Sam sniffed around and heard her stomach growl. She had t found some good berrys to eat all day and just wanted to find some before her stomach ate her. The thought of berrys made her stomach growl even louder then. Sitting she sat down for a second and relaxed a little bit. She just wanted to compose herself but then a gust of wind came out of no were and he sent of berrys came with it. Right away she jumped to her feet and ran towards the sent. Soon she found a bush of peach berrys and instantly she started to eat them. They tasted wonderful and she only wanted to eat more of them.

((okay started))

Flames ears pricked up from his nap from hearing a rustle in his bush. He slowly got up looking around the side of the bush. Seeing another pokemon that he had never seen before he let out a small bark, "Hey!" he said jumping out from behind the bush looking at the pokemon. "Those are mine! I found them!" He said with a small whine. Although Flames was trying to be defensive he was timid and scared.

Sam continued to chomp down on the berrys till she heard a growl and another pokemon talk. She took a step back out of frigt since she wasn't to sure what else to do. Any pokemon she had met ever since coming here had been mean to her and so far so was this on. "sorry, I-I am just very hungry and when I smelled the berrys I couldn't stop myself." she said as she looked down at the ground. She could now smell thr pokemons sent all over the bush and realized this was the forst pokemon of this kind she had seen.

Flames looked at the other pkmn and realized it was as scared as he was. "Oh..." He said moving back a bit, "No it's okay....I just thought you were another bully..." He said with a frown. He looked down at his paws warily.

Sam relaxed slightly when she heard the pokemon and took a look at him. He looked weird and she slowly walked over to him. "what kind of pokemon are you? I never saw one of you before." she said as she started to sniff him over and he smelled of fire. She smiled and knew right away he was a fire type like her and was glad about that.

"I'm a Houndour pup…" He said softly sniffig the other pkmn. He noticed as well that she smelled like fore which relaxed him a bit, "what are you?" he asked curriously. He tilted his head to the side looking at her.

Sam looked at the houndour pup and chuckled wHen he asked her what she was. "well I am a growlithe pup." she said as she sat down and looked at him. "so what is your name and why are you out here?" she asked since she hadn't seen anyone like him before and he was surounded by bullies. She was sure that he would ofmoved because of the bullies instead of protecting berries.

"i....I ran away..." He said softly, "My mom and siblings got taken by strange people...and I ran here...I found the bush and decided to stay here...my mom and I used to live near here...and..." He frowned sitting down.

Sam frowned when she heard him and nodded, "well I guess we are in the same boat. I don't know where my mom is either. But I remember that we use to live in a huge den or something. There were plenty of berries and I could explore were ever i pleased. But then... I don't remember much afterthat but I do remember running. After that I just started to wonder around." she said as she looked down and remembered her home. She missed the place terribly and wondered if mom was still there.

Flames looked at her sadly, "Sorry...I'd help you try and find your den but I have to stay here until my mom comes..." He said softly with a frown. Although he didn't want to be connected to another pkmn in the same way he was glad that someone knew what it was like.

Sam nodded when she heard him and should of known that he would of stayed there. "I can understand that but I have one more question..." she said as she looked at him. "do you think I could stay here for the night? I need a place to stay that I know is safe." she asked as she looked at him.

Flames thought for a moment then nodded, "Yeah...that would be okay...I'm Flames by the way..." He said softly wagging his tail a bit.

Sam smiled when she heard him and her tail started to wag. "okay and I am Sam, nice to met you Flames." she said as her tail started to wag faster.

Flames barked happily, "Nice to meet you Sam!" He said his tail wagging quickly, "Hey have you ever had a battle before?"

Sam smiled and her tail wagged happily. Yet at thr mention of battle it stopped and she nodded slightly, "yeah I have but I am not very good." she said and knew she was very bad and weak. The bullies around here proved it.

Flames let out a whine, "Yeah me too…" He hung his tail sadly, "Wait I know! We could train together!…Maybe…if you wanted to…" He asked a bit hopefully.

Sam was glad that she wasn't the only one who was weak but when he offered to train together she thought for a second. Then her tail started to wag and she nodded, "I would love to." she said as she smiled at him.

Flames barked happily cumin around a bit his tai wagging, "Yay! It'll be fun!"
