Cora: It's easy to forget about them, eh? xD After three... it's pretty easy. Either I don't fall asleep in spite of trying, in which case I only frustrate myself, or I do fall asleep, in which case I'll probably wake up around 11PM.
Neither really sound good to me. |
@Silenia: Ah well...it was comfy at the time. xD
@Cora: I know quite a few people that are wanting to go into teaching. Primary education mostly, which is just too competitive to get into at the moment. |
True, but was that comfy-ness worth this pain? xD
I don't mind pain, so I'd say yes. xD
Ah. You're the kind of people I can connect well with.
Just 'not minding' pain, or..? xD |
I quite like pain. ;D The boyfriend does too, so it makes things quite interesting haha. Most of the people I know here think that's weird though, so we have to pretend everything is vanilla and the likes. >.>
@Sellie- understandable.
@Himalia- yeah.....I know like 4 people with teaching degrees and no where to go. @convo- I don't think its all that weird *shrugs* |
@Cora: Yeah, sadly this sort of economic climate isn't the best time for teachers, especially as people in developed countries such as the UK and US aren't having as many children as they used to, so teaching and nursery staff are no longer in high demand, especially in more rural areas. I mean, for example there are some schools in my area that have the entire first grade class made up of three students. xD
Yeah, sadly the majority of people 'round here are pretty close minded. xD |
3 first graders!?
thats worse then here for sure. |
Yeah, most of the villages near where I live are tiny! D;
our villiage only has 300 people in it. Which is small.....but they don't have a school, they take the bus about an hours drive to the nearest town.
Back around.
Himalia: lol, I don't bother with pretending all is vanilla most of the time. xD |
@Cora: I live in a town of 12000, which is positively massive in this area. xD
@Silenia: haha most people I'm close to know by now that it's not. :p Vanilla isn't as fun, so I feel sorry for them. xD |
And you should feel sorry for them indeed.
It's getting too cold for outside fun now though, which is a shame. D;
@himalia- that is roughly the size of the town where the school is around here.
The town I live in has one of the largest primary schools and secondary schools in the area, because the nearby city has many little ones dotted around.
Himalia: Ah, here it's still possible, the weather has just been unpredictable for a while now.
At nights it's waaay too cold now. During the day it would be fine, but we're both in college and most of our free time is at nights. So we've had to compromise at sneaking into our houses when everyone else is asleep or just driving somewhere quiet. xD Where there's a will there's a way and all that. xD
Ah but snow can be fun too *shifty eyes*
Haha, thankfully we've not had snow yet. I think I'd cry if we got snow again, it didn't leave until April this year! D;
yeah last winter was rediculously long.
It really was. D; I hate winter anyway.
I love winter, hence why I live in an area prone to snow....but winter last year lasted like.....6 months.
I prefer summer, it's warm and sunny. Well, in theory it should be, but Scotland doesn't seem to follow that rule. ;D
