The alarm clock began ringing. Elliot reached over to silence it. He wasn't much of a morning person so he rolled out of his bed grumbling the whole time. He walked into his bathroom and took a nice hot shower. He stepped out of the shower and put on his favorite pair of blue jeans. It had a hole in the knee from wearing them so much, but he didn't care. He put on an orange shirt and then a blue one over the top of that. He grabbed his CD player and headed out the door. He put the headphones on and pressed play. He stepped out looking to the sun. He gave a sigh as he began walking down the street. He always walked to the park and sat by the lake. Elliot had no life really. He did everything the same everyday. Nothing ever changed. He sat on a bench near the water and laid his head back. He really wished for something more exciting to occur, but he wasn't about to hold his breath.

Iszute ploped into the water of what seemed like a lake hard. She had just falled a few thousand feet from her home in the clouds. He dad was punishing her for playing with her 'pets' too roughly. She hated it when he did this. She would have to get out of her white dress and into some dry clothes. Her gloves and feathers on them had floated away havving fallen off in the fall and so did her small fur shawl and other shawl. Her hair ribin was gone and her hair fell down around her in long waves. She grumbled to her self. She needed to stop wearing white. It was a nusince. She was currently sitting in the shalow water thinking to her self and standing up. She held her dress up out of the water and tryed to untangle it's wet folds from around her feet. She was very unhappy and you could tell by the look on her face and the mud from the lake bottem all over her dress. She was soaked from the splash.

Elliot heard a splash coming from the lake, but thought nothing of it. There were always people jumping in the lake to cool off. Especially on a hot summer day like this. He looked at his watch and and happen to catch a glance at a girl in the pond. She was wearing a dress and was soaking wet. He thought it was a bit odd someone would just jump into the lake in such a nice dress. He could see that she was very unhappy. He wandered if maybe someone had pushed her in. Being a nice guy he got up from the bench and walked over to her. "You know, most people change before jumping in the lake" he said with a smile and extending his hand out to help her out of the lake. "Are you okay?" he asked trying to seem kind.

Iszute took the guys hand as he offerd it to her and tryed to make a joke. She laughed slightly and smiled letting him help her out of the lake. She did need help.
"I hadn't planed on falling in the lake. " She said then clamped her mouth shut. If she was carefull she would reveal her self way to easily. She nodded her head with a smile to answer him and let him know that she was okay. Landing on the ground couldn't hurt her. |
Elliot smiled as he pulled her out of the lake. "Well at least you are not hurt or anything" he said trying to be polite. He looked at his watch again. "Oh I better be going or I will be late for work. It was nice to meet" he waved to her as he began heading towards his job. He worked as an intern in photography. He loved photography and music. He wanted to be in a band, but his dad would not approve. He barely approved of Elliot being a photographer, but thought it was better than a musician.

Iszute nodded as he went to go to work. In the mean time she would have to find some new clothes.
"It was nice to meet you too. Have a good day at work." She said with a smile. (Thats totaly fine. I cant be on every day either.) |
Elliot smiled and ran off. He made it to work with a minute to spare. "Whew, that was close" he said to himself. He sat down at his mentors desk. Today they had a big photo shoot for a handful of the top models of the world. He waited for his mentor Mark to arrive. When he did they headed to the beach area on the other side of town. Elliot began to unpack and set up the equipment while Mark got the ladies ready. He let out a sigh as he began to imagine the girl from earlier. He wandered where she came from. He has never seen her around before and she dressed a bit odd for people around here. He also found her quite attractive.

Iszute walked around for a while. She had been here many times just none reacent enough for any mortals that looked the same age as her to remember her. Older people just thought she was someones younger sister or daughter. That worked fine for her. She went to see her grandma who chose to stay on earth because it was easier for her. Her grandma was alway more interested in mortal life than immortal life.
"Hi grammie." Iszute said with a smile. "Hi dearie, dad kick you out again? Well thats okay you can stay here for now. Be a model this time. It would sute you well dearie." Her gramdma said pulling out some new clothes for Iszute as she talked. Iszute just smiled. She didn't want to be a model, her grandma knew what was best though so she supposed it would have to do this time. Iszute could do just about any mortal job with out any problems. Her grandma would be her manager like always and Iszute would go along with it being one step ahead of the rest of the world. The one thing Iszute loved about the mortal world was all the food and the fact that it couldn't change her weight. She smiled as her grandma gave her some clothes. She went to put them on like always and removed her slightly damp dress. Her grandma smiled when she had everything on. It was a simple yet adorable outfit. Black jean shorts that went half way down her thigh and were folded up on the bottem and had rips in them and a simple tank top that showed her curves and had the batman symbol printed on it. She looked like a 21 year old model who worked for a store like Hot Topic. That was exactly what her grandma wanted. Her grandma attacked her hair cutting it enough that it went down only to the middle of her lower back. She used a small yellow ribbon to pull Iszute's hair together. (Thats cool thx) |
Elliot stood around as his mentor began taking pictures. "Yes that's it. You look fabulous" he would say. Elliot stood back and watched like always. His mentor did the main shooting, but today Elliot had to do some photos himself. He had to do the second round of models. He grabbed his camera when it was his turn to take photos. He took his mentor's place and prepared his Camera. When he got it adjusted to his satisfaction he called out the girls. "Okay ladies, I am ready when you are" since he was shooting these girls he did not get to dress them. He had no idea what to expect. The first girl came out in ripped jeans and a slimming t-shirt. He began shooting her. "Excellent. There ya go. Perfect" he said after every shot. When he finished the first couple of girls he waited for the last one to come.

Iszute looked at her self in the mirror. Her grandma smiled and then opened the back door. She walked into the back room and Iszute heard multipule people in the other room. She peaked around the corner to see her grandma send a bunch of girls out the back door and onto the beach.
"Grammie..." She said timidly and came into the room. Her grandma told a man that there would be one more today than she had thought. Iszute frowned. What could she be talking about. She couldn't mean that Iszute was going to her first shoot today. "Oh dearie, you are needed in a shoot. They rented my beach. Now they are taking pictures." She said with an evil grin and Iszute grabbed her mp3 clad in batman case and pluged her headphones into it. They were tiny ones and thats just what she wanted. She didn't like talking to the people who worked with her. It bothered her emensly. "Don't worry dearie, you'll do fine. Just let the music take over you and such. Get into a mood." She listened to her grandma say as she was practicaly shoved out the door. She fell and stood up wiping the sand off her clothes. She looked up. They boy from earlyer was there. She smiled. This was going to be fun after all. She walked over and stood infront of him, assuming he was the photographer because he had the camera and smiled sweetly at him. |
Elliot looked up to see the girl from earlier. He let out a small blush as he almost dropped his camera. He smiled at her as she stood in front of him. He picked up his camera and waited for her to do her poses and he took the pictures according. His mentor stood behind him the whole time giving him pointers and suggestions while taking the girl's photo. After he was done his mentor came up behind him. "Good job Elliot. You did superb" Elliot smiled and nodded as he began to tear down the set. He wanted to rush so that he could have time to talk to the girl he met before.

Iszute blushed back at the boy after he blushed. He started taking her pictures and she compleatly relaxed and went along with it. Maybe this would be more fun than she thought but only if he was always the one to take her pictures. She didn't want anyone else to do it. When he was done she went and sat down on some rockes b the water. It was nice to relax by the beach. She had always enjoyed the beach.

Elliot finished packing things up in the van. "Yo El you coming?" his mentor called out to him as he was walking away. "No go ahead. I'll walk back" he replied. His mentor nodded and began to pull away. Most of the models had already left, but he was hoping she hadn't. He walked around the beach looking for her. He finally spotted her sitting on rock. He quickly recomposed himself and approached her. "Beautiful isn't it?" he said referring to the beach though he actually meant her."Mind if I join you?" he asked wanting to sit down next to her.

Iszute misstook what he said and blushed. She had thought he was refering to her saying it was her name.
"I don't mind if you join me. Have a seat. My name is Iszute by the way." She said smiling at him. He might recegnise her name but she would just say it was after the goddess. |
He took a seat next to her. "Iszute? Like after the goddess? That is pretty cool" he said as he was sitting down. "I'm Elliot" he added introducing himself. "So your a model, thats pretty cool" he said trying to strike conversation with her. He studied her closer. She really was beautiful in his eyes. It made him nervous to talk to her, but he did his best to try and hide it so things wouldn't become awkward. "So do you live near by?" he asked feeling like an idiot for asking her. She probably would think he was a stalker or a creeper now.

Iszute smiled as he rambled and tryed not to be akward.
"I'm staying with my Grammie. She owns this portion of beach that you rented out." She said with a smile. She looked up at the sky. She was glad it was so nice out. "My Grammie is my manager. I do what she thinks I should. It makes her happy and gives me a pritty interesting life style." She said and looked at him with a smile. |
Elliot watched her as she smiled and answered his questions. "Oh. Do you like doing the things she has you doing?" he asked curious as to if she liked being a model. He kind of knew how she felt. He too was doing something because someone close to him wanted him to do so. He himself didn't mind photography and he was good at it, but he really wanted to be a musician.

Iszute smiled as she thought on what he asked her.
"Yeah. Most of the time. It's usualy really interesting. Fun too. I just get annoyed at the people I end up working with. Bunch of prissy girls if you ask me." She said and giggled. |
Elliot chuckled. "Yeah, I hear you there" he said agreeing about the girls. He sat back trying to think of something else to say. He looked at his watch and saw it was starting to get late. He stood up and placed his hand infront of Iszute on offer to help her up. "Its getting late. A pretty young girl like yourself shouldn't stay out too late. A lot of pervs roam around here at night" he said trying to be kind. "If you want I can walk you home" he said again trying to be polite and not stalkerish.

Iszute giggled and took his hand.
"You know. I'm staying with my grammie. She lives right there." She said pointing to the house right behind them. "This is her stretch of beach, remember?" She said teasing him. |
Elliot scratch the back of his head. "Oh yeah, right. Well I hope to see you around" he said as he waved goodbye. He lived a little ways away. It would take him about 20 minutes to get home. He looked back at the girl once more and waved again. He then turned his back to her and began to walk home. He wandered to himself whether he would get to see her again. Since she was model there was a small chance, but also being a model she would be very busy so he might not get to see her.

Iszute giggled as he got up. She stood up as he walked away and ran up to him grabing his hand befor he could walk away. She wasn't about to let him slip away so easily.
"I was wondering... I'f i'd every get to see you again?" She said with a smile on her face. |
Elliot stopped walking when Izsute grabbed his hand. He turned to face her. He was bit surprised by her reaction. "Well you are a model and I am a photographer so I'm sure we are bound to see each other again" he said with a gentle tone. He didn't completely by it himself, but it was sort of true. "If you ever feel the need you can come by the office anytime you like. I'm usually there, if not someone will tell you where to find me" he said placing his hand on her shoulder. He could feel his heart skip a beat. Did she really want to see him again?
