Get out of my head!

Everyone has that song that they can't get out of their head. You listen to it too many times and eventually you can't stop playing it on repeat in your mind.
Currently, I don't have a song stuck up in my noggin, but I'm sure I will by the end of the night. I've been watching a lot of Julian Smith on YouTube recently and he actually made a song about getting a song stuck in your head and how to forget it...I had THAT song stuck in my head for hours yesterday. Normally I get songs that I write myself jammed up there and can't seem to shake their addicting beats from my mind.

What do you do when this happens?
What song is stuck in your head right now?
How do you manage to get it out of your head?

Many people have told me to listen to another song on repeat until this one is gone...but what happens what the one I'm listening to gets caught?

I had Boyfriend by Big Time Rush stuck in my head earlier  Then it was My Life to Live by Lars Frederiksen & The Bastards ft. Tim Armstrong

I just sing along and enjoy it.

My daughter absolutely loves to watch weebls videos, so I usually have one of those songs stuck in my head. Russian Dancing Men is probably the most common lately.

For some reason, it's actually almost never the songs that I play all the time that get stuck in my head; it's the ones that I haven't heard in years that just pop up out of nowhere in my mind one day.

The one that I seem to get stuck in my head most often is that song from the Winnie the Pooh movie that goes "And the rain, rain, rain came down, down down..." I have no idea why.

Oh, and "Friday" used to go through my head all day every Friday. Fortunately, that has ceased since school ended for the year and I have no real reason to even notice that Fridays are Fridays anymore.

There are just some songs that get stuck in my head as soon as I hear them, such as: YouTube - ‪White Balloons-Sick Puppies + Lyrics‬‏

Oh gosh, sometimes I have the worst songs stuck in my head.
xD
but it makes me laff so it's okay.

Friday - Rebecca Black, because she's just
so talented.

Everybody makes mistakes - Hannah Montana.
That one wasn't so bad, I actually like it.

Todaay it was This boy by The Beatles, I was
singing it all day. xD ...and Mr.Big Stuff by
Jean Knight. Classic song.

"This is the song that never ends. It just goes on and on my friend. Some people started singing it not knowing what it was and they'll continue singing it forever just becaussssssseeeeee"

Please remember to use quote tags when posting lyrics directly. :)

And here's mine! It's the song that plays with the credits when you've beaten Portal 1, so, spoiler alert for those of you who might want to hear it legitimately.

SPOILER - also, pervades your mind with repetitive robot singing!X

Now I have this lovely 90s gem in my head:
‪Duncan Sheik - Barely Breathing (with lyrics)‬‏ - YouTube

1) When this shizzy happens, I usually belt out the song...over...and over...and over.
2) It's bits and pieces of the Big Time Rush soundtrack. I blame my friends for having me go and take them to the concert and record it for them earlier this month (they know who they are).
3) Right now, I can't. I attempt to get rid of it by trying to sing songs by a different artist, but nope, Big Time Rush is still on the brain!

I don't have any song stuck in my head right now because it takes forever to get it out of there.. >_<

Isendor 07-16-2011 04:05 PM

........ I hate because it's so repearing and... and... makes no sense... O.OIt's not really a real song but I consider it as one because... Well, you know. They kind of sing! It's in my head right now. And whenever I have nothing special to think about, THIS pops into my head!
I have no idea how to get these two out of my head, except switching between them. YEY! I'm doomed to have my funerals with these in my head.
