When the song started, he instantly began, his voice breaking a bit at first before he got the hang of it.
