[YAN SUCCESFULLY ADOPTED] Boo and Yan's Week in Review
Dear Journal,
After several unsuccessful years trying to conceive, I've decided to adopt a bouncing baby Yan. Here I will chronicle the adoption process and my attempts to bond with the pseudo Yan-baby I was given as a test of my parenting abilities. Here are a few images of our time together... 1. Yan arrived late at night but he insisted he was hungry, so I indulged him with a late night snack of triple chocolate ice cream. http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg600...jpg&res=medium 2. The extravagance didn't end there. Since Yan is a baby, this melon full of fruit was carved to look like a carriage. It's just the right size too...ACK! Yan get out of there! Journal entry #1 YAN ARRIVES!
After several painstaking minutes spent with a sharpie and scissors, I find myself the proud parent of a Yan facsimile. ^_^ It was well after midnight but the first thing Yan did was ask for food. Later that day, I arranged a celebration to welcome Yan into the family. My Momma made him this delicious chocolate cake, filled with rich ganache and topped with creamy fluffy frosting. I think she may have been a bit confused though. I'm sure I told her Yan was a boy... Here Yan poses with his presents.
