Yes, I can imagine that you're busy quite often as event coordinator and such. I stop by there once in a while, depends on if I'm posting across the site or just sticking to the charity/quest corners. Depends a bit on my mood. If I am feeling impatient, I don't go and run off to greet new members, as I wouldn't be as patient with them as they deserve, and I'd hate for new members to run away because I was snappish.

I don't focus much on the event commons anyway. They will still be there later. Sure, double the price... but also more than double the time to get them. XD

For safety going with Valentine, even if I have no idea if there'll be an event then. If not, I have more time. Better go and have more time than expected than assume there won't be a Val event and get much less time than suspected.

Yes, but most of the time? Meh, I treat it as "won't get anything anyway", that way it's nice when I get something after all and not as much of a disappointment when I lose on a Q or 2. XD

Ah xD but it's rare to lose on a Q or 2! I mean the odds are in your favor!

75% of my losses are on 2, 3, J or Q, actually.

(Mostly because I collect usually if stumbling upon something with worse odds than those if I already have at least 1-2 points)

Only times I got above 5 points on a single game of chance were when at least half of the cards were either A or K. XD

In fact, I've even gone to three points on a 6 and two 8s, then lost it on a 2.
