If I were in an anime, I would hope it would be horror, or adventurous.
There would have to be some disturbing creatures, one that would keep me up and fearful. Oddly, I hate being afraid, but just those creatures entice me, and captivate my attention. Not something like Amnesia the Dark Descent, however. I'm afraid I'd rather be able to fight back. And, if I couldn't be my character, I'd like to have my character by my side.
So, that would make beings who could steal souls, undead, mutant freaks, and fantasy beings. So something like Hellsing mixed with Noblesse and perhaps a tad bit of loyal or semi-loyal immortals like in Kuroshitsuji.
Now, if I was my character, I would me one of those immortals, I suppose.
