Zack looked at her. " things started to go odd about a month ago when I got this first cross. Then a week ago I got the one on my neck and the church made plans for me to come here." he told her about what was going on and that he didn't feel safe there anymore as it was. "and if you are going to see him, then I am going with you. I am not letting you go on your own." he said not just looking tough, but actually not wanting her to get hurt.

'Churches aren't safe anymore...' Her thoughts whispered. Azria shook her head, shoving the thought out of her head. "If we go to the old wizard... Maybe he can tell us what's going on.." She said quietly as she stood. Azria gently picked up Chitter and set him on the couch. Of course, he protested and ran back up to her shoulder, hiding himself in her hair. He squeaked at her. She sighed softly under her breath. "The old wizard lives in a cave up in the mountains a few miles past the forest. I still have the ability to create a door that'll take us straight there if you want to take the easy route."

"that would be a faster way, if you are able to do that." zack said as he stood up as well. As long as he was with her he knew he could be safe, she was his guardian angel after all right? "however I can help, I'm here to do so. " he said wanting her to know that as well. He didn't know what all he was actually capable in doing, but he was sure going to try.

Azria smiled sweetly and gave a small nod. She prepared to keep him safe with the old wizard tried anything. Azria closed her eyes and a pure white door appeared before them. Upon opening her eyes she reached to turn the doorknob in which the door opened in-wards. Azria didn't like where the old wizard lived but they/she had to talk to him.. "Let's go Zack." She said softly before slowly entering the small room.

This room was set up like the person had an obsession with black magic or something, it gave Azi the creeps..

After azria was gone, zack took a deep breath and followed soon after. It was like a night and day difference, from his place to this one. It was all dark, and until his eyes adjusted he couldn't see anything. "this is where he is?" he asked quietly, as he was now standing close beside her. Anyone else would think this situation to be weird, but it was as easily put in his perspective as normal. He always read about thing like this, but just didn't expect it to actually happen to him. He didn't realize it but he was almost holding her had as protection.

Azria flickered her eyes around the area. An old wizard who had the whole wizard look going on appeared before the two and narrowed his eyes. "What do you want?" He asked in a sour tone. Azria gazed at the old man and shook her head. "Sour as ever I see... We need your help." The wizard raised an eyebrow. "You need my help?" She nodded. "That's right, we do."

The wizard sighed and brought up a chair for each of them. "I'm listening..."

Zack sat down cautiously, looking around as he did. He wasn't too sure if he was to speak or just be there as support. The more he sat there the more creeped out he was getting. the faling of fear hung in the air, and zack didn't know how to take it. "Is there a specific reason why i can see my guardian angel, and where did these crosses come from?" He asked kind short and looked right at the guy.

Azria didn't sit, she however keep her gaze locked on the old man. The wizard laughed and shook his head. "You and everyone else can see Azria because I, Ozzy Van Lani, put a spell on her and I won't tell you how to reverse it. As for the cross-tatoos on you your body.. I don't know what to tell you. How long have you been staying at the church of yours?" He asked as if having a lead on something.

"how did you know i stayed at a church?" Zack asked and stood up. he had said nothing yet about his past to this old man. "I have been there since i was 3" He added soon after. he still didn't like this guy. "And what spell did you do to her!" He added again starting to ticked off.

"I'm a wizard, we know everything we need to." He looked up at the boy as he thought. "That's a very long time... It's not the church's fault... " Ozzy continued to think. "Have you had any contact with a demon?" He asked, more so concerned about the boy's tattoo's. Azria sat in the chair next to Zack's chair.

"I was attacked by a hound about year ago." zack said starting to fear for him, as he was going to cause harm somehow. After he spoke, he looked down at her. "Why was she sent to protect me if I was going to be demon or something. They trying to start something, knowing what would happen in the end?" Zack thought to himself not knowing he was actually saying his thoughts.

"The cross's on your body are trying to prevent the change that the demon might have caused." Ozzy told him. "Azria was sent here as well to prevent it and if you did change, to stop you and to protect you from other demons." He continued, pointing at the boy to make his point. Azria blinked a few times and looked at the old wizard. "Is that why you made me physical??" She asked. Ozzy gave a small nod. "Correct." Ozzy answered.

Zack looked at the guy, and then over at her. "So your here to help me stop it and to do otherwise if i do change?" he asked her more less making sure he got it right. He was to become a demon or creature if something isnt done to stop it. That was kinda hard for him to think of, so he was just looking blank.

Azria glanced up at him, giving a small nod. "That's what I got out of it." Ozzy shook his head and sighed rather grumpily. "That's correct." Azi stood. "I'll stop the transformation before it happens! I don't know how but I will..." She said, dead serious. Azria had planned on finding away to stop the transformation. The old wizard chuckled and stood as well. "When there's a will, there's always a way." This made Azi smile a little and she nodded.

Zack blinked at her as she spoke about stoping it. "I woulnd want to do by someone I like.." he said in a soft muffle. And that was true, she was cute to him, and wanted to protect him. He didnt wan a be turned into something bad while someone as good was rit there, he just didn't want her hurt either. He looked at the wizard "thanks for the help.." he said softly and walked back through the door they came from. He sat on the couch again, this time more slouched over.

Azria went to followed just as the old wizard stopped her fro a second. "Don't do the forbidden young guardian..." He whispered so only she heard him. She blinked a few times and gave a small nod before walking out of the door and closed it, the door vanished. Azria went to her spot and sat on her knees like before. The 'forbidden' in which Ozzy mentioned to her was to fall in love with a mortal. It was the very first rule the ALL angels had.

Nothing bad would happen it was forbidden because angels and mortals lived in two completely different worlds and if one were to fall in love with a mortal, they would sent back to their own home in which they would never see that mortal again and vise-versa.. Azi didn't want that to happen. Her expression was blank in order to hide her feelings on the inside.

"so what are we going to do?" zack asked he as he slowly looked up. Were they to sit back and wait, or was there something that could be done first. His gaze was tired, and he closed his eyes falling backward, now laying on the couch. Working himself up too much he passed out, and the worrying nightmare took the place in his head.

When he fell asleep Azria's expression changed. It was filled with deep pain and sadness.. She slowly stood and leaned against the wall, finding herself staring at the floor in thought.

~~The Next Morning~~
Azi never went to sleep that night and she was in that exact spot only she was sitting with a head resting on her knees. She thought about what to do that whole night and even went over the plan that was had many times before she was satisfied. First she wanted to go to this church that Zack was going to..

Zack sat up and rubbed his eyes. Soon after he looked straight and saw her slumped over. "are.. You ok?" he asked softly as he started to move toward her. He could tell azria didn't sleep at all, and that made him worry some. "what's on your mind?" he asked again as he was now beside her, he didn't want her suffering this on her won. He would help all he could so she didn't have to fight him in the end and stop this changing thing.

Azria slowly lifted her head to look at Zack. "I'm scared Zack... What if we fail? I don't.." She took a deep breath when she felt her voice crack. "I don't know what'll happen... You're the best friend I've ever had and I.. I don't want to lose you..." Azria hugged her knees tightly. Her mind was a wreck, she couldn't think straight.. The only thing she could think about was Zack..

"I'm not to sure what will happen either, but all we can do is try." zack said as he got a little closer and placed a arm around her for comfort. He knew that the cross between angels and humans were forbidden, but it was getting close to having soingthing worse happen. "you won't lose me, I will always stay right by your side, no matter what happens." he said meaning every word. Even if he did change, he would fight it on the inside to stay by her side.

Her eyes went wide and she gazed at him with teary eyes. She was awestruck by his words that her feel like she had butterflies in her stomach. "Zack..." Azria managed to barely whispered. She glanced at the floor before slipping her hand into her pocket, pulling out a necklace that looked like an angel with its wings folded over its shoulders while holding a small diamond. "Here, a present." Azi handed the necklace to him.

Zack slowly took the necklace. "what's this for?" he asked her softly as he looked at it for a few moments before he put it around his own neck. He was a bit confused, but he knew there had to be a reason for this. He couldn't stop looking at it, looked so elegant. He would keep it close to him for as long as he could. "we will get through this alright." he said looking at her with a small smile.

"It's just a simple present for being so nice to me." She smiled sweetly. Azi gave a small nod. "I know we will..." She agreed quiet, finding herself calmer than before by just being around him.

Zeak smiled at her. "thank you, I'll repay you for this sometime, and don't say I don't have to because I know I don't.. I want to." he added as he stood up and offered her his hand. "shall we start today with some breakfast? Or you want to start finding answers?" he asked. Either one was good by him.
