Jun helped her aunt around the house so she wasn't sitting around starring at the clock. Sabrina just her a moment before smiling softly and pulling her niece a side. "Jun dear, I realize that you're only cleaning in order to make time go by quicker... It's not going to work." She said sweetly. Jun blushed and looked down at her feet. Sabrina gently lifted one of Jun's hands up and placed a little purple-cased cell phone in her palm. "There, now no matter where you are or what you're doing you can talk to him." Jun looked up at her aunt, then the phone, and back at her aunt. "Thank you so much!" She hugged Sabrina.

Jack was just about to dash out his front door again once he'd tidied up the house when he stopped just outside the door frame. The sky was opaque with a thin coat of early morning mist still lingering in the air. It set the soft, mild mood; as if to tell Jack he could take a breath and stop worrying about Jun disappearing on him suddenly. The past was done with, even if it was recent. Jack rocked back on his heels for a second. 'She'll wait for me,' he realized. Then he exhaled his stress in a huff of relief and made his way back to Jun's house.

Jun sat on the couch with her new cell phone and went through the different files and stuff, figured out how to add contacts, change the background and other things most girls do when they get their first phone. She added Sabrina's house number and Jack's cell number in the contacts, also assigning them to speed dial #1 and #2. Sabrina watched her niece figure out how to work the phone in a matter of minutes. It was a simple talk/text phone that cost $25/mo for limited talk and unlimited texting, but whatever minutes she didn't use simply rolled over into the next month and Jun wasn't one to talk much so she didn't have any worries. After a minute of watching Jun, Sabrina went back to her daily chores so they were out of the way.

When Jack got to Jun's house, he had already whistled up a tune and switched between some of the many songs he'd heard growing up. Some of them weren't even English, yet the lyrics still rung through his mind. Upon stepping up to the porch, Jack lifted his hand and knocked on the door in a rhythm that matched the song he had in his head at that time.

As is having a psychic moment, Jun answered the door a few moment after Jack reached the front door. She had the brightest, sweetest smile on her face she's when she saw him. Jun moved aside so he could come inside. "I've something to show you~" She chimed softly with a certain gleam of glee in her blueish-greenish-grayish eyes.

The tunes in Jack's mind faded when he saw Jun, and he would have admitted that it was a good deed to get them out of his head. Before he could even say hello, there was yet another spark of interest in his mind. "Show me?" Jack asked curiously.

Jun gently puled him inside and closed the door behind them before trying so hard to compress a giggle as she pulled her cell phone out of her pocket for Jack to see. "Now we can talk to each even when we're not together." She smiled the sweetest smile she could hold.

[[ Photophobia can mean two things- a fear of light (psychology, usually referred to as heliophobia instead) or a sensitivity to light (medical term). People with lighter colored eyes have a greater chance to have that sensitivity. >o< ]]

Jack laughed softly when Jun showed him her cellphone. "Silly," he said as he leaned in and kissed her cheek. "You'll always be with me. Right here-" Jack put a hand over his heart. Then he gave her a squeeze of a hug before standing upright again. He flipped his out of his back pocket and also held it out, as if to show how they matched. "Cellphones are great for the material world though. What's your number?"

Jun giggled a little, her cheeks turned pink when he kissed her cheek. She blinked a few times when he told her that she would always be in her heart, the hug caught her off guard and her cheeks turned red. "R-right..." Jun murmured softly, mostly to herself then shakes her head as if clearing her thoughts and showed Jack her cellphone number. "Here it is."

Jack read the number and double-checked that he'd put in the right information. He'd carelessly entered in incorrect information so many times in the past, so it wasn't a new thing for him to have it upside-down, but Jack was nevertheless more careful to not cause any troubles for Jun. Then he saved the contact and wrote up a semi-secret text message. "You know, you're really cute when you blush like that." Jack entered the last word and pressed send. Then he leaned back and smiled. "I saved it," he said with a hint of pride in his words. "Wanna go to the lake?"

She blinked when her phone buzzed and she looked at the message, blushing lightly. She didn't know how to react to that, so she tucked her phone safely into her back pocket, still blushing. Jun glanced back at her aunt when Jack asked if she wanted to go to the lake. Sabrina nodded with a soft smile. Jun looked back at Jack and smiled. "Sure!" She chirped happily with a following giggle.

Jack exhaled lightly, happy to know that Jun was able to go with him to yet another place in the world. Leaving his normal living routines was so empowering yet so dangerous at the same time since he'd left his borderline-illegal friends with nothing. To him, it was like a skilled acrobat walking on a tight rope with no safety net- just one more level of danger above what they were used to. "We'll check in." he promised back to Sabrina before he turned towards the door to open it and let Jun through first.

Sabrina nodded to Jack's words. "I trust you will." She said with a tender smile. Jun ran over to hug her lightly then skipped out the door and waited for Jack.

Let's do it <3 See, There is this giant oval of people that Jack is/was(?) involved in; on one far end is himself, not wanting to really do anything illegal but he happened to fall in so he stayed there, and there are his friends in the middle that walk the fence. Then, there are those people on the far end that barely avoid the hand of law every single time they run out and kill someone/use Ketamine/LSD. Should I bring those others to the lake as well? o: ]]

Jack closed the door behind him and followed out after Jun. "I want you to see the meteor shower tonight~" he said somewhat musically. It had been long enough, so he decided to give into his scientific nerd-side. "They're beautiful no matter what, but the effect is magnified when you're sitting on a dock watching the reflections as well. At least, that's how I remember it." He looked up at the sky. "Maybe it's happening now, but we won't be able to see it for a few hours at least."

Jun blinked a few times and slowly interlaced an arm with Jack's and used her free arm to "hug" his same arm, looking at him with curious (don't 'member her eye-color ;~;) eyes. "A meteor shower...?" She asked in a soft voice as if partially talking to herself. "I've heard stories about them... But that's it- I've never seen one." Jun added in the same soft voice as they walked.

Jack took his eyes from the sky and looked at Jun. He blinked once, trying to remember what he'd seen in France. "They're easier to see when you're not in the city," he said at first. "You can see shooting stars quite often if you're out in the open, but tonight it's going to be like in the stories-- much more lavish." Jack thought about bringing up the point that if a rock fell from the sky and it was big enough in size that it would probably break something or kill someone.

Jack looked up. The memories started flooding, how different it was before that day and how probably illicit and immoral his entire life was from when he moved to then. He never did get the chance to formally ask why it happened, either. It was for the best, but he suddenly wanted to know. "Jun, I didn't think it was appropriate ask earlier.. Why did you walk off that building?"

Jun looked up at the starry sky, a small smile formed on her lips. "If you make a wish on a shooting star...stories say the wish will come true..." She murmured quietly, a lump forming in her throat as her emotions welled up inside. Jun averted her glistening blue-green eyes to the ground. She knew her wish would never come true- because fate wouldn't allow it. She blinked when Jack said her name, and she looked at him with soft eyes. Jun looked back down at the ground and swallowed the lump. "My brother didn't just die- he killed himself because he knew he couldn't be helped and he didn't want to just slip away the way he was going to... The doctors refused to put him to sleep so he stole the gun of the policeman in his room since he was raising hell and shot himself- just like that. She had to pause a moment to suppress the burning prickle in her eyes as tears tried oh so very hard to push their way out.

"I was so young, I didn't understand what was going on..." She continued, referring to her being in the room when her brother shot himself. "Over the years of feeling so alone in the world to deal with the things that my brother normally dealt with- I couldn't handle it. It ate me alive for so many years... Thus leading to my attempt to...fly." Tears were streaming down her pale cheeks by time she finished talking.

Jack listened intently to Jun. He was conflicted, as he treasured hearing her voice but was broken on the inside to hear what had happened. His expression gave away to a soft sadness by the end of it. "Jun..." Jack wasn't sure what to say after that. He was sorry for her loss, but he would have done the same thing in her brother's position, and it would have been mean to wish for his presence if he were going to suffer. Jack wasn't sorry for saving Jun's life, either- he would do it over and over again if he had to- but he felt a tinge of guilt, like he was keeping her from something she loved. 'Couldn't be helped..?' he thought miserably. His expression defined itself a little more clearly. Jack then turned to face Jun, noticing her tears. All he could do was reach a gentle hand up and brush them away. With such a loss of words, he just gave in and hugged her tightly.

Jun sniffled, yet blushed when Jack gently brushed her tears away. She blushed brighter when he hugged her. Jun soon buried her face in his chest. "I love you Jack, so much more than words can explain- I'm glad I met you... You're always been there for me- ever since we met." She looked up at him at gently kissed his jawline since she couldn't quite reach his lips.

Jack kept his arms around Jun and listened. The sound of the water nearby played a sweet melody underneath Jun's voice and he closed his eyes. "It's so different," he said, remembering what he was used to. He reopened his eyes after Jun kissed him. "When I meet someone, they don't ever talk to me. We just act the parts, so when I bring up the stars they tell me to stop acting so freakishly out of character, when that out-of-character person is the real me.." Jack looked at Jun, subconsciously looking for that heartbreaking element- the part of the story where that person fulfills their own prophecy they heard not a minute earlier- yet that last part never happened with Jun. He smiled, content with returning her statement. "With you it's different. You've given me a chance to be myself and you accept me for it. I'm happy that I can talk to you and be with you and that there is time to express three words a thousand different ways. Jun--" Jack leaned in and nuzzled her neck, lowering his voice to a tone close to a whisper. "Really, I do. I love you."

Jun smiled as she listened to Jack. She was glad that he could be himself, he's what helped her come out of her shell and open her heart..to people she cares about... Jun didn't know what to say to him so she waited for the right moment- when he nuzzled her neck- and gently placed her hands on either of his cheeks and kissed him right on the lips. A tender kiss that only lasted a few minutes before she slowly pulled away. She smiled ever so sweetly, then blinked and turned her attention to the lake. Her blue-green eyes stared in awe. "Wow~ a lovely view with the love of my life..." She glanced at him and giggled lightly. "<3"

A strange, airy feeling got to Jack upon kissing Jun, like he was floating. Then it made his heart race and he was glad that the going light hid the faint crimson tint to his cheeks. When Jun looked out to the lake, Jack took her hand and motioned off in the distance a bit. "We could go sit on the docks that lead out across the water if you'd like," he offered. Jack used to sit on that dock occasionally with his feet over the edge when he wanted to escape for a day or two. "That way the entire sky reflects on the lake and we won't hear even the slightest bit of noise from the street nearby."

Jun looked at him when he held her hand and motioned off in the distance. She nodded with a sweet smile planted on her face. "I would love to~" Jun chirped happily.

Jack laughed at Jun's cuteness briefly before walking along the edge of the shoreline to the docks. He walked out across the wooden structure and then stopped at the edge, letting go of Jun's hand only to balance himself as he sat down. Just as he started to do so, he caught a glimpse of a tiny flash in the reflection of the water. When he looked up, tiny little dash marks were beginning to appear in the sky, some tinted a certain color and others as pure white as the moon. "Look," he said, using one hand to point up at them.

Jun followed him to the docks and stood next to him on the edge of the dock. She would've sat down, but then the meteor shower started so she stayed standing as if trying to be closer to them, so she could see the shooting stars more clearly. Her eyes stared in awe as she watched the event, her eyes seeming to sparkle. "Wooow~"
