Things you NEVER got to use.

Alright, soooooo..

Things you've never got to use.
Like, LAST YEAR, my Mother bought me this iron-on picture of an electric guitar you can iron on to a t-shirt. I was really excited when I got it, I told my Mom I wanted to put it onto the shirt next week.
And she's all like, "Alright! We'll do it."
So I got all excited about it. And guess what? We still haven't got to do it.
It's just been sitting on our entertainment center in our livingroom for almost over a YEAR now.

So...has this happened with anything with anybody else here?
And does it like..STRESS YOU OUT? >>

Sir D . L O Van Lobsters 06-10-2011 05:52 PM

Just put it on yourself, lol. I've never ironed something on a t-shirt, but it doesn't seem that hard.

I don't buy stuff I won't use, so no, that hasn't happened to me.
However, I do see a lot of the stuff my aunt and uncle buy just sit around.
And THAT drives me crazy. x___X;

It's gotten better since we've moved but it's still pretty awful sometimes.

And I agree with Sir D. I'd just do it myself at this point. xP

not really, more broken promises.
My mom, man I love her, has a bad habit of promising me things and not being able to follow through. It doesn't help that I'm the youngest of 3 children, and my older sister and brother always seem to need her.

Most things that she had promised to teach me how to do, I just started teaching myself by watching others and google. Thankfully I've gotten to the point that whenever she promises me something, I just figure out how to do it on my own. That way if she manages to keep her promise- excellent. If not, well I learn how to do it myself.

My mum bought me these little lady-bug beads when I was like 11(?). LOVED THEM.
She told me that she would help me put them on a bracelet within the week.
I'm 15 now and they are still sitting in a box in my room with the elastic.
Shame...

I never got to use my video game on my family's new flat-screen television. The reason for that is during our move to the east, the movers either lost or stole the thing. So now I'm nagging my dad to file a report so we can get a new tv so that I can play my game.

I sometimes buy clothes online, and when they come, either they don't look the way I expected them to, or they don't fit. Then, I'm too lazy to return them, so they end up sitting around unworn.

Maaan, I do it a LOT.

I bought a tattoo gun and everything for it.."ALRIGHT! I'm going to do tattoos!"
Still in it's original package, I used the ink though cause it goes bad after a while.
But I rather get a degree in art and then tattoo people..
Lots of unused art supplies..like i have probably 3 boxes full of montana spray cans.
Full. Mostly because I've been doing slaps instead of murals, tags, ect. :s

What else..food. I'm horrible with buying food and then not eating it.
I forget about it most of the time.."Oh! I bought soy milk?..." a couple of months after I bought it. xD;

I have horrible short term memory, apparently. Lol.

I forget I buy eggs sometimes. They just get pushed to the back of the fridge then when everything is almost gone they reappear. They're normally the last things I eat although I do love eggs.

I have a portible paper cutter that I have yet to find a use for and a few CDs and DVDs I've had for a while and have not used yet.

All the time. I was going to make some strawberry earrings from the English version of the Gothic & Lolita magazine but never got around to it. I also wanted to make things out of felt. I bought a felties kit and book Aranzi Cute Stuff. It is collecting dust in my bedroom. http://s1101.photobucket.com/albums/g435/aemiliarose/

I'm going to make the earrings this summer.

Let's see.
My mother has bought many things we haven't used yet. About a year ago she wanted to begin sewing I guess, so she bought a sewing machine. it's really nice, but she never used it. D:
So I took it into my room, planning to use it, and she doesn't even know where the power cord is. It's been in my room for months, and no sign of the cord.

Yeeah. See. This happens with me a lot. ;c

It's like how I haven't got around to properly making something with the sewing machine I got a while ago.
It's still just sitting there. ^^"

I have a whole lot of pretty note books which I've yet to use because I've been uninspired to write anything meaningful or worth keeping.

I also know someone who as a child won a t-shirt, and he was so happy about it that he never wore the t-shirt and now that he's grown up, of course its now too small.

I got an iPod Shuffle and put some music on it. The battery was fully loaded, it had 4 GB with music on it and I took it with me to this music festival that was 3 days long... We were staying there at a camping and I laid it in my tent. I went to do a couple of things and, when I got back, I found out there was some water in my tent after some rain and the the iPod didn't had swimming lessons yet ;c;

Kalium 06-18-2011 07:37 PM

I bought this dark green eyeshadow once. Never got around to using it. My sister also bought some stick foundation, but she didn't like how it looked on her skin, so she gave it to me. I would use it if its shade wasn't too dark for me (I have very light skin)

Cat Eye 06-20-2011 02:29 PM

The only times stuff like that has happened is when people steal that item from me. So I never get the chance to use it at all.

Does that count?

Idiot Savant 06-21-2011 12:49 AM

I do that all the time. Usually, someone comments on how they like it and I let them have it since I haven't bothered to use it.

Ashlyn Mae 06-22-2011 03:42 AM

I have many things I or my roomate bought, but we haven't gotten around to doing it. Like small crafts and other small projects of that nature. Gotta clean out all these drawers one day to see what we can actually do with the stuff we've been hoarding.

Cherry Who? 06-22-2011 05:59 AM

I never buy something I don't have the intention to use, but sometimes something that's great in the store just... doesn't work out at home. I bought this really cute black cross-body bag with a gold lion head on it. It's really awesome, and I have no idea why I've never used it. I also bought a canvas with the intention of painting something. I've not yet mustered up the courage to put paint on it ("I'll mess it up!" Nevermind the fact that I know full well that I can just paint over it with white if I mess up). It sits blank in my closet.

WinglessFairy 06-22-2011 02:45 PM

Well, There's quite a lot of fabric sitting in my closet waiting for me to utilize it...
and quite a ton of comic ideas sitting in my head and rotting ._.
