Blood+ : Saya's Rising [Haruki & Bellinda]

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The sun was about ready to set over Okinawa as Haji made his way to the Otonashi's family grave. It was almost time for Saya's awakening and he wanted to be there this time. The years had pasted by and he had nothing other than to heal his wounds from the last battle. While he had taken on major damage they had all healed. He had spent some of his time in Paris and various other countries over the years, but he wanted nothing more than to be by Saya's side again. He opened the crypt and walked in to see Saya in her cocoon type state. "Saya...." He said as he walked up and placed his hand on it. It was almost time for her to awaken. He could feel it. |
Saya finally wakes after being asleep for thirty years. As now so much rush to her mind about the last moments before she felt asleep after killing her sister, Diva. And she wanted to end her life as well but her chevalier, Haji didn't want to do that. He wanted her to stay alive for him. Soon after that he was attack by the last chevalier that she knew who belong to Diva. She had watch it go down before that was the last time she saw. So she didn't even knew if Haji was even alive. Once she woke up and sence Haji's pressence she knew. The coccon breaks open and Saya would falling out her hair would cover her seeing how long it was again for being sleep for so long.

The cocoon broke open and Saya tumbled out of it. Haji rushed over to catch her before she fell to the ground. He held her in his arms. "Saya, are you awake?" He asked softly as he looked down at her. Her hair had gown in her slumber and he brushed it away from her face and looked down at her. He smiled at her. It had been so long since either of them had seen each other and they had parted on such a bad note.

Saya felt Haji catching her before she even hit the ground. She opens her eyes and looks up at Haji. It took a few mins for her eyes to focus before she clearly saw his face. She would smiles and nods her head as she knew she wouldn't be able to talk for an while or even walk being asleep for so long. It would take time for her to recover from her long nap.

Haji smiled as he picked her up and carried her out of the crypt. He didn't know where to take her. The thought of taking her to Kai was there, but he would likely panic a bit at the sight of sight of Saya like this. He wasn't as young as he once was and he wouldn't need the shock. He could take her to him once she was fully awake. Haji carried her across buildings to the beach that she loved with reef. He held her in his lap as he sat down on the sand. "You can rest for now Saya." He said softly knowing she must have been tired still.

Saya felt Haji picking her up and carrying her out of the crypt. As the sun felt good on her seeing how long she had missed and she closes her eyes not used to the light either. She was just glad Haji was alive as part of her knew Haji was alive. Even when she was asleep and he visits she could feel him there. Saya sighs gently leans against him before noticing where she was. Its been so long she see reef. She clears her throat abit "Be..beautiful." says slowly her voice was horse.

Haji looked down at Saya as she tried to speak and he smiled at her. "Yes, it's beautiful." He said as he looked up at the reef. He brushed her hair out of her face again and took off his coat and placed it on her. He didn't want her to get cold while she was out here. Then there was the fact that if people passed they would see that she wasn't wearing any clothes and there might be a scene. "Now, rest Saya. It will be here when you wake up." He said softly to her.

Saya smiles and relaxes felt Haji's hand brush agaisnt her face to push back her hair. Once she had Haji's coat on which was nice cause she surely didn't want to get people an show since she didn't have no clothes on at the time. She heard him to say she should rest which would be best but of course with her it wouldn't take long for her to get back on her feet. She wonder how things was since she sure it was different since she been asleep. But first she just need time to rest and everything she would find out later. She closes her eyes and falls asleep in her chevalier's arms.

Haji smiled softly down at Saya when he finally felt her fall asleep. He himself could not sleep, but he was content with watching Saya sleep peacefully. He picked her up gently and set her down against the cement steps. He pulled out his cello from it's coffin shaped case. He began to play the song that Saya had taught him all those years ago.

Hearing the music that Haji was playing was helping alot in her recovery. She would sleep thru the whole song after being set down beside him on the cement steps. The sun would start setting by the time Saya woke up in time to watch it. Opening her eyes and seeing the glow of the sun going down. As she missed watching the sun go down like that. She turns over being careful not to pull Haji's coat off of her. Saya looks up at Haji and smiles, just staring at him. "Haji...I am happy to see you are alive."

Haji saw Saya begin to move and he stopped playing his cello. He couldn't help, but give her a soft smile when she looked up at him. "I will always be by your side, Saya." He said as he place his cello to the side and reached out to place his hand on her cheek. He would never leave her side, no matter what. He belonged with her and he would protect her no matter the cost.

Saya nuzzles Haji's hand that was on her cheek. It was so nice to feel his touch again. She slowly sits herself up and folds her legs under herself. Saya thinks about things and the first thing that came to mind was Kai and the children. As the last time she saw the kids was when they was hatching out from their sacks. She knew Kai would be much older now probbly around his 40s or 50s. "Can we go see Kai?"

Haji took his hand from her cheek and began to put his cello in its case and he latched it. "Of course." He said as he looked back at her with a smile. He stood up and placed the case on his back. He held out a hand for Saya. He would carry her their because they were some distance away, but was still wearing only his coat and he doubt she wanted to walk around like that.

Saya watches him and was happy he would. As she wanted to see Kai and see how everything was but knew things was bound to be different being sleep for so long. She takes his hand and stands up as her legs was still somewhat weak but standing was an good sign that her strenght was returning. She allow Haji carry her since she wasn't sure of Kai still lived in the same place or was different. Surely she figure Haji had been keeping up with Kai some even thought he tends to keep his distance away from others while she been asleep.

Haji carried Saya effortlessly to the house Kai was living in. It was the same house that they had raised Saya in while she had last been awake. Kai didn't want to give up his families shop and he took over his fathers post. Haji gently set Saya down in front of the shop and waited to see what she would do.

Saya get set down front of the door. She stares at it before she looks over at Haji "I bet he will be surpised." says before she looks to the door. She didn't know if she should wake in or just knock. She carefully knocks gently on the door before she opens the door slowly. "Hello? Kai?" calls out. She heard some rushing behind the counter. Right away she sence something was wrong. Saya runs over behind the counter seeing Kai was tied up and gag. "Kai!!" moves over and bents down and undoes the gag from his mouth.

Haji followed Saya in, but he too could sense that something was wrong inside the house. He walked over to where Saya was helping Kai and he pulled out one of his daggers to have in case something went wrong. He looked down at Kai. "What happened?" He asked as he scanned the room with his eyes.

Kai looks at Saya and blinks "Your awake.." looking over to Haji while Saya had untied him and helped him up. "I don't know some guy says he was Diva's chevailer attacked me and kidnapped the twins." Saya blinks for an moment "I didn't know Diva had another chevalier. This isn't good..." looking over at Haji and sighs gently. "If that chevalier is really Diva's then he is going to used those girls to make more chiropteras" as she thought this time when she woke up there would be peace but she was wrong.

Haji listened to Kai speak, but what he was saying didn't make much sense. he knew of no other Chevaliers. He was sure they had killed all of her Chevaliers the last time she had been wake. "Are you sure they were, Diva's?" He asked wanting to make no mistakes. He didn't want Saya to run off and fight again, but he would follow her anywhere she wished to go. "Did he tell you anything else?"
The remaining members that were still alive were options to go to for information, but if he himself didn't know then he was almost positive that they would know nothing. |
Kai looks at them and shakes his head "No nothing else I don't think. He just told me that it was time for Saya to wake up. That he would be waiting for revenge for his queen's death. He did give me an name. Aidan Faven but other than that nothing else." He struggles to get up as he held onto the counter. Saya listens as he couldn't believe she was forced to fight again. She hated it very much and knew Haji was aware of her feelings. She stares down and sighs "If I had killed the twins then this..." Kai stops her and shakes his head "No don't say that...you had ever right not to kill them because they are also Riku's." Clearly Kai was right but it didn't make this sound better. "Well looks like I don't have much choice..get the twins back before this person uses them to make more monsters. But this time we won't have the companys back." Of course she also knew not all the people that she would was there anymore. They would most likely be all dead by now. And she wasn't about to get back in touch in them if they try to contact her.

Haji knew of no other Chevalier that belonged to Diva. As far as he knew they had all been killed by himself and Saya at the last battle. That would mean that one had to have stayed hidden while Diva had died. Could it have been an order from Diva? He didn't like that Saya thought it was partially her fault for not killing Diva's twins. "Kai is right, don't regret your decision." Haji said. He didn't want her to think she had done the wrong thing by saving the girls. Because she hadn't done the wrong thing. "Saya...I follow you where ever you go." He said because he truly would follow her no matter her decision. He knew that her wish was to stop any chiropteran from harming humans.

Saya looks over at Haji and smiles some and nods. "Alright we should head..." Kai would stop her and chuckles as he shakes his head "Not dress like that your not. And plus should you...uhh you know..feed or something.." look at Haji then back to Saya. "I'll get you some clothes." grabbing his cane as he couldn't walk well without it now. Also knew he wouldn't be able to go with them this time seeing it was old and all he could do was holding them back. Saya watches Kai leave to get her some clothes "I see he hasn't change much." giggles gently.

Haji realized that what Kai said was true. Saya couldn't just walk around in his coat. Well, it wasn't like he was going to let her once he again noticed that was all she was wearing. He watched as Kai went to leave and turned his attention back to Saya. "Saya, if you need to feed go a head, I don't mind." He would never mind if it was something for Saya. He wanted to be with her forever and he never regretted that choice.

Saya nods knew it was very long time since she feed from her chevalier. It was the only way she would have strenght she needed cause since she was chiroptera she needed blood. And of course it would had to be Haji as he was the only other person she wanted to feed from. Saya steps closer and pulls where she could reach his neck before biting her fangs into them once they shown themselfs and begans to feed from Haji.

Haji didn't mind feeding Saya and he knew that she wouldn't go out and feed on someone. She just wasn't like that. He leaned down a bit so she wouldn't have to reach as far. He wrapped his arms around her lightly.
