[yes] Yep, I'm super down! I already have my character together, too. I probably won't be able to talk too much about it tonight. We just got back from dinner, I've had a few (like five) martinis, it's just a bad night for thinking, that's all. [sweat] Are you on often?
|
Sounds like a fun night. o.o
I'm on often-ish. A few times a week when I can manage. Work keeps me pretty busy, but I do my best to reply to folks whenever I'm not too exhausted / don't have too much to do when I get home. Hope that's alright. |
That sounds fine to me. :)
Yes it's been fun-ish. I never drink so it was nice to let loose a little. Do you have characters in mind already? |
I've got a few ideas. Nothing super concrete yet, but I should have a better feel for the two of them tomorrow. I should also be able to tailor them a bit depending on your character (her personality, appearance, likes, dislikes, etc might help me come up with a concrete idea of why she gets spared to begin with and what draws the two to her afterward).
|
Well I already have two different versions of her. But I think this is probably best suited for the dream I had. She can also be tailored on basically anything except appearance. I threw her together for a one on one with a different story-line so it doesn't have to be exactly the same Marin.
|
She seems pretty nifty. I've started to get the boys fleshed out a bit, should be able to send some concepts your way come the end of the weekend (sorry about the wait, I tend to have more free time around the weekends).
|
No worries! My schedule is incredibly random, so whenever! [lol]

Poppy's looking again. Two cravings!
|
*bites lip and rolls around* I kinda want to do your first craving, but I dunnooo. I'm not sure if I have the time to commit. I've never rped with you though.
|
Well to be completely honest I started both of these plays on another site today. I'm down for doing them more, but I'm also definitely looking for a very committed long term partner. I also post in lots of paragraphs, at least 6+ with around 7 sentences each, minimum. I find that I need to remind people of that because it scares a lot of people away. If you aren't up for writing a legit novel with me for the long term, I'd rather not start one and be let down, lol. Let me tell you, I am ddaaammmn tired of being let down. I ain't got time fo dat.
|
omg, you sounded like one of my coworkers there for a bit. lol. He says that all the time. Long term is never an issue for me. I've stuck with rps for years. It's not like I don't write novels in my spare time and had no issue being literate, but I actually don't like to deal with more than three paragraphs at once. Different pacing I guess. So I dunno. I love the ideas you have though.
|
Hi, the name's Xavi. I write novels when I post, which is sporadic and lacking any sort of scheduled time. I also prefer to be the male character, as I love delving into the mind of man and seeing just how he'll tick and react. Sometimes he's flamboyant and other times cold and reserved, both of which are dependent on personality and situation.
Oh, silly introduction aside, you know that I loooove my dark fantasy stories. And you also know I'm a sucker for mystery and crime roleplays. That being said, I love both ideas equally so I guess that makes it hard for me to chose which I like Vetter. Since you have a pretty good of who I am, and assuming you're interested, I'll let you decide which story would better suit us. Xavi out ;) |
I understand Kat and no worries! I'm definitely not the partner for you if you don't like more than three paragraphs. ^^
Xav, I'm super down if you want to do the second idea. [yes] I just picked up the first story on two other sites, and don't think I could handle a third of the same one. I'd just get confused, lol. Have you ever seen Mystery Incorporated? Just out of curiosity. It's just a much darker version of Scooby Doo with real monsters. Fred's traps always work and they all had actual relationships and character development. That's the gist of it. I like the mystery solving gang idea, in a dark setting, with real character development. They can be the original mystery gang, or just similar OC's, I don't care either way. :) |
Can't say I have! I mean, I've watched the Cartoon Network Scooby Doo stuff but I don't think I've seen any of the movies. I'm more of a CSI, NCIS, Mentalist, Castle, Blue Bloods... yeah, I love my crime dramas. xD
Did you want to make it with "normal" humans? Or we would looking to have supernatural creatures solve cases? |
It's actually a new version of Scooby Doo. It's super dark and not really for younger kids. If you were forced to watch it, I bet you'd like it. [yes] I feel like maybe both humans and supernatural creatures? It would be so much more interesting that way. And OMG one or two of our characters should totally be harboring secrets that they're supernatural, too. [eager]

Yes, yes! Love this idea. xD It more or less reminds me of idea one combined in the idea two setting.
