New to this! ^^(help please..?)
 
well..one of my friends on Gaia Online said this is made by the creators of Gaia, and i was wandering if you make gold the same way as Gaia....

to make gold you play games and post in forums. the longer the post the more gold you earn. and welcome to menewsha!

Mene wasn't created by the creators of Gaia. Shoot, I can't actually remember the name of the site that the guy who made Mene was part owner of...but it was this whole scandalous thing when it happened since he took like half the staff from the previous site and brought them here. Then he sold the site and created a new site (kinsaki...I wonder if that's still around...) anyway, drama. But don't all the best sites have their beginnings in drama? lol.
Anyway, I just wanted to make the correction...since people are always comparing the two (Mene and Gaia) but other than being avatar dress up sites the two are quite different.

As for gold earning, type! Each character is worth .2 gold. So the more you type the more gold you get. (however spamming worthless information, copy/pasted stuff from other sites/this site/stuff you didn't write yourself etc gets deleted along with the gold earned from it... anyway) Yeah. Posting is probably the fastest way to earn gold, no limits. (:

It's pretty simple here :) All you have to do is post in forums (posts in profiles and PM's don't count), and you can also play the games available. That's pretty much it! :) The most you can get per post is 30 at the moment, I believe, and that's for quite a few paragraphs. Compared to Gaia it's harder to get gold in my opinion, but it's an amazing community and items are far cheaper :)

woohoo! learned something new! lol. I'd been wondering since someone that I knew to be a mod there has been frequenting here more and more often. I suppose she may have just stepped down then.
