A god's Love: (Private: Pokered Face and miss_afi)
This is a private role-play, meaning one-on-one, between the two users that are in the title. It's meant for only those two people only. If you are those people, do not post in the thread.
A god's love: For centuries, gods have roamed the earth. There have been decrees by some that allowing a god to roam as humans would upset the natural balance but there has never been any bad happenings as of yet. It was also argued that gods who find human love should be banned. It has never been decided what should really happen, but the god council has spoken that it could possibly be acquired that all gods must cut ties with roaming the human world, and say good-bye to their human loves. Some gods however have conceived demi-god children and that forces them to choose between being a god OR living a human life. Some have chosen to live the human life and some have not, but they have always found some way to communicate to their loves, families and friends. However, it was dismissed that gods should not find mythical being loves. Since mythical beings are not of human status, it does not affect the "natural balance" if a god and another creature conceive a child together. My character is Azarath. He is a "new-born" god, meaning that he was recently acknowledged as a full god, who seeks nothing but to find someone special. He is the god of Blood Shed, meaning he is usually the one who over-sees the human wars and other wars of other creatures. He gains his strength by the amount of blood is shed daily. He was a demi-god. His mother was a goddess and his father was human. His mother chose to live as a human, and left her child with Zeus to care for him. Zeus, allows Azarath to visit his mother, but he can't stay, too long to see her. He is also somewhat of a rebel. He frequents roaming with the mortals and sometimes, gets a little romantic. He knows the rules, but he has the uncanny ability to get by them. He does long for a long-time companion, but he is never really taken seriously by young goddesses OR humans. Can he find the love he is looking for? Azarath looks like this in his god form. He doesn't change form, but when not guising as a human, he wears the same clothes and equips his Claws of Blood Shed. In his human guise, his face softens up a bit. He wears clothing that covers up most of this tattoos since they are the marking of his god-ness. A classic outfit for the winter includes a fur jacket, and long pants. An example would be: click. |
My character is Eira. She is an undine, a water spirit. She can disguise herself as a human though.
http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...s/Undine-1.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...les/Undine.jpg She has always been told that she would have her future husband picked for her, but that does not keep her from going into the human world and dating them. she has always wanted to find someone for herself and not be told who she was supposed to be married to. Her parents are both highly respected spirits and have a reputation to keep up. Eira doesn't care about that though and wants to be on her own. |
Azarath roamed the streets of a new city to him. He had absolutely no direction of where he was going, nor did he really care. It was a bit hot outside, but he knew he couldn't let people see his tattoos. He was wearing a thin jacket over a muscle shirt. He did have some cargo shorts on, though. He was into the current mortal fashions, the shoes were a bit more comfortable than the leather sandals the gods wear. He strolled around, not really knowing where he would end up. |
Eira sat by the water, feeding the ducks. She looked into the water, loving how it reflected everything. She stood up when she was out of food and threw away her bag. She started walking around, knowing she had a lot of time today. Her parents were in some meeting. She sighed and crossed her arms, glad that her blue hair was easily dismissed as hair dye.

(( Where are you currently? On Earth? Or in the Realm of Gods? ))
Azarath continued to walk around and roam with his hood up. He didn't really know exactly what he was doing just roaming around, but he did want to stop for a second seeing that he could feel beads of sweat roll down his forehead. He had never seen such a hot sun before, it was really beating down on him since everyone around him seemed to be wearing short sleeves or sleeveless shirts, but he couldn't allow them to see his tattoos, so the keep his jacket on. Azarath stopped by a diner. He was a God, and they necessarily don't eat human food, but he was really looking to spend some time somewhere. He ordered a few items off the menu and paid for them prior to eating them. It tasted really good, to him, though he never really remembered ever eating mortal food, nor had he even tried to. |
(Earth)
Eira sat down outside of a diner and looked around. She hated human food, unless it was a salad. Or she sometimes got sushi and ate just the seaweed. That was mostly what they ate at home. She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and closed her eyes. She wasn't used to the sun yet, but she did like how it felt when some hit her. Too much and she hated it. This was a nice day though. She looked around her, noticing all the happy couples. She frowned slightly and wanted it to start raining. That would show them...No. She couldn't be upset with them. |
Azarath took another look around the diner. He hadn't noticed much different about it, but a blue-haired girl caught his attention. Mainly because she had blue hair. Not many humans could pull of that shade of blue, but he had no suspicions of her yet. He kept eating the food he had ordered, he wasn't near finishing the food or wanting to stop eating the food. He did give occasional glances to the blue-haired girl, though. |
Eira looked at her feet and then back at the diner. She sighed, knowing she had to eat soon. She stood up and went inside, looking around. It was very busy. She bit her lip, considering leaving. It was too busy here.
|
It seemed as if the girl was contradicting herself. She just stood there, in the sun. Not really choosing to come inside. Azarath contemplated if he would just randomly ask her to come and join him for some food and buy her something, but he wasn't too sure exactly how to approach her, but it seemed like the nice thing to do at least. He left his food on the diner table and gestured to the waitress not to pick his food up. He opened the diner door and looked at the girl. He didn't know her name, but he could ask it later. "Um, excuse me miss, are you hungry? I can offer to buy you some, it's a bit too hot to be outside just standing there," he said. |
Eira looked at the guy speaking to her. Should she let him? "You don't have to buy it for me...It would be nice to share a table though." She shrugged, hoping she wasn't offending him. She never felt like it was nice to make someone else pay for her food. It was her food after all. They were getting nothing out of it. If he agreed to share a table then she would be able to eat. That was a good thing.
|
"Well, that is better than nothing," he said with a handsome smile and he opened the door all the way and gestured her in like a fancy waiter or escort. He lead her to his table and he immediately called the waitress to take her order shortly after.
|
Eira smiled and walked in, following him to his table. once there she sat down and didn't need to look at the menu. She ordered a plain salad and water. Nothing fancy, but that was what she liked. "Thank you for sharing your table." she smiled at him, glad that there were some nice people on this planet.
|
"It's no problem," he said, "so, what's your name?" |
Eira looked at him and smiled. "I'm Eira...you? Not that it mattered all that much. She would never see him again.
|
"My name is Azarath," he said giving her a small smile. He took another sip of his beverage. |
She smiled and nodded, speaking quietly. "That's an interesting name. I can't say I've heard too many people with that name."
|
"Yes, not many people have that name," he said, "do you live around here?" |
Eira smiled and then nodded. "Yeah. I do. What about you? She took a sip of her water and sighed happily.
|
"I live in a whole 'nother world, well, you know what I mean, but I do come here often and I do have a temporary home with a friend," he said. He nearly giggled at the whole 'nother world part. |
Eira nodded, confused a bit by the look on his face. It was if she was missing some joke. She shook it off and then smiled. That's how I kind of am. I try to stay here as long as I can though.
|
"Ah, where I live at, not many people actually like roaming around here. I like it though, I'd hate to go back so soon," he said. |
She nodded and looked at the waitress as she brought the food to the table. "It is nice here."
|
"Very nice. It is quite peaceful when you want to escape from all of the madness life and death can bring you," he said. "So, what do you do here?"
|
Eira looked at him and thought for a second. "Well...I kind of do...I work to keep the water clean."
|
"Well, that is something good. Better than me. I just do whatever I can do," Azarath said giving a bold chuckle. |
