Void watched her go and sighed. "This woman cries to damn much!" He exclaimed to himself. It really wasn't anything to cry over. Just think of how you're going to fix your relationship and do it. It really wasn't that difficult. He thought she was a spaz anyway. He sat on the roof and sighed, looking out across the town. It wasn't his job to go after her and Frost wasn't here.

After awhile, Kara felt like she had cried every last tear left. She certainly felt dehydrated. Feeling tired, but deciding that it would be best to hydrate herself before she slept away her pain, she floated the cloud over to the kitchen so she could down at least 3 tall glasses of water. Hydrated, she floated back to the couch, resumed her previous position, and closed her eyes. Honestly... Frost could be such an idiot sometimes.

Frost had stayed a few extra hours with Flare. She had calmed him down and talked it out with him, plus he had to make that mirror for her. When he was done he headed home, but stopped in a small shop he saw with gorgous flowers in the window that he'd never seen before.

Soon enough, Kara had woken up. She rediscovered her bird's nest and immediately slid off the cloud. She grabbed her bag and set off to take a shower. The shower was the easy part, where she put in shampoo and conditioner and a little bit of de-tangler to help the conditioner. Now came the hard part. With a towel wrapped around her she began grooming in the mirror, humming as she did so.

Frost was soon on his way back with a large bouqet of many colored flowers. They were a strange breed of rose, one only found in the fairy kingdom. They were quite rare and it cost him a pretty penny to get. He'd put a layer of frost of the flowers to keep them fresh.

Eventually, Kara had been dressed in her favorite outfit ((see picture for profile)). Better yet, her hair no longer had any traces of tangles! Kara giggled and skipped downstairs. Frost would be home soon, she knew that, but for now she was going to enjoy the sun... and a little breeze, of course. So, she skipped outside and twirled around, reveling in the feeling of the wind flowing through her hair. She closed her eyes and laid down on the grass, a smile on her face.

Void looked down for the giggling, then rolled his eyes. This chick was just toooo moody. He laid back and soon fell asleep after he sensed Frost. Who, was coming down the road at that moment. He looked solemn, carrying the box that the flowers were in.

All of a sudden, Kara's smiles and giggles left. She opened her eyes and stared at nothing... she felt him... he was close. She sat up and looked around, soon spotting him. She bit her lip, took a deep breath, and stood up. She needed to apologize for this morning, that was rather rude. She fluttered over to him until she was floating next to him "Um... I'm, uh... I'm sorry about this morning. I should have woken you up a nicer way... sorry" she apologized quietly. She didn't want to look at him. To look at him would mean pain... she's felt enough pain for one day. Today was the emotional roller coaster of the worst kind: mood swings... at least that's what it looks like. Crying to giggling... yeah, sounds like mood swings.

Frost felt her near as well, but didn't react. His heart lept into his throat, but he soon shoved it back down so he could talk clearly. "Its quite alright. All's forgiven." He'd had a talk with Flare. She made him realize that if she didn't want to be with him, than he should just accept it and try not to push the matter. It would only hurt them both. He did try to apologize for snapping at her, but the words wouldn't come.

Kara sighed and stepped in front of him, grabbing his hand "no... I mean... I shouldn't have done that, I was just upset at you and I should've acted mature, instead of like a little kid. I... I had a lot of time to think today, after I left... and Void talked some sense into me... even though it took a nap for me to accept them. I'm... I don't know what to say anymore... I had this great speech that I planned to do and now... I don't know what to say. As much as I may profess that I want to be alone today... I really don't mean it... I'm just being moody for some reason. Anyway... I'll leave you alone now" she insisted and then turned around to float away. She took her time, though, because she really just wanted to be with him. If they separate now... she might not be able to recover from the empty feeling.

Frost was a little shocked by what she said. He didn't react at first, but he reached out with his free and and gently grabbed hers. He pulled her to him and hugged her with one arm. "I am sorry." He knew he'd deserved most of what he'd gotten that day. He was glad he got the flowers he did too. He hated seeing her so down. He wanted to see her smile.

Kara wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him back. Screw the consequences, this just felt too good... too perfect. "I'm really just upset about a little thing... but it just... feels so prevalent. Couldn't you just... give up that control of yours that makes you so perfect and so wonderful... just once? I mean... there's something to be said about a man who's willing to screw the consequences and kiss a girl, especially if said girl hasn't exactly been subtle with what she wants. I mean... I love your control, I really do... it shows me that if you're a jerk it's because either a) you're being dense, or b) I'm blowing everything out of proportion and interpreting it wrong. It proves to me that you're not going to hurt me... the normal way. But... could you just throw it to the wind... once!?" she asked him, pulling back to allow her to look at those wonderful eyes of his. For good measure (and extra "subtlety") she even leaned up until their noses were touching.

Frost listened to her, breathing stopped. He knew what she wanted, but could he give it to her? He looked right back at her when she literally right in front of him. Indecision and almost fear was in his eyes. He gripped the box he had tightly, frost starting to accumulate on his skin. Then he let out a breath and closed his eyes. He planted his lips on hers, softly at first.

The moment Frost's lips touched Kara's, her wings began to flutter excitedly, so much so that she rose from the ground a couple of inches for a few seconds. Wow... so much better then she was anticipating. She shut her eyes and eagerly kissed him back. "See... that wasn't so bad, was it? I mean... it's not like you didn't already know what my reaction would be" she mumbled during a pause. She brushed a lock of hair from his face and placed another kiss on his lips. "Come on, let's come inside. You're making everything cold" she invited, taking his hand and leading him inside. "What's in the box?" she asked.

Frost smiled a little now and kissed her a little deeper, then he smiled at her as she talked. "It wasn't so bad." He chuckled softly and kissed her back a second time. He nodded and squeezed her hand gently. "Oh. You may see when we get inside."

"Oooh! Sound's exciting" Kara chirped but didn't hurry any to get inside. Though a hot day, Frost still felt cold so she didn't worry about the heat too much, plus she liked being with him. "Would you have expected it to come this far when we first met?" she asked, thinking back to their meeting... it was rather rocky. For that matter, she wondered if Void witnessed their little... moment. He probably did... unless he was asleep... "I don't think Void likes me much" she mused.

Frost chuckled softly. "I think you'll like it." He closed his mouth and looked like he'd blown a secret. He wasn't sure if she thought it was for her or not. Then he looked at her and sighed softly. "No. When we met, I was just looking for something to excite my boring day." He shrugged, then blinked at her. "Its not that Void doesn't like you. I just don't think he cares. Most people he doesn't care what they think or do unless it directly involves him or his family." Then he seemed to look defensive, like he knew she wouldn't like what he was saying. "Besides, he told me he doesn't bother with moody girls."

Kara rose an eyebrow "I think that's the reason he doesn't like me. I'm too moody, always crying. Something like that anyway" she commented and opened the door "alright, come on! Show me what's in the box!!!" she demanded, her wings fluttering with excitement as she bounced excitedly, then she thought better of it. "Mm, no, wait" she added as she pulled his head down so she can plant a kiss on his lips. "Mmmm... Frosty. Ok, show me what's in the box!" she giggled.

Kara looked at Frost for a few seconds, gauging his expression before she opened the box. When she saw the contents, however, her eyes practically came out of her skull. She gulped and clumsily put it away. She was just in shock. Certainly those were for her since SHE opened the box. But oh my gosh! 1) they were her favorite flower, 2) there was a ton of them! "Frost... you... you didn't have to do that" she stammered out, her head still spinning with the reality. "Don't worry, I love them! I'm just... in shock, I mean... the last time I saw you we were having a huge fight... and then you go and buy these!?!!? Oh... it's just too much!" she managed to get out as she wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. "You are... simply amazing. Did you know that?" she asked as she listened to his heartbeat.

Frost watched her open the box, then smiled happily at her reaction. That was the look he had wanted to see. He hugged her to him happily and kissed her head. "I'm happy you love them so much."

Kara giggled and pulled back so she could look at Frost. "Just how much did this cost? I mean... just one costs a lot! You... oh my gosh" she marveled before she pulled him in for a long kiss. Her wings fluttered excitedly and shivers ran through her boddy. Oh wow... he's amazing.

Frost didn't even get a chance to answer as she kissed him. He smiled and pulled her closer as he kissed her deeply. Then he smiled and looked down at her. "I will never tell you how much they cost."

Kara giggled, pecked his lips again and settled into his arms. That is... before she began freaking out. "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!!! I need to go! I need a gift for Sweet Pea!!!" she gasped. She calmed down significantly and looked at Frost "you can come help me pick out a gift if you'd like" she invited softly before she began freaking out again. "What would she want? She's leaving her baby years and becoming a child, that's the most dangerous year for a pixie. I don't want to get something elaborate because the other pixies will be jealous, they don't have much you know" she rambled. Her personal communicator rang and Kara calmed down long enough to answer... only to start freaking out again. "WHAT?!!?!!??!" she managed to get out before she passed out from shock.

Frost watched her freak out, then caught her. He hadn't a clue what was going on. "Kara? Kara...wake up." He patted her cheeks and set her down on the porch. He picked up her reciever and read the message.
