D': I soo want to learn how to do that because it's just really pretty and neat.. >.< Ouch, that's good that you talked to him about it though. But considering he freaked out at the relationship idea, I personally woulda been like, "Alright, don't come running to me for anything like kissing or something, though." Personally, I prefer at least somewhat serious flings. I highly doubt it, too! D: I reallly dislike this one teacher, she gets on my nerves all the time.. :'D Mostly because she can't keep the class in control. So I just make things harder for her, I have tried to get out of that class, too! xD Books... the text books are lame and boring. I mean, sometimes I find interesting parts but even then.. THEY DON'T ADD ENOUGH INFORMATION... o.e They leave sooo much stuff out, it isn't even funny! :\\ I remember this one time, this girl at school asked me, "Hey, will you tell me what you think about this?" It was supposed to be a sexually arousing picture, and it was ok as one. However, I had a problem with her coloring, the way she drew the face, and the ropes. So I told her, "Why did you use that color for the background? It ruins your picture. If you used a brown or a blue, like you have on the elf chick, it would have looked a lot better! You should start to study color theory. That rope pattern? She'd be able to easily slip out of that, and the way you drew them... too thin. Her face is oddly shaped, as well. I know our styles are different, but don't bend the rules until you know them. Otherwise it looks fucked up." She got SO mad at me for saying that! "You have no right to say that! What the hell! This is MY picture, not YOURs!" I told her not to ask for my opinion then and to suck it up because her art is soo not even close to being amazing. (Mine isn't either, it's close to being good, but not amazing! Haha! C: ) The way some people react is just shocking.. ! >.< |
This week, during the break, I'll get around to at least most of the freebies.. (^_^);; Sorry for the very long wait everyone! Life has certainly picked up.

Well, I personally feel that your wording was a bit harsh, if that's exactly how you said it. You could have said the same thing in a slightly kinder way, and just made suggestions and given her some ideas for it. It came off more as an attact the way you worded it, I think. I can understand someone being offended by that. But yes, if you ask someone for an opinion, you should be able to take what they give you. However, I think that generally when people actually do ask for someones opinion, it's because they think they've done a really good job and they're actually just trying to show it off, and they're thinking the person will just compliment it and say it needs no adjustments. You know? I find that usually when people ask my opinion and I give them feedback, they don't appreciate it much, and they will then go to someone that'll just be like "That's great! :D" [roll] |
