Ryo can be a full fox when he wants to and currently looks like this: http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...whZmV7JtbvdUoe
Ryo yipped and jumped in the air excitedly. There where flower petals everywhere and he jumped to get them with his teeth. He saw a boy sitting alone under the tree the petals were coming from. He snuck up behind him and nuzzled his hand like a cat, making a strange purring noise. He placed a petal on the boys lap. He yipped and curled up on his lap. The boy was really cute. |
Ikuto sighed and sat under a tree. His parents had dragged him to the park... again. It's not that he didn't like the park, it's just the fact that his parents always did what his little sister wanted to do. It's always, "Sissy wants this," and "Sissy wants that." But what about Ikuto? When do they ever consider what he wants?
"Oh well," he sighed again. "There's nothing to be done about it." And then.. Ikuto was slightly startled when this furry thing started to touch his hand. "What in the..." When the furball placed a petal in the kid's lap and curled up right on his lap, Ikuto couldn't help but think that it was probably the cutest little fox he'd ever seen. "Now, where did you come from?" he whispered, stroking the fox's head. "You're quite the adorable kitsune, you know?" |
Ryo rolled on his tummy and closed his eyes purring softly. He yawned and streched out on Ikuto's lap. He whined softly for Ikuto to rub his tummy. He really liked this boys compliments. It had been so long since anyone had talked to him, or fed him, or just petted him.
|
"Hahaha!" Ikuto laughed heartily. He began to rub the fox's tummy gently, grinning from ear to ear.
His demeanor changed, however, as he began to think. "You little thing... Doesn't anyone take care of you? Maybe you should go back to your mother or something... I don't think it'd be pleasant for a momma fox to go ballistic on me, eh?" he chuckled, still petting him. Even though he said that, Ikuto really didn't want to let him go. He didn't know what it was, but he really wanted to take the little guy home with him. |
Ryo whimpered slightly. He had no mother to return to. He had no family at all. He jumped onto Ikuto's shoulders and laid around his neck. He probaly looked like one of those fox pelts rich lady's wore. That thought made him shiver. He would never want to be skinned alive. He yawned and fell asleep.
|
"...Well, damn, you're too cute. Cuteness overload," Ikuto whispered. "I'm gonna take you home..."
Bam. It hit him -- How in the world would he get his parents to agree to this? There had to be a way.... Perhaps he could just keep the fox a secret? Yeah. That could work! Gently, Ikuto took the fox off his shoulders and cradled him in his arms, quickly exiting the park in an effort to avoid his parents at all costs. About ten minutes later, the boy and fox were safely in Ikuto's room. After Ikuto called his parents and made up an excuse for his leaving the park, he tried to make the fox comfortable by wrapping him a light blanket. "Ah... I better be able to pull this off," he muttered, shaking his head. |
Ryo peeked one eye open. He was in a room! He jumped up and pranced around smelling everything. He found a box of little Debbie treats under the bed. He pulled out the box and crawled in, trying to pull out one of the cakes. He whined. He was stuck. He tried desperately to get out. He ran into a bet post blindly. He yipped and ran around trying to get out.
|
"Whoa!! Hold up, kitsune!" Ikuto sprinted over to the frantic fox and picked him up gently, lightly pulling the box off of his head. "You silly kitsune..." He shook his head. Then, he looked at the box. Little Debbie treat? he thought.
"You wanted one of these?" Ikuto sat on the ground and crossed his legs, placing the fox right in his lap. Then, he took one of the cakes out and broke off a piece, holding it in his hand near the fox's mouth. "Here you go, silly." |
Ryo jumped up and ate the treat hungerly. He was careful not to bite the boys fingers. When he finished the piece he begged for more. He made little whining sounds and stood on his hind legs swatting at the rest of the treat trying to get it. He looked at his new master and begged some more. His eyes were big and he made himself look extra adorable.
|
"Oh, for the love of God! Those eyes! Here, here, one more piece, and that's it. After this one, I'm making you some normal, healthy food, got it?" Ikuto broke off another piece and fed it to the fox, petting it's head as it munched away.
"Gosh," he sighed. "Alright, c'mon, I'm cooking for you now before you get fat off of Little Debbie cakes." He picked the fox up, cradling him in his arms once again, and made his way down to the kitchen. He set the fox on the floor and poured some milk into a bowl for him. "Drink up~." |
Ryo lapped up the milk at hyper speed and then crawled up in the bowl and curled into a little ball. He yawned. He was about to take another nap. Not because he was tired, just because he could.
|
"Ehhh..." he sighed. "At least wait until after I cook you dinner!" Quickly, he gathered together all the ingredients he needed to make some chicken and went on his way.
About a half hour later, he was placing a plate full of chicken breast on the floor for his new companion. "Eat up, if you can, sleepy-head," he chuckled, winking at the orange fluffball. |
Ryo jumped out of the bowl causing it to turn over. He ate the chicken quickly and hungerly. I wa soo good. When he had finishe the whole plate he ran to the boys bed and jumped on it. He went into his slightly human form. He looked like a person, only he had ears and a tail. He stuck his tounge out playfully at his new friend.
|
Ikuto ran after the fox. "Hey, get back here you little --!" ... "Wh-what the.. heck..." he sputtered. As he entered his room, he laid his eyes on dark-haired boy, about his age, laying in his bed, sticking his tongue out at him.
"Wh-Who the heck are you!? How'd you get in my house!?" Ikuto yelled, freaking out. He couldn't even fathom how this kid got into his room. His thoughts completely drifted off the fact that the fox was the only one who went into his room before. "I don't... I..." |
He held him bushy tail and stroked it. "You don't reconize me? I'm your beloved little kitsune." he have a smile that made him look very cat like. His tail and ears were black in this form. He looked at his master. "You save me you know." he brushed up agianst the other boy still acting quite like a fox. He didn't have very human behavior skills. He sat cross-legged on the bed. "Do you want me to leave?" he looked at the boy. He seemed not to want him now. He was confused. Was he not still cute? He looked up with the same eyes as he had when he begged for the Debbie cake. Maybe this would work?
|
"My... My kitsune...?" Ikuto shivered as the fox-boy brushed against him. He was still acting like a fox... even as a human.
"Oh GOD, the eyes! It's definitely you," Ikuto said suddenly, slamming his palm into his forehead. "I can't believe this..." he muttered. "You're a kid. You're a fox. You're a... boy-fox..." His head was spinning at the idea. I can't believe I took a kid home with me! he thought. This secret is gargantuan... Pray to Kami-sama that my parents don't find out. "No," Ikuto sighed, looking at the boy with soft eyes. "I definitely do not want you to leave, but... don't you have other family? They must be worried about you." Once again, he didn't want him to leave, and tried his hardest to mask the sad gleam in his eye. |
Ryo looked sad and shook his head. "No I don't have a family. I haven't for a long time. He looked at his friend. "You can be mine!" he squealed and jumped on the boy. "My name is Ryo, what's yours?" he jumped back on the bed and curled up.
|
Sheesh, what a hyperactive kid... Ikuto thought.
"Ryo, eh?" Ikuto sat next to Ryo and crossed his legs. "Hey, I'm sorry that you don't have a family. But you can stay here. So, yeah! I'll be your family!" His wide grin reappeared on his face, his brown eyes sparkling. "There's one condition though! You definitely cannot make it obvious that you're staying here! If my parents find out, they'll kick you out, or maybe even kick me out." Ikuto sighed deeply and looked down, but then snapped his head up with a fierce gleam in his eyes. "We'll just have to do everything we can to keep you here, Ryo. I'm not letting you go back out there alone!" He put his hand on Ryo's head and stroked his hair. |
Ryo purred at Ikuto's touch to his head and curled up beside him. He would have to remain in his fox form when his masters family was home so he could hide easily. That would be ok though. He liked Ikuto alot. He was nice, handsome, and took good care of him.
|
Ikuto sighed deeply once again, but this time with a hint of happiness. He didn't want Ryo to leave now. The fox-boy was adorable, and his eyes captivated Ikuto. Not only that, the kid didn't have a home to go to. There was no way Ikuto would let that stick.
"This should be fun, hm?" he laughed, stroking Ryo's back. "I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you. But you'll have to stay as a fox when school starts again, okay?" Ikuto laid back onto his bed and folded his hands under his head. |
"School? Ooo can I come!? In your backpack please? I'll be good!" he gave him his begging eyes. "Please" he held hid hand together in an almost prayer like way.
|
"ARG, not the eyes again!" he whimpered. "You know I can't withstand that." Ikuto stared at Ryo, contemplating what kinds of things could happen at school if Ryo was in his backpack.
If... If he starts making noises... Ikuto began, his mind wandering. Then everyone's going to know that I have something in there. And then he could be found. And then my parents would get a call... NO. Okay. Think. Daaaaamn.... "How about this, Ryo," he said after a few minutes, sitting upright again. He smiled slightly and continued. "You can come to school in my backpack, but you have to be quiet. If you're not quiet, I won't be able to keep you. I'll be able to take you out of my bag during lunch; we'll go to the roof and be able to just... hang out." |
Ryo squeed with excitement. "Ok I promise! I'll sleep until time for lunch." he gave Ikuto a big hug. He then heard the others coming in the front door. He quickly turned into a little fox and hid under the bed. He found another Debbie cake under there and opened it with his teeth. He began to eat it. He waited for his master to tell him it was ok to come out.
