Nope. Like imvu you just have to create and account and dowload/install it. There are no required subscriptions.

Yeah... I guess that's the downside to everything being made by the users. It makes it hard to customize really unless you develop items, too...

I completely agree with you. I'd love to buy my avatar name, but not for 15 friggin dollars. And then I can't get anything I like for my avatar since I can't even try to make anything...(the shops have close to what I want, but not exactly what I want)

Yeah, I think the avatar names and credits are a little bit over-priced. I bought my name the first time I joined, but... I think the whole concept of "buying your name" is a little weird even.

Speaking of uninstalling IMVU, when you've tried in the past did it ever give you an error? Like, it would ALMOST uninstall all the way and it would stop or say it can't be uninstalled or something? It always gives me trouble when I remove it. That trouble has crossed several computers now and I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't something in the program itself and not just with me.

As odd as it is if I emand my computer to uninstall something it would uninstall... I'm not quite sure though. That sounds a bit conspicuous.>w<

XD Kinda. It always has some weird error and doesn't uninstall through the uninstall program. I usually end up just removing the base files. I was really hoping it wasn't just me.

I go to control panel and uninstall programs/software... so yeah. ^w^

XD Haha. I didn't think it was lame. It made me laugh. Granted that may be because it's 4 am, but still. It was funny. It doesn't really bother me enough to contact them over it. I tend to avoid the IMVU staff if I can.

The staff on certain sites are definitely better than others. XD I really like the staff members here on Mene. The ones on IMVU just always seem so...fake. I don't know any of them personally, but I don't really like to see anything they update.

I do really enjoy the variety of items we get to choose from though. ^-^ If you get away from the mainstream stuff on there that's a little...gross, in my opinion, you can find some really cool items.
