Jaxon quietly began eating after Farron did he wasn't able to finish it all thought seeing ass there ws a great amount of food that had been brought out to them. He just hoped that there was no more so that he could leave soon, when he finished all that he could he looked out the window again and sat there staring out at it. After staring out at it for a bit he looked at the other people in the room who al just seemed to be waiting for something to do, there were a few of them and he thought that it would be better then looking at Farron or his parents. When he was done watching the other people he looked back down at the table to wait for the others to finish and hopefully for Farron to say that they could leave.
Farron continued to eat quietly, thinking that this was the last course. This also meant that he would politely excuse himself and Jaxon when they were both done. Maybe he would take the other into town, he did have to get clothes for the other male that fit him. After all he wasn't going to wear Farron's own clothing while he stayed in the manor home. Finishing the rest of his meal he cleared his throat a little bit as he said,"Father, I do not wish to speak out of turn or to interrupt your breakfast, but I will be heading out with Jaxon to obtain clothes of his own." His father looked up from his meal and nodded his head before going back to it. Turning to Jaxon he said,"Come on we're allowed to go now." He pushed himself out of his chair and then began walking briskly towards the door before his father could say anything that would keep either of them there.
Jaxon was sitting quietly and when he heard Farron clear his throat and start talking he looked up slightly and saw that he was done. He was listening to what Farron was saying and was suprised when he said that he was going to get new clothes, he had never really been out of the slave trading market and there they didn't really care what they wore. Meaning he never really went clothes shopping before. When Farron looked over at him he lowered his gaze and then listened to him say that they could leave, after he had stood up Jaxon stood up and followed after him. He was glad that they could leave and then he would feel a little less out of place now. When they reached the doors he waited for Faroon to leave first then followed him into the hall.
Farron was glad the two of them were able to leave the room without much incident. He really didn't want to deal with his over calculating father and his doting mother this early in the morning. Walking towards the front of the manor home a butler came up to them. The two of them whispered a little bit, and he told him that he wanted two horses saddled and ready to go. The butler nodded and then left through the entrance to go to the stables. The horses would be brought to the front when they were done being saddled and bridled. There wasn't really much for the two of them that could be done until that time. Farron went to go and sit on the marble stairs that led to the upper part of the manor. Sitting down he motioned for the other to join him next to him.
Jaxon followed Farron towards the front doors of the manor but was slightly behind him, when a butler came up to Farron and started talking to Farron in a whisper Jaxon just stayed back and out of it. Once they were done he watched at teh butler left then turned to see Farron sitting on the steps waiting for him to sit beside him. He walked over to him then sat down beside him then just looked at the ground, he had no idea what was going on but it was better then sitting in the dinning hall with his parents. He kept quiet and was going to wait until Farron told him what they were going to do today besides go clothes shopping for him. He smiled slightly at this knowing that he would be away from the manor and that he would be some what free.
Farron continued to sit on the steps in utter silence. He didn't know what to say the other male. What should he say to the other male. He technically owned him, but he never believed in owning another person. It was something that his father had told him to do, and he did it. It didn't mean that he had to like it. Was it that he obeyed his father out of fear or loyalty? Most certainly it was fear. He had never angered his father before, but he had seen servants anger him once or twice. Needless to say he would never want to be on the receiving end of his father's wrath. As the two of them sat he cleaned his throat, which broke the silence as he said,"So what kind of clothing do you like. Material, colors?" He knew that he was probably grasping at straws, but he wanted to do something that would break the silence.
Jaxon was alright with the scilence at least he didn't have to think of anything to talk about, but when he heard Farron clear his throat and ask a question he looked over at him but made sure that he kept his look down. Knowing that they weren't in Farron's room anyone could see them and possibly hear them and he didn't want to get into any trouble on his first day. He thought about the question for a moment normally he wasn't asked a question like this normally they just gave him clothes and he just had to wear them. He then said "Umm I don't know how to answer the question no body has ever asked me before," he pasued then continued saying "so I have no idea what type of material or colour but I like the colour green but I doubt that wearing it would be a good idea." He had finished talking when he remembered that he had to call him master then said "Sorry master", he then looked back to the floor by the doors to wait.
((Sorry for the way late update. In no way am I bored with this RP, I have just been very busy fitting into a new job situation)).
Farron listened to the other as he continued to sit down on the stairs. He wanted to get out of the manor home as soon as possible in the event that his father came and wanted to talk to him. They played family enough times to know the routine, but if they didn't have to perform for other people to show others that they were the "perfect happy family" they rarely spoke or went out of their way to see each other. Farron listened to Jaxon as he heard him say that he didn't really know how to answer his question. It didn't really surprise him, but he furrowed his brow a little bit when he figured that it would be a rather difficult task to get the other to unwind a little bit, especially if he would be bedding the other male soon. "Well that's a good start," replied Farron. "Green is also my favorite color. Though we will be needing to get you some formal black clothing as well, since you won't be able to wear a lot of green at the court considering that the royal family's colors are Blue and Gold." A butler came up to the two of them and bowed low to them, and told him that the horses were ready for them. Getting to his feet he stretched a little bit as he held out his hand for Jaxon to take. |
{It’s alright I understand completely, just post when you can ;)}
Jaxon sat looking at the floor as Farron was talking and thought about what he said then waited for him to stop talking before he said “What ever you think would be best for around here master.” He had remembered to call him by the proper name and was slightly relived when another man came along that he did. When he saw that he was a butler he looked up slightly but not really enough to notice at him. When he heard that the horses were ready he looked down again thinking ‘does he mean horse back riding? I have never done that before this isn’t going to go over to well.’ He sighed slightly and then looked up again slightly and saw that Farron had stood up and was now holding a hand out. He was slightly confused so he just stood up and continued to look down at the ground. |
((-.-, sorry again. I got things working a little better now that I am 2 weeks ahead in my one class).
Farron looked at the other male and smirked a little bit. He was glad that he didn't have to say anything more about the rules in the household. Jaxon was indeed a fast learner. He could tell though that the other male was a still a little fearful of him, and to that he furrowed his brow in contemplation. Bending down so that he was eye level with the other man, he took his right hand and placed it gently under the other male's chin as he slowly raised it up so that they were looking into each other's eyes. "Jaxon," said Farron. "Never downcast your eyes when we are alone. I want to see your beautiful eyes." He then let go of the other's chin as he got up again and began walking slowly towards the door. He looked at the butler and glared a little bit at the bewildered look that he was receiving from the other. The glare meant that the butler should know his place, and not utter what he had heard to anyone, least not his father. |
{It's alright we all have those times ;) Like right now school is piling up but I am finally back on track after this one post and will hopefully be staying on top of everything from now on}
Jaxon just stood quietly as he waited for Farron to lead the way out he doors and knew that what was comming might not be the best idea really. Since he had never ridden a horse before he knew that it was going to be difficult, he normally walked everywhere that he was told to go so he never really got the chance to learn. When he felt Farron's hand under his chin again brining his eyes up to his Jaxon was slightly supprised since he thought that they were going to be leaving right away. Jaxon just stared at Farron and listened to what he was saying and just nodded in agreeance when he let go. Seeig as he was now walking towards the door Jaxon followed him but his glance was still slightly down out of habit. He hadn't really caught the looks exchanged between the butler and Farron but he knew that something had happened. He kept quiet and followed Farron out the doors, he was glad to be outside again it was a great feeling for him since he never liked to be stuck inside for too long. |
Once outside Farron looked around and saw that there was a stable hand with two sets of reigns in his hand. Walking towards the other male he took the reigns from the other male and then dismissed him. Turning towards Jaxon he motioned for the other male to approach him as he held out the reigns to him. "Here take the reigns. Monique is a docile horse so get to know her a little bit." He hoped that the other male would feel comfortable with handling a horse since that would be the mode of transportation that they would be using the most. He could use the carriage, but then again he loved the wind through his hair as he road in the open air.
Jaxon followed Farron towards the other male and looked at the horses slightly, sighing slightly he looked over at Farron when he held out the reigns to one of the horses and listen to him. Jaxon just looked at the reigns then said “I don’t know I never really learned how to ride a horse before.” He had kept his voice low and just looked at the reigns in Farron’s hand and then looked up at the horse. He thought about what it would be like to ride a horse and then looked slightly back at Farron.
Farron saw the look that the other male had given him, and he let out a small sigh wondering how they would get into the village again. He then thought that it was probably not the best idea for Jaxon to begin learning to ride a horse when he probably had no idea how to. "I guess," started Farron. " We can ride on the same horse, and I can teach how to ride on your own some other time." He motioned for the other male to come towards him as he went into a kneeling position as he cupped his hands together. Hopefully, Jaxon would know to step into his cupped hands so he could get on the horses back.
Jaxon smiled slightly when Farron said that they could ride together, it ment that he wouldn't have try and ride a horse just yet but also that it nigh bejust a bit safer too. Jaxon watched as Farron got ready to help him onto the horse, he knew what he was doing he had seen slaves at the shop doing it for their masters when they left. He stood beside Farron and started saying "But-" when he stopped himself and then placed his foot into Farron's hands and swung the other one over the horses back be got up. He realized how different it felt to be sitting on top of a horse now, he looked down at Farron hoping that he could get on now.
Farron was glad that when the other male was securely on the horse. He was used to riding with people in front of him. Hoisting himself up he swung his leg over as he settled in behind Jaxon. Taking the reigns he made sure that his horse was okay with carrying both of them as they road into town. He was glad that they were taking his horse instead of a carriage because it would make the two of them less noticeable. Going out of the main courtyard area Farron made his way on horseback towards the town. As the two of the continued to ride Farron went through a mental checklist of the things that they would need to get when they were there. "So we need to get more clothing for Jaxon. We need formal as well as casual clothing."
Coming into the town gates, since his manor home was on the outskirts of the main town, he looked around. "Jaxon," started Farron. "we need to get your formal clothing and casual clothing. I think we should get your formal clothing first since that will take the most time since you will be fitted for it." He turned his horse down a small alcove alleyway and stopped in front of a shop named Tailor's Emporium. Getting off of the horse he extended his hand to Jaxon for him to get off of the horse. |
When Farron got on the horse with him, Jaxon looked straight ahead and focus on not falling off the horse while it was just standing. When they started moving Jaxon grabbed the front of the saddle and closed his eyes tightly repeating 'just don't fall, just don't fall.' Over and over again in his head, he was glad that be couldn't see where they were going because he knew that if he looked now he might fall off. When Farron said his name he just stayed still and listened not wanting to risk falling, when he heard that he was going to be fitted for clothes he didn't really know what to expect from that so he just nodded to what Farron was saying.
When Jaxon felt the horse stop moving he slowly opened his eyes and saw that they were in an alleyway, impressed that he didn't actually fall he smiled to himself and looked around. Noticing that Farron had gotten off the horse and was now holding his hand out to him to help him get off the horse Jaxon took his hand and swung his leg back over the horse and slid off. Once on the ground Jaxon let go of Farron's hand and then looked at the shop they were in front of. |
Once Jaxon was on the ground he went and tied the horse to a nearby pole. Opening the doors to the building there was a ring of the bell as the door hit it."I will be with you in one moment. I am in the back." "Alright," replied Farron as he looked around the room that they were in. There were various crystal and glass trinkets that littered the room. The lighting of the room cast a glow on everything and threw the colors of the items onto the ceiling. Farron smiled to himself as he saw all of the different colors dancing around. There was some rustling in the back and there was movement from the back room. A woman was soon seen coming out. Smiling she said,"Farron it's been a while. How have you been?" Farron smiled and said,"Things are doing well. I need Jaxon here," he motioned to Jaxon. "I need him to be fitted for some formal clothing." Nodding her head she clapped her hands together as she approached the two of them."My name is Melanie," said Melanie."Can you please come into the back room with me?" She motioned with her hand for Jaxon to follow her as she began walking into the back room. She stopped though and turned to Farron as she said," He will be done in about an hour." Farron nodded his head as he replied with," Very well I will be doing all errands in the meantime." Turning to Jaxon he looked at him and smiled as he said," Don't be too rebellious with her alright." With that being said he walked out the door and into the sunlight outside.
Jaxon followed Farron into the shop and just looked around the room at all the different things, it was really facinating to him never really being in a place like this before to begin with. When he heard a lady's voice coming from the back room Jaxon continued to look at everything until she came out, see as Farron and her were talking he just kept quiet and tried to stay out of it. When he heard that her name was Melanie he just decided to call her ma'ma to make sure he didn't get in trouble, he began following her to the back. Hearing that it was going to take an hour just to be fitted Jaxon sighed slightly, it just ment that he was going to be in this building for that long. He thought that Farron was going to be staying with him but when he said that he was going to do errands instead Jaxon was slightly shocked as he watched him walk out. He wasn't really rebellious in the first place he didn't like getting in trouble at all, so he was going to be able to follow that rule easily. But since he didn't know what to expect he didn't really know what to do anymore.
Farron's real reason for leaving was to see how well the other male would do on his own. He knew that Jaxon, from what he had seen thus far, wasn't a very rebellious person by nature, but he wanted to make sure that the other could be trusted when he was not there to oversee him. Besides, he did have some things to do after all.
However, inside Melanie looked at Jaxon and smiled as she said," I can see why Farron chose you. You are rather cute."Melanie then went to look at the various fabrics that she would be using to make the other clothes. Bringing over some squares of fabric she handed them to him as she said," Out of the three of these which two do you like the most. Texture wise?" |
Jaxon just looked down and slightly blushed when the lady said he was cute, but he knew that Farron hadn't really choosen him it was more like the King's choice. When the lady left to look at fabrics Jaxon just looked up slightly and looked around seeing as there was nothing else he could do while he waited. He knew that he could probably run if he wanted but then again, one of the royal guards might find him adn bring him back and then he might get in trouble. Whick he never really care for, but he also had no where to go just yet so he knew he would have to wait a bit long to get to know the twon a bit better. When she came back with the three squares of fabric Jaxon looked down at them and listened to what she was saying, he took one of the squares and felt it and then did the same with the other two. After deciding which one he thought were softer he said "I like the first and third square." His voice was quiet and he just hoped that she understood him even if he just said what squares he wanted. He didn't really know the names of the fabrics so it would have to work. He kept quiet hoping that she would say something so that he could help her if she didn't understand what he ment.
Farron continued to finish the rest of his errands as he looked at the golden watched that adorned his wrist. He wanted so desperately to go back to the fabric store and scoop Jaxon back into his arms, however, he knew that the other male still needed to be tested.
Meanwhile back at the store Melanie nodded as she listened to what Jaxon had said. Jaxon had picked out material that she knew that Farron would like. He had chosen cashmere and silk. She knew that she would make fine clothing out of the material that he had chosen."Very well,"said Melanie."I can make fine clothing out of these. Now there is the question of color. Farron's family colors are blue and white, but not all of your clothing has to be that color. What are you favorite colors?"She knew that in most societies the people that owned slaves didn't give them much choice in their clothing, but she knew that Farron's family was very kind and that they would not mind. |
Jaxon just stood there and listened to the lady and thought about her question then said "I told him that my favorite colour was green but it doesn't really matter to me what colours they are." He looked down at the ground again, he wished that Farron would come back soon he was starting to run out of things to look at. He looked up slightly and then said "How much longer will this take?" his voice was still quite as he didn't really feel comfortable being there.
Farron went through his mental checklist of things that he had done, and things that he still needed to do. The last place that he had to go to was the sweet shop. He wanted to get himself and Jaxon, mostly for Jaxon, some candy. Farron loved the candy, ever since he was little, from Margrave's sweet shop, but he also wanted to get some candy for Jaxon for what he assumed would be a well behaved, wonderful time with Melanie. Walking into the store, he bought his candy, and then walked back towards the clothing shop where he imagined that Melanie would be finishing up with his slave's measurements.
Meanwhile at the store Melanie looked up from her pad of paper and said"Well I have all of your measurements. Your clothes should be done in about a week or so. We are fairly busy with the winter season coming, and that means elegant balls and parties for the rich and famous."Melanie was always busy, but around this time of year things got very crazy, and sometimes it made Melanie wonder why she was working in this trade. As if on cue to hearing Jaxon's question the door swung open and Farron walked into the room. "Are we done?" asked Farron as he looked at Melanie. Melanie looked at Farron and then back to her pad of paper. Going over it again in her mind she looked at him and said,"Yes. I am all done here. I have all of his measurements, and the clothes should be done in about a week or so. I will send word to the castle when they are finished by messenger.""Very well," said Farron as he walked over to Jaxon. Handing the bag to the other man he said," Here, I got these for you. It's a treat for you because you were so well behaved." |
Jaxon listened to what the lady was saying then smiled knowing that he was done now and that he just had to wait for Farron to come back. When he heard the door open and Farron's voice Jaxon looked up and smiled, he was glad that Farron was already back and couldn't wait to leave. He stood quietly while Farron talked to the lady and then looked up at Farron when he walked over to him and handed him a bag. Jaxon was slightly confused because normally he wouldn't get anything like these, he smiled then said "Thank you" then looked back down slightly to wait and see what happened next.
