The broken glass around my bed
knowing i cant see my reflection
Relief flows through me
Knowing i cant see my ugliness anymore
A smile appears on my face
knowing i can feel normal now
*(dramatic pause)*
Makes me Happy

this was about how i was feeling one night
so i wrote this poem
(I think rhyming poems are kinda sappy)
please tell me how it is
this was one of my first poems :)

A heart shaped in glass
A smile on your face
This day can't get any better for you
So why am i frowning
you betrayed me
with her
my best friend
my OLD best friend
I burned up the pages
And cried all night
For you

the world closing around and in
knowing i have made a sin
but comes a time where we fade to blackness
and we dream about things that never happen
where we smile instead of cry
when we sell instead of buy
where we give but not take
but this place is gone
Not for my sake

this wall of closing darkness
surrounding me with no end
four corners,
four walls,
and a door locked within
choose a key and choose one fast
for this is where your fate really lasts

Its been said but never done
cried a river and come undone
made me feel all alone
but in this empty home
there is a spirit i tend to seek
and the river changed into a creek

Deadly as a sin
trying to cooperate
is just a hymn

I really like how this one flows from line to line. It grabbed my attention. The other ones are pretty good too, so I think you should share more poems =)
