Hey hey hey
What did y'all do on the Fourth ?
|
I went to school, and wished people a happy Independence Day, resulting in a few laughs. I live in New Zealand, so we don't celebrate it here. Not that I don't wish we had an extra day that fireworks were legal.
|
I live in Australia where we also don't really celebrate the US of A's Independence Day. :)
Didn't do anything special on the day as a result. |
My friends and I sat in our yard with the dogs and watched the colors in the sky. It was a good day to stay home and at least try to ignore the explosions from town, even after two in the morning. Oh, and tonight, evidently.
|
I did absolutely nothing 8D. I was thinking of going down to Bridgeport, CA with some of my family, but decided to just chill this year and not go. I've been down there a few times for the fourth, and it just gets a little boring down there >.>

My friends Zane, Kevin, Carol and I watched the fireworks and got shot at by mother nature. XD
Hello, Monsoon. |
I was supposed to go to a picnic with my family, but then the scheduling of it got all messed up, so we just went shopping instead.
Kind of a strange way to spend the holiday, but it was fun. :3 And then I spent all evening trying to calm down my poor dog who is absolutely terrified of fireworks. ): It's just sad because I actually really love firework Shoshone, but I cant enjoy them when my poor puppy's so scared. Guilty conscious? xD |

Blew up some M90s...and got attacked by a sparkler.
I have a scab from it and it hurts .-. |
I...pretty much worked all day. I got to go see some fireworks for maybe 15-20 minutes after ten, but... They weren't very impressive and they really didn't last long. It was a really cool feeling driving home though and seeing the whole town explode in color. Everyone was shooting off fireworks... Made me jealous I didn't have any explosives. :XD
|
I spent a little time at the hospital because my mom and husband thought I was in labor. XD

I just stayed home because I'm lazy. Caught a glance at the fireworks from my backyard, but I didn't want to get up on the roof to watch them, so I stayed inside with my kitties and posted here. |
I worked with my favorite managers and co-workers. It was a nice quiet day.
|
I worked...then came home, and got online, and when some of my friends from the US came on, we talked/killed zombies. xD
|
Killing zombies is what the holiday's all about!
|
Not just holidays, but everyday. :P
|
You bring up a good point, my friend. Wouldn't be smart to ignore the undead menace no matter how drunk we are!
|
I went to my brother's house where they had a nice barbecue and we watched channel 4 news to watch some of the fire works downtown on TV. Then me and my brother's friend Dan went to the pool and went swimming for a while and then later on that night me and my brother went outside to do some fireworks. The last big firework we did is called wickedly awesome they are huge missile fireworks like the one's you see in the movies I had a really good time on the fourth of July. :)
|
Me and my family had a BBQ and lit some (legal) fireworks. :D
Plus, we got to watch our neighbors shoot off illegal fireworks right above our heads. |
I scooted on down the 16 blocks it takes to get to lake michigan and watched many an awesome fireworks show with my god brother! This years were the best in years!
|
WENT 2 DA BRAVES GAME AND SAW FIREWORX AFTER
THEN DRANK SUM 40 OZS WITH MY FRAAAAND |
I shot off like a gajillion fireworks xD.
I was at my cousin's house in Long Island and we were just having a blast. He brought these huge fireworks and we just set them off like a show >w< ...then I got smacked with a sparkler because my little niece is just unbelievably clumsy =w=" Either way..... Best 4th of July EVER. |
I went to work, went home, and then later saw some fireworks. It wasn't a grand thing, I do it every year -- I really don't do plans for holidays that much anymore.
|
We went to a nearby park and watched a fireworks show! :D
