Shrugging, Fenris said, "Not much. Just worried about her. Some anesthetics she has a negative reaction to. just about anything ending in -ine- or -cane makes her violent and or loopy.."

"Ow okay.... I'm guessing violent host? Hm... well I'll keep that in mind, thank you." the doctor said softly before he left down the hall and to the right to go to a room where they kept the anesthics and went looking for something that would hopefully not have such a bad effect on Night.

Fenris tried not to laugh at that. Amore, Violent? he thought to himself, Never. Smirking a bit, he looked over, and his heart fell. Drake was still crying, and Night was out of tears, but still sobbing.

Not but five minutes passed before the doctor came back with a nurse fallowing him with a cart with medicines on it and such. "Okay... may I ask you two to leave? I'm sorry... we need to get her ready for surgery... ow I'm so rude! what were your names?" he asked softly and smiled some good naturedly and kindly.

Jerking his thumb at himself and Drake he said, "I'm Fenris, and Drake over there's the father." He grabbed Drake and forcibly pulled him out. Drake screamed louder, and was fighting to stay by night's side, however, Fenris' greater strength forced him out.

Night whimpered when Drake was pulled away from her and she reached out to him but he was just pulled away and out of the room by Fenris. She then spoke with the doctor for a moment before he gave her some of their painkillers before giving her the anesthetics so she wouldn't have to feel the pricking of the needle.

....1 hour later....

The doctor sighed softly as he came out of the oporating room they had wheeled Night into and went into the waiting room to find Drake and Fenris. "She's just asleep now... she'll need some rest but you can take her home if you so wish." he said softly to the two and hoped that everything would get better for them since he, like every other soul, hated seeing people upset.

As soon as Drake was able, He threw his arms around Night, and began to cry again. He felt horrible for her. He wanted to do ANYTHING to make her feel better. Fenris nodded his thanks to the doctor, and asked, "Were there any complications? She's okay right?"

Night groaned softly in her unconsciousness though did lean into Drake a bit through clearly wasn't awake. "Not really... though it did seem that her body had been under allot of stress for a long period of time so I would just suggest trying to keep her as calm as possible for awhile okay? Other then that you are free to leave with her now." the doctor said softly then gave a small smile and hoped that everything would start getting better for them soon.

Fenris nodded, and wheeled Night out. "Act natural," he whispered to Drake, "We're mostly outta here." Drake nodded, but wouldn't let go of Night's hand. Fenris felt sad. He really missed night, but he didn't know if she'd ever come back.

Once they were at the car Drake carefully picked up Night and sat in the back with her and held her close even after fastening them both in. He was still majorly upset but there was nothing any of them could do... especially now since she no longer had his baby inside of her. Tears came back to his eyes as he thought of that and he put his face in her hair feeling saddened still and knew he would for quite some time to come.

After an hour or so of driving, Fenris looked back, and asked gently, "How're you ding?" He was sorry for them, but he didn't know how to help.

"I'm a mess... and she's still asleep..." Drake said quietly and in a sad voice since he had finally calmed and really now all he was was sad and upset in stead of mad and frustrated. He laid his head back down on Night's and softly closed his eyes still just wishing that this was all just a dream and that his daughter hadn't have died.

Fenris sighed. "I wish that I knew how to help you man.... I really do." the rest of the drive was spent in silence.

"it's okay... I know it's kinda hard for you to know what to say in this case..." Drake said softly then was silent for the rest of the trip back. He then took Night to the room that he was now bunking in with Fenris since Sintro had decided he wasn't going to stay in the same room as Night... he just hadn't felt comfortable.

Fenris wandered towards doc's place. He was going to ask about if he wanted the tranquilizers. Walking in, he said, "Yo. Doc! You in there?"

"Hm? Yes Fenris?" Doc said smiling some as he turned to him though had no idea that what he thought earlier about the baby was true. "How did your visit to souls doctors? Hows Night and the baby? Everything go well." he asked still having no idea that this would be a touchy subject right now since him and Drake and Night had just found out that Night had lost the baby.

Fenris winced and said, "Not as well as me might like..... They lost the baby..."

"Ow... I'm sorry to hear that... are they okay?" Doc asked softly and worriedly having flushed to what he heard and really was saddened by it and felt horrible... he just wished that there was something they could have done but knew there was nothing any of them could have done to help...

Fenris sighed and said, "I have no clue.... but I saw that they had anesthetics, and i saw where they were kept... would you like me to go get some later?"

"Yes, I would greatly appreciat that... though just to be safe I would wait till Night was better or Amore was in control so you have less chances of being caught." Doc said softly feeling horrible that the two had lost their baby and wished that there was something that he could have done.

fenris nodded, and asked, "Is there anything you think i should do? I'm out of ideas here."

"I would say just comfort them and try to tell them you're not mad at them about Night getting pregnant... that might actually be why... I would tell she had been feeling awful ever since she got pregnant because you were kinda being snappy towards the both of them... but I'm not saying it's your fault! Don't get me wrong, I just think that she might have lost the baby because of stress." Doc said softly and hoped that Fenris didn't take that the wrong way but felt that he would.

Fenris nodded, and said, "Thanks doc." outwardly, he seemed only to be lost in thought. But inside, he became a swirling vortex of depression and anger. ":I'll be seeing you. And he walked away.

"Good bye Fenris... I'm sorry if what I said bothered you." Doc called before going back to what he had been doing before and wondered some what everyone else was doing.

Fenris called over his shoulder "Nah, you're cool. and walked towards his room."

Meanwhile.....

Drake sat by Night, holding her hand while he waited for her to wake up.
