"I think we'll stay, what do you think Callie?" Dean asked replying, Sam looked over at Angie "She looks like she is running a temperature, we sure she wont go into shock" now that was a possibility.
|
Callie looked at Dean, hiding her relief. "That would be very helpful," she said slowly. "But I wouldn't want to inconvenience you, make you stay here because you think you need to. If you have to go, I can handle things."
She moved over to Angie when Sam said that, checking her temperature and pulling the blankets more securely around her. She really, really hoped that Angie wouldn't go into shock. She had no idea what to do. |
Sam went into the other room to get a wash cloth and a bowl of cold water to put on her forehead. Angie wouldn't go into shock, if anything she would activate her powers while unconcious.
|
Callie stayed next to her, checking her over and making sure she would be okay. She was very worried about her friend.
Cas watched for a few moments before he looked at Dean again. "I believe it might be better for us to stay here for a few days," he said quietly. |
"Alright, well we'll keep an eye out for anything strange and just call this a vacation for now" Dean spoke as Sam added sitting down in a chair "I think we're overdue for one anyways" Dean and Sam were both fine with staying. 2 days or so had passed by, Angie kept getting higher in her fever and there wasn't much to do about it. She wasn't like most humans, so if she got sick it would have to be taken care of differently. Dean walked in one morning with some breakfast doughnuts and coffee for everyone. "I got some breakfast for us" Dean spoke sitting the doughnuts box holding 24 doughnuts on the table along with the coffee.
|
"Thanks." Callie yawned, sitting on the floor next to the couch. She'd been getting less sleep as she tried to stay awake all night to keep track of Angie, making sure she didn't get overheated or anything. She had dark smudges under her eyes, and she looked exhausted.
Cas looked over at Dean and nodded to show he'd heard before he looked at Callie speculatively. He was considering using his Grace to make her sleep for a few hours. |
"Callie, you need to sleep" Angie mumbled though she wasn't about to move, there was no way she would move with the wounds on her back, though she ignored it trying to sit up. "Callie, Angie's right...wait what?" Dean looked over seeing Angie slowly waking up and moving.
|
Callie didn't jump up and go hug Angie, but she did get up quickly. "How do you feel?" she asked, putting her hand to Angie's forehead and checking her over. "You should probably lie down until I can get some pillows to prop you up, get you something to eat and drink."
|
Angie shook her head "Just cold water would be nice" she didn't like to drink much but water and food was out of the question. She looked down to see herself wrapped in bandages and raised an eye brow "Someone wanna tell me whats going on with these?"
|
"You have two big rips in your back," Callie said gently. "They're healing, but kinda slowly. We bandaged them up so they wouldn't get infected or anything." She frowned.
"What do you remember?" Cas asked, standing a little bit behind Callie. |
"Um...everything, why?" angie asked making a pouty questionable look on her face. She wasn't sure what was going on but felt her back with her hand, she knew there was blood on the bandages but it didn't hurt. "I think they're gone" she added silently almost as if mumbling.
|
"Your wings?" Cas guessed, noticing where her hand was. "They have... folded in, if you will, for the time being. Until you need them again." To prove his point, he rustled his own wings, a light breeze blowing through the room before they settled into his vessel again.
Callie eyed him warily before retreating to the kitchen to get a glass of water for Angie, handing it over to her friend. |
angie took the water and was glad as she stated "No, I mean the marks, I know my wings arn't there. Callie will you help me to the bathroom?" she wanted to prove it but not to the guys if she didn't have a great shirt on. That would be embarassing and dean would most likely get hit. The brothers were just listening as the three went back and forth between eachother.
|
"Sure." Callie helped Angie to get up, helping support her and walking into the bathroom. She shut the door behind them, pointedly, and turned her attention back to Angie.
"What marks?" she asked quietly. "What are you talking about?" She was confused now, although she also wasn't function at 100%. |
Angie sat on the toilet seat with a closed lid and looked down at her thin shirt, she was going to have to change thats for sure. "Uh do you have a shirt I could borrow for a little bit?" she asked, preferbally one that showed off her back "One that can show my back?" she had a few shirts like this at her place, most tied around the neck, but her shirt was torn in the back and needed to change into something else.
|
"Yeah, sure," Callie said. "I'll be right back." She slipped out of the bathroom and into her room again, starting to rifle around.
It took her a minute, but she came back with two shirts: one dark blue shirt tied around the neck and around the waist, and the other only had a half-back, with a loose neck and most of the back bared, all tie-dyed and swirled colors. She normally wore them with camisoles, or when she was home alone, but they'd work. "Here. Whichever one you want." |
Angie looks that the two "I'll wear the tye dye one" she spoke taking it while turning her back towards Callie. "She carefully took off the bandages, when her back was shown, there was nothing there, except for for fairy outlined wings that took up most of her back (below picture) Angie slipped on the shirt glad that it fit her really well as she moved her hair to her shoulder side coming it slowly to straighten it. "Does it look bad?" she new the marks from her wings weren't there but she hadn't known about the faerie birthmark she has yet to figure out how to hide.

Callie blinked. "No, not at all," she said, looking her friend over. "Those wings are really cool, actually. It looks kind of like a tattoo. I don't think it is, but I'm not quite sure." She looked at Angie. "Regardless, I like it. It kinda fits you, somehow. You know?"
|
"Wings? what are you talking about?" now she was curious standing slowly and moving towards the bathroom mirror to look at the wings, they were black outlined wings, they covered most of her back. "Oh wow, thats something you dont see everyday" she stated and nodded "Come on, lets back to the boys"
|
Callie nodded her agreement and left the bathroom. She went straight to her fridge, pulling out a chilled coffee drink and taking a few sips. She needed all the caffeine she could get so she'd be able to run the bar tonight.
"You two planning on coming in again?" she asked Sam and Dean. |
"Sam and Dean nodded "Probably, why?" Dean asked looking towards Sam "As long as he doesn't pass out we will" "Hey, I was tired" sam argued ignoring the fact that Angie walked back into the room, she still felt sick a bit, but, it was better than when she passed out. "I think tonight is going to be fun" angie stated a bit before blacking out for a second losing her balance while about to hit the floor. 'not again' she thought to herself gaining it at the last moment however she fell against the couch supporting herself as her hair moved from her back to her shoulder near her face. Standing up again she sat on the couch drinking more of the water.

((lol! Nice!))
"Just asking," Callie said in response to those two. When Angie nearly fell, however, she went over to go hover over Angie. "Will you be okay here?" she asked. "You know if you want to eat anything you're welcome to whatever I have." Cas raised an eyebrow at Callie's fussing, but he didn't say anything. He would stay behind, as he had the other nights. He didn't much like bars anyway. |
(I was bored and needed something to do, so later when I get bored again, I am making you and Dean)
"Yea, I know, hey, Sam, Dean" Angie spoke as the two looked over "Why dont you instead of playing around, help her out" angie didn't think they would have done it before even if she wasn't around. Sam maybe, Dean, well not so sure. "Uh yea, good idea, how about it Callie, want some help tonight?" |
((That's a pretty sweet deal! Thanks, I love it! I almost never get art...))
"Um." Callie blinked. "It might be helpful, yeah. Mostly I just need help taking drinks back and forth, I guess." She wasn't used to having help. She'd opened the bar by herself, did all her inventory herself, and served everything herself. "Thanks, guys. That would be a big help." --------- Two days later, Sam Dean and Cas were still around. Angie was feeling better, and Callie didn't feel bad about leaving her in the evenings. Callie had shooed everyone out of the bar already, and was working on closing up when a sound made her look up. Half of the lights were off, and she had just finished taking in her earnings for the night. "Hello?" she called, looking around. Her fingers went to the bat she kept below the counter, just in case she ever needed it. She hadn't had to use it yet. And she didn't really want to. A shape moved up on her, and she briefly saw glowing eyes before something hit her in the chest, and she doubled over as her vision blurred and went dark. The figure moved away, apparently satisfied, leaving a dog laying in the middle of Callie's clothes, the same strawberry-blonde color as her hair. The dog didn't move but to breathe. |
"Uh, I think I'm going to check on Callie" Angie stated, finally glad her wings turned invisible on her back and that she was feeling so much better now. She was back to her old self, she had an odd feeling though, she worked enough of website lately talking to Castiel mostly as Dean normally helped her and Sam looked for new attacks or hauntings to investigate.
"Why? I just left her, I believe she is fine" Dean stated as Angie shook her head "I dont, I think something odd is going on" "Well thats your thoughts" Dean stated "Fine, we wait five more minutes, if I am right and lets hope not, then I get to go after you. "Alright, deal" for some reason a deal popped up between them and the minutes were barely going by as Angie snuck out without very much notice. She was able to slip into the bar looking around, it was a bit dark, though that could've been normal. Weird things besides the alice and rabbit deal didn't happen so often. |
