((Thank you <3 It means a lot. He called me a few minutes a go to tell me he loved me and that they were transporting him to another hospital for surgery. So since i'm so far away, I'm trying to bury myself in mene >.< So were happy for him to be in anyones prayers (: I'd rather not have a half blind Michael :c ))
Scarlett nodded."For you.. He'd get serious." She said, helping her crack the eggs. "It was hard for both of us. But it was so much more difficult for Andrew. He changed completely. But lately, when he's with you I see glimpses of the old him." She said, her emerald eyes sparkling a bit. "And oh, my cooking is that bad. I hope Gideon never asks me to prepare a meal for him by myself." She giggled. She then turned the oven on to warm the bacon. "When I was younger my friend Sara and I thought that in order to cook bacon you had to flip them constantly, like pancakes. Well, we flipped them and the grease hit us in the hands! Worst thing ever. We were only nine so we dropped our spatulas and ran to her mom crying. We ended up forgetting about the bacon and the oven caught on fire.." She grinned. "So yeah, i'm not the best cooker. "Well, you may never meet Alice's, but you've met mine and Scars." He said, smiling. But his smile turned to a frown at the fence. "Yeah.. hmm. Let's start this way before it gets dark." He said, pointing to the left. "We'll have to go around the whole fence to see if theres any way out." The male then stopped. "Shit! I just remembered, once you get to the back yard of the house theres a stone wall! That means that theres no holes under the fence once we reach the backyard.. which means the only way out is if theres any holes in the front yard." He sighed. |
((Aww. Michael. I'll pray for him. :yes: That's a tragedy that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. My uncle had the same thing happen to him. It wasn't an accident, but he lost sight in one eye. :( Very sad. He's a gamer, too . . . so it's very bad. I hope Michael regains his sight!))
"We'll have to warn him," Alice said, "I'm sure you don't want him 'leaving you' for your cooking." She laughed. "I have the perfect solution: frozen food." That was when Scarlett spoke of her past experience cooking bacon. "Oh. My." They shared a good laugh about that one. "I hope no one was hurt!" The only experiences that Alice had with cooking were all with her nanny. Nothing interesting had happened, so everything turned out well. They added spices and herbs to the omelets, and warmed the bacon. Soon, or . . . relatively so . . . the breakfast would be ready. "They'd better hurry back. I don't know if I'll be able to stave off my hunger that much longer." - "Mm. Alice." He shook his head, but didn't elaborate. They would just have to agree to disagree, really. As they checked the fence things were sounding . . . dismal. "We'll look anyway," Gideon suggested. "Perhaps there's some loose stonework." It was doubtful, but there was always hope. It was roughly half and hour later by the time they checked the entire left side of the property for a way out. Nothing was changing; there was no hint of escape. "Let's check the back yard, and then head back to the main gate." They still had to get to the right side of the property, though it was apparent that there was no flaw in design in the house. It would have been hard to dig under the fence even if there hadn't been rain. Stones and iron was strategically placed to keep much digging room from appearing. While they walked, Gideon glanced at Andrew. "Alice seems to have warmed up to both of you," he commented, smiling a bit as he thought over how Alice reacted to the blonde. It was completely opposite of how she treated Gideon himself. |
((Yeah, Michael lives with me so it's gonna suck when I go home and see how bad he is ): I'm trying to stay up late so that I'll know when he gets out of surgery. I blame his car for the accident >.< It was trash and overheated and then someone slammed into his drivers side and the window shattered into his eye.))
"No one except the poor oven." Scarlett chimed, grinning at Alice. The bacon was coming along nicely. "Yeah, I'm starving!" She said, putting her hand on her stomach. The blonde's eyes lit up. "Frozen food? Yes!" She smirked. "Only not frozen pizza. Apparently I burn that too." She said, smiling. The blonde went over to the cabinet and grabbed four plates, city them on the counter top so that they could all sit in the elegant chairs and eat breakfast together. "Do you want me to go see if I can round em up?" She asked, turning the stove off of the bacon since it was done. The blonde then glanced back to the mirror in the kitchen, thinking she had seen someone in the room beside them. She blinked, mentally laughing at herself. Silly Scarlett, Its all in your head. Andrew blushed a little. "Yeah.. well, I really like her. Don't tell her that, but I think I could actually have a promising relationship with her." He said, bending over to inspect the next part of the fence. Thats when the wind picked up and thunder started to occur every few moments. "Let's come back out here again tomorrow. I don't think it's safe to be by an iron fence in a lightning storm." |

"Go ahead! I can see the door from here, so I don't think anyone would try to steal you away." With a weak smile, Alice took some glasses of water to the counter. Napkins and silverware were next. By the time the guys were headed back, everything was ready. Gideon smiled a bit. "Tomorrow then." He subconsciously rubbed his left wrist, knowing that such an electrical force would knock out any electronics if it struck metal. His hand wouldn't survive the event of being a channel for lightning. "It looks like they're finished," he commented as they walked back together. The rain was getting heavier, though it wasn't terrible quiet yet. Gideon happened to like the rain when it wasn't keeping them from escaping. They headed back to the house, finally reaching the front porch just as the thunder really started to rumble. Rain was now coming down like a curtain of water. Gideon stepped up to the door first, meeting Scarlett's gaze with a look of care. He pressed a kiss to her forehead, smiling a bit as he shrugged off his coat to hang by the door. Luckily the material was leathery, so it wasn't soaked. His hair would dry eventually. . . . |

Scarlett opened the door. "Breakfast's ready you two." She said, blushing when Gideon kissed her forehead. She moved out of the door way and headed back to the kitchen. Alice had already gotten things set up so Scarlett quickly put the dirty dishes in the dish washer and then sat at the counter in front of her plate, waiting for the other two. Andrew nodded. "Tomorrow." He said, smiling at his sister when she walked up to the door. Once they were inside he walked to the counter, taking a seat next to his sister, and by an empty spot for Alice. Then of course there was an empty spot next to Scarlett for Gideon. "We haven't found any holes in the fence yet.." He sighed. "But theres always tomorrow." |

Alice frowned at the news, sighing sadly. "Well, nothing eventful has happened to us this morning. I suppose it would be silly to think that we could stay here without incident." She took her seat beside Andrew and reached up to smooth some of his hair. The boys were distinctly wet and damp . . . but it was sort of endearing, honestly. "We'll see about tomorrow. The storm might let up some." Gideon sat beside Scarlett, sending her a swift smile. Glancing to Alice, the male frowned slightly. He sat in silence as the girl lifted her head and cleared her throat. "Dear Lord, please bless this food. Help it to give us the energy and strength we need. Help us to stay safe in this house, and for no one else to be hurt. Keep us from further harm. In Your name we pray. Amen." The short prayer was over then, and Alice swiftly snagged her fork and napkin. "So the gate was stuck, then? And there are no other places to get out?" |

Scarlett bowed her head and closed her eyes. "Amen." She said, opening them and grabbing her fork. The only thing she hadn't lost after dating Carter had been her faith, so she took pride in it. She started to eat her food, glancing to Gideon to see if her enjoyed it. "After breakfast how about you two get in dry clothes and then we should start a fire." She said, remembering how in the living room there was an old fireplace that was still usable. And there was a pile of wood next to it. The blonde continued to eat her food, happy that nothing was going wrong. "Yeah.. for some reason the house is very quiet today. And so far nothings gone wrong. Maybe it would be safe to stay another night?" She asked, glancing to the two men since they seemed to be making all the decisions. She playfully ran her hand through Gideons soaked hair, and smiled when she saw Alice do the same to Andrew. Andrew looked down at his plate. "Umm.. I guess we can stay another night. But if anything goes wrong were leaving." He said, thinking about it. "Well if nothing goes wrong for a few days then maybe Troy will back off and we can stay a little longer." He said, looking over at Alice and smiling as she smoothed his soaked hair. "Amen." He whispered, starting to eat his food. "Mmmm. This is good you two." He smiled, taking another bite. "I think I'm gonna go for a swim in the hot tub after this. "What about you guys?" He asked, remembering that there was a indoor hot tub at the other end of the house. |
Gideon smiled a bit thinking of the fire. That sounded wonderful, honestly. He then bumped Scarlett's arm lightly with his own. "The food's good," he commented, taking another bite. The male hummed in contentment as he felt Scarlett's hand run through his hair, sending a glance full of care in her direction. He had no complaints about being taken care of like this. His health and hunger was thoroughly seen to by the girls (mostly Scarlett).
His eyes narrowed at the thought of staying, but he had no desire to leave these people. The longer they could stay together, the better. Gideon looked up at Andrew for a moment when he spoke of going into the hot tub. Showers were alright on his mechanical hand, but the risk of having it soaked in hot water wasn't one he usually toyed with. Looking uncertain, he took another bite of food. If Scarlett wanted to go, then he would . . . compromise. - Alice nodded. "The food is good. Taste this!" Lifting her glass to Andrew's lips, the woman smiled. "We found it in the pantry." It was the best kind of cider on earth. "It's a cryin' shame that this house is so . . . creepy. The food is great, and there is so much to do here." Her golden eyes filled with regret. "Sadly, we have things like Troy wandering around. I don't see how we can avoid staying another night. Hopefully the phone line will come back up, or something. Maybe we can call someone in here to get us." Doubtful, but at least she'd said it. When her plate of food was finished (she ate faster than the others), Alice leaned against Andrew and watched his fork hit the plate. "The hot tub sounds amazing," she said, feeling a bit sorry that they hadn't been able to go swimming as planned the previous day. |
Scarlett blushed. "Thank you." She said, leaning and kissing Gideon gently on the side of his jaw. She then finished her food and stood up. "Hm. Hot tub? Well.. I don't really like hot tubs. I get warmed up too quick and then it makes me feel sick." She said, looking to Gideon. "But if you wanna go you can. I think I'll just watch a movie in the theater." She said, thinking of the huge leather couch in the theater room. Plus there was a lot of old, and new movies to watch.
The blonde put her dish in the sink and then leaned against the counter, waiting for an answer so she would know what to do. "I hope Troy backs off. I'm not raisin no babies." She smiled, putting her hand on her flat stomach. "Not unless theres a ring on my finger, anyways." The blonde mused. Andrew smiled at Alice and rolled his eyes at Scarlett. "Fine, then me and Alice will have all the fun. And you know Gideon won't leave you alone." He said, sticking his tongue out at her. He had already finished his food, so he stood up and put his dishes in the sink. He went over to Alice, wrapping his arms around her. "Thanks for breakfast." He said, kissing her forehead. |
"I know how you feel, Scarlett." Alice winked at the girl as she patted her stomach, and then eyed Andrew for a while before laughing. "Well, let's go have fun, then. We'll make sure to listen for you guys just in case." None of them wanted anything happening again, though it was hard to keep their fears so immediate when they were happy and full. Strange, how contentment dulled one's senses.
Feeling Andrew's kiss on her forehead, Alice smiled widely and squirmed until she could get her arms around him as well. "It was fun to make. Your sister is an excellent story teller." With a final wink at Scarlett, Alice linked her fingers with Andrew's. "Alright, let's get our towels. I need to change." They were headed for the rooms soon enough. Alice changed swiftly behind the bathroom door before darting out to the hallway and teasingly pursing her lips. "I took less time than you did, slow poke!" With that, she headed for the hot tub, glancing over her shoulder with a laugh. "Don't let me get there first, tiger!" - "I don't want to go," Gideon said quietly, putting his own dishes in the sink beside Scarlett's. He moved to place his hand over Scarlett's as she patted her stomach, his expression unreadable. "Someday you'll raise excellent children." His words were followed by a gentle touch to the woman's cheek. "I would like to stay with you." He meant for the movie. Gideon would definitely like to skip out on the hot tub. Slowly stepping toward the theater in the other room, he watched Scarlett with his brown eyes full of his smile. "Is there anything you feel like watching?" |
Scarlett winked back at Alice. "You two have fun. But don't do anything I wouldn't do!" She giggled. She then looked back at Gideon. "Only if I have a good husband to fall back on and help me." She whispered, her eyes staring into his. When he moved towards the theater the intense stare broke. She smiled. "Hmm.. How about we watch a romantic comedy? I usually watch horror films.. but at the moment I'd probably be in your lap the whole time." She said, taking his hands and leading him into the theater room. She switched the lights on and then went over to the large television, with a rack of dvds next to it. "Ooh! Close your eyes. I'm gonna put my favorite movie in.." She said, putting a dvd in and then going over to Gideon, kissing him.
"Kay. Open." She said, giving him a gentler kiss and then sitting on the large, black leather couch. She patted the seat next to her, grinning at him seductively. "This is the best movie ever.." She said, smiling. The blondes attitude seemed miraculously changed from yesterdays events. Once he sat down, she leaned against him, kissing his neck. She sighed. "What would I do without you?" She asked, smiling. Andrew had his shorts on in a matter of seconds, grabbing two red towels. He then quickly ran down the steps after her, grabbing her waist at the bottom of the stairs. "Caught you." He chuckled, picking her up and putting her over his shoulder. "Looks like i'll be getting to the hot tub first.." He laughed, going into the hot tub room and sitting Alice down by the hot tub. He then laid their towels in a chair by the hot tub. He then picked Alice up again and sat her in the hot tub. He then slipped in, wrapping an arm around her. "I suppose its to early in the relationship to talk about skinny dipping?" He joked, chuckling. "So what do you wanna do after swimming?" He asked, leaning back in the water and letting his muscles relax. |
Unsure how to reply to the comment about marriage, Gideon was glad when they headed for the next room. He liked this girl . . . but he wasn't sure about marriage quite yet. Did he want to stay with her forever? Quite possibly. But, to be honest, it was a bit early to tell. They'd only known one another for a few days. Gideon didn't deny that the thought was quite tempting.
"Horror might not be the best idea," he said quietly, his fingers tightening about Scarlett's as she pulled him along. It was cute how she would lead him places. Usually it was the male's job to be leader (and this was no exception!), so when she took charge it made Gideon laugh inwardly. He found the boldness in her attractive, to say the least. "Whatever you feel like watching is good," Gideon said, and then paused before amending his comment. "Unless it's a movie about animals. I can't stand those." At the end of those, the animal always died. When bidden to, he closed his eyes and waited silently. Scarlett's excited words made him smile . . . and he was surprised to feel her lips upon his. The warmth made him lean toward the woman until she broke away. Her second kiss prompted him to open his eyes. Scarlett hardly had time to offer a place for him before Gideon was sitting beside her, eying her seductive grin for a few moments. "Isn't this the part where you grow fangs?" The male glanced at the screen for a moment only to feel Scarlett press a kiss to his neck. That got his attention right back to the woman beside him immediately. Her sudden change of behavior was a bit startling . . . but Gideon wasn't complaining. "What would I do without you?" I don't know. He ran a hand through some of her blonde hair, stroking her cheek in the process. "I don't know if I can pay much attention to the movie like this," he whispered as the beginning credits started to play. Leaning over to kiss her, Gideon looped an arm around Scarlett carefully and pulled her close to his side. Somehow he found himself much closer to Scarlett, and his gaze was locked on her. Images of the previous evening (before Tali attacked, anyway) found their way into his mind readily. He could still recall the feeling of his fingers in her damp hair, her gentle touch, their warm kisses. . . . The thoughts brought a more passionate kiss to Scarlett's lips as Gideon got rid of the space between them. - Alice squealed in surprise when she found herself tossed over one of Andrew's shoulders. She squirmed only for a moment, and then couldn't help but stop because she was laughing so hard. "Fine. Get there first. At least I have a good view." When she was set down beside the hot tub, the young woman watched with a smile as Andrew set their towels aside. She was surprised once more when she was placed into the warm water, and promptly squeaked another exclamation. "Am I really that light?" she asked playfully, and then nudged the male's side as he looped an arm about her. "Oh, much too soon." Alice laughed with Andrew, shaking her head and blushing as she cleared her throat. "I don't skinny dip, Andrew!" She smacked his chest lightly, leaning back against the side of the tub with a smirk. "After this? Oh, I don't know. The movie room is taken, so how about . . . " Alice trailed off in thought, frowning as she did so. An idea seemed to strike her suddenly. "What kind of music do you listen to? I have my iPod with me." |
"Don't worry. It's not an animal movie.." She said, grinning as 'How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days' popped up. It had been her favorite movie as a child. "Fangs? I don't think I'd be very attractive with fangs.." She laughed, leaning against him and kissing him back when he wrapped his arm around her.
"Fine, So you can pay attention i'll stop kiss-" She stopped, having been pulled into a passionate kiss by Gideon. She kissed him back, putting her hand on the side of his face, her eyes closed but her lips easily found his. The blonde leaned her head back. "Your having problems paying attention?" She breathed, smiling. Thoughts of yesterday came pouring back through the look Gideon was giving her. She kissed him again, leaning so that her lips could be closer to his. "Yeah, your really light." He grinned. "Plus I work out a lot. So to me you weigh about as much as picking up a pillow.." He grinned. He chuckled. "Ugh, Darn." He smirked. "I don't skinny dip either. So the only time you'll see me nude is if...I'm changing, or something goods about to happy." He grinned. The male dunked his head in the warm water and then came back up, taking a breath and wiping the water from his eyes with his free hand. "I listen to just about any kind of music.. Except rap. Rap is crap in my mind." He smirked. "I don't see the point in listening to someone talking for a whole five minutes.." |

"I am," Gideon whispered, knowing that paying attention to the movie was going to be rather difficult. He was definitely distracted. His hand moved up to the side of Scarlett's neck, and then trailed down her arm as he found it was hard to sit still. Despite the size of the couch they sat on, they were already sharing one cushion. Gideon's lips trailed their way to the woman's throat, and he chuckled. "Did you plan on watching this movie?" - Alice's face burned with heat as she laughed, trying not to look too embarrassed. She failed. She was also very glad when the subject changed. "Yes! Finally! Someone who agrees with me!" Wiping a stray lock of hair from Andrew's face, she beamed. "Rap is a waste of effort. And . . . I must say that opera isn't my favorite. My nanny listens to it all the time." Wrinkling her nose, Alice took a breath and disappeared beneath the surface of the water. When she reappeared, she rolled her eyes. "She's so old fashioned! It just kills me inside." She flicked some water at Andrew, smiling as she did so. |

Scarlett let a soft moan escape her lips as her kissed down her neck. "Not if you keep kissing me like that.." She said, laughing a little. She put her hands on his shoulders, They were already close on the large couch, so she laid back on the other cushions, looking up at him. She tooks his hands and laced them with hers. "Sorry if you don't like chick flicks.. but this kinda is that kind of movie.." She said, grinning. "But it's cute." Andrew nodded. "I listen to alternative a lot. But lately I've been listening to country." He said, leaning back. He flicked some water at her face and gently dunked her, chuckling. He wrinkled his nose. "Eww. Opera Nannys? Gross. I don't like music where I can't understand the words.." He said, looking to the lit up water from the lights inside the hot tub. "Screamos sound cool but I hate that I don't know what the hell their saying." He grinned. |
"I don't watch much," Gideon admitted, glancing at the screen. He hardly had the concentration to pull himself to lean back against the couch cushions. "I'm willing to watch it if you like it." His arm made its way around Scarlett's shoulder, and his fingers trailed small circles on the girl's arm as he tried to focus on the television. His other hand remained linked with Scarlett's.
His heart was still beating faster than usual, but he would force himself to focus on what was happening. - "Country!" Alice clapped her hands, smiling . . . and then was dunked under the water. When she came back up, she was sure to spray water at him as though she were an animal. "A man with my own music tastes. Rare, from what I've seen." Her gold eyes ran over Andrew's toned muscles as she thought of him. He was cute, funny, nice, protective . . . and shared her music interests. What could be better? "I know it's emotional, and everything, but I like listening to sad songs. They really hit the heart strings, you know?" She tapped the tattoo over Andrew's heart, smiling a bit before wiping her wet hair from her eyes. It was so warm . . . so relaxing. She loved it. Alice offered a playful grin to Andrew . . . before shoving a wave of water at him with both hands. |
She sat up. "Well i've seen it about a million times.. so if you'd rather kiss me you can." She smiled, giving him a light kiss on the lips to see if thats what he wanted. At that moment the 'Benny Boo- Boo, Boo-Boo, Bear came up and she laughed. "Your lucky your names not Benjamin or i'd do that to you." She teased.
She leaned her head against his shoulder, yawning. "Do you want a drink?" She asked, looking in the center of the couch where the mini fridge was. She pulled out a coke for herself and glanced at Gideon. Andrew smiled. "You like country too? I like it since i'd love to live in the country someday.." He said, splashing her back. "It's okay, I like listening to sad songs too. I listened to Whiskey Lullaby almost everyday after my mom died for a year." He chuckled. "It was my way of getting through things. And I know that Scar listened to 'I Need You Now' a bunch whenever she went through a bad break up. Or 'Pictures'." He said, smirking. |
"I'd rather kiss you," Gideon said quietly, his gaze moving back to Scarlett as she lightly kissed his lips. They both shared a laugh over the video, and the male agreed. If his name was Benjamin, he'd die. He was happy with his name. It seemed to suit him better than most.
After the laugh they shared, they relaxed. Feeling Scarlett leaning against his shoulder, Gideon smiled. Her question made him nod immediately. "Coke sounds good." He took it from her, and then set it aside in order to snag her hand. True to his interesting nature, he licked the droplets of water from her fingers before leaning in to kiss her again. "You might have to summarize the movie for me later." - Finally seating herself beside Andrew, Alice nodded. "Good sad songs." She thought for a moment before nodding. "Rascall Flats. 'Here Comes Goodbye' and 'What Hurts the Most.' " Leaning against the blond, she sighed. "I think I'm in love." Though her words were sarcastic, her gaze was sincere. So far, this guy was it. "When we get out of here, we should stick together. There's a really nice inn in the next city that my nanny used to work at. We should go there." |
Scarlett handed him the coke and then sat her coke down on the floor by the couch so that they could kiss. "Deal." She said, laying back and pulling him with her. She continued to kiss him, happy for the sudden warmth and butterflies she felt through out her. "Hmm.. pretty much the end is just the couple actually falling for each other. Plus Ben does a bad ass motorcycle chase with a taxi to catch her before she gets to the airport." She said, giving him another kiss.
"And 'The Broken Road' by him." He piped in, holding her and putting his chin on top of her head. He smirked at her sarcasm. "You may not love me yet, but you will." He said, then hugged her a little closer. "We'll stick together, don't worry. And an Inn sounds nice. I'd hate to never see you again.." He said, slightly frowning. He felt a connection with this girl, and his heart ached even thinking about leaving her alone. |
Gideon hardly caught what Scarlett was saying. He managed to acknowledge what she said a few seconds later. "Motorcycle chase?" He tangled his hands in her hair, and promptly forgot the drink she'd handed him just moments before. "Sounds interesting," he breathed, sounding very much distracted.
He allowed himself to be pulled along with Scarlett as she fell back, careful not to fall against her too harshly. Gideon breathed in her scent deeply, kissing her once more. He couldn't get enough of her taste. - "Yes!" Then she calmed a bit, knowing that something about his words was true. "I'd hate that, too." With a quiet sigh, Alice breathed in the scent of the hot tub and Andrew's faint cologne. "Has anyone ever told you that you're the nicest guy they know?" Scarlet continued to kiss him, her arms resting on his shoulders. The faint smell of cologne filled her nostrils, and she then kissed his neck, the female gently nipping at it to see what Gideons response would be. She stared into his eyes, her emerald ones sparkling from the reflection of the tv. "Yeah.. a motorcycle chase.." She whispered. Andrew shook his head. "No one but you.." He said, turning her slightly and kissing her gently on the lips. His curve cologne filled the air from the heat, and he grinned. "Sorry if I smell bad.." He said, biting his bottom lip. "My cologne tends to fill the room if it gets hot." He said, his face still inches from hers. ((Is it weird that whenever I'm dating a guy I smell him to remember his scent? Lol. The last guy I was with smells like Old Swagger and Curve mixed together, so thats what I wanted Andrew to smell like Lol )) |
Gideon felt her lips on his neck, and he immediately bore his throat to her. It was a momentary reaction, and his mouth soon found her again with a sound of want. Her glittering eyes made him smile, an expression that rarely crossed his features. He had been smiling around Scarlett more than he'd smiled in years. "And the guy gets the girl in the end?" he whispered, untangling one hand so he could caress her cheek. Nearly all of Gideon's weight was on Scarlett, but she didn't seem to mind.
- "Smell bad? How does 'cologne' and 'smell bad' even fit into the same sentence?" Alice turned when Andrew wanted her to, and was surprised by a gentle kiss. The young woman smiled, reaching up to touch his lips. They were close then, but that didn't seem to bother Alice . . . despite her blush. Kissing first his nose, and then his lips, Alice pulled away to rest her head on the male's chest. "I don't want to go too fast," she said, licking her lips. "I'm not ready." Not for a relationship that meant more than good friends . . . and a romantic interest. "I'm not a girl who takes things like this quickly." ((:D I think that's awesome! My family thinks it's weird, but I can tell when something belongs to someone by the smell of it. :XD Scents are something that we girls really catch on to, apparently!)) |
"Yepp." She said, happy with the closeness. In the cold room Gideon kept her nice and warm. When he caressed her the side of her face, the blonde kissed him gently. In the background she heard 'Krawl the warrior king' and giggled. Her eyes brightened at his sound of want. "I feel so comfortable around you..like everything else doesn't matter except us at this moment." She whispered. "I know thats weird.. but if I could pick any moment to freeze forever I think i'd pick now." She said, blushing. Him hovering over her in the darkness with only a glow from the television screen. And her favorite movie playing in the background.
The blonde took the hand that was caressing her face and gently kissed his knuckles. "Don't worry, I won't call you Princess or Krawl either." She said, giving a light laugh. Andrew smiled. "Thats understandable. And don't worry.. I'm not the type of guy to do anything past kissing unless i'm very serious about the girl." He said, then grinned. "Well most girls don't like the smell of my cologne.." He said, looking at the water. He splashed her and then swam under to the other side, sticking his tongue out at her. ((Yeah, I just love peoples scent <3 It's how I remember someone when their gone lol)) |
Hearing how comfortable Scarlett felt around him made the boy pause. No one had ever said that before. He let his brown eyes linger on the woman's face, watching how the shadows from the lit screen played over her features. "You would choose now?" Gideon sounded surprised that anyone would pick a moment with him in it. For a time his face showed his surprise, and his gaze softened.
"Right. Just don't call me either one," Gideon went along with her teasing manner, chuckling with her. Her kiss on his knuckles made him almost flinch for a moment, as the hand she was holding happened to be his gloved one: His mechanical hand. Gideon swiftly took a breath . . . and licked his lips nervously. "I want to show you something," he said quietly, shifting so he could pull his arm back a bit. He'd never done it before, but he wanted to show Scarlett his hand. "Tali was the first animal I made," he said, messing with the glove. He finally got it off, though his hand looked quite normal. "I learned to make machines because I needed something." Gideon pushed his sleeve back, and then reached for the crimson strip of fabric that was tied about his wrist. Slowly untying it, he revealed the silvery line that seemed to scar his skin. "When I was young, there was an . . . accident. I learned to make myself whole again." Tentatively pressing his ice-cold fingers to Scarlett's cheek, Gideon met her gaze. He trusted her. He wanted her to know some of his past. - "I'm not the type of girl to go beyond kissing unless I've married the guy," Alice said with a laugh. Taking a deep breath, she leaned in and took another whiff. "I can't see why they'd be bothered." She got a face full of water as he splashed her, and Alice's dripping features beamed with a smile. "Oh, you!" She pushed off the side of the tub, bringing a wave of water with her. That was the beginning of their water fight. ((^_^ Thanks for waiting. Now . . . what to do . . . maybe - after some stuff calms down - we time skip for almost a week? By the time the storm lets up, the estate is quiet and Troy/Angel-free? Supposedly, anyway. ;))) |
(Yeah, we should skip so that it's a week later and there about to go to sleep. Thats when troy will make his move >:3 )
Scarlett looked at the silver strip around his wrist. Her hand delicately ran her slender fingers over it. "What happened?" She asked, her green eyes looking up at him. She blinked a few times. "Is your hand robotic?" She asked, curious. "How about this.. if you tell me some of your past, I'll tell you mine." She whispered. She was tired of secrets. There were so many dark things lingering in her mind that kept her from being happy, and she prayed that someday they would all seep into the floorboards of her mind, and the cracks in the walls. And never return to her thoughts. But she could never forget. Only forgive. Andrew swam under her, grinning as he grabbed her fot and pulled her under. Once he released her and she came back up, he grinned. "I like that type of girl." He said, smiling. "Though i've made some mistakes in my life involving women. I might as well tell you now, I'm not a virgin." He said, sighing. "But they meant nothing to me.. I barely remember them.." He said, then felt the need to explain himself. "I used to be a drunk. Or stoned. Anything to escape the world after my moms death, so half the time i'd just wake up in some random girls bed.." He said, frowning. "But i've been two years sober of drugs." He said, smiling. "And i've learned to control my alcohol intake." |
