" Is everything right officer?" He hoped he wasn't in trouble or anything .

"Everything is fine, Taylor," the guard said as he handed Taylor back his Bishidex. "However, the chief wanted to see you, something about the kidnappings from earlier. Other than that, don't cause any trouble and we won't have to come looking for you," he said with a neutral, yet bored, voice.

" I won't cause any trouble I promise . I'll contact the chief once I get settled ." He waved and went catch up with Alex.

The guard nodded, Having a feeling that he could trust the boy. He let Taylor pass by and went back to his duty.

Alex waited patiently for Taylor, keeping an eye out for anyone who was going to call him out on having two chibi-level bishis.

" Sorry if I took too long. Is everything okay?" Taylor asked noticing that something was bothering Alex.

"Everything is fine, but I just have that feeling something bad is going to happen. I'll explain more away from any unwanted listeners." Alex said

Taylor nodded. He understood that there might be those that would want to listen in .

Alex was glad that he understood what he was trying to say before starting to walk again. "Why don't we go to the police headquarters first? I think that's more important than finding a place to sleep for the night." Information was power after all.

"Sounds good to me. The more the police know the better." Taylor said .

Alex nodded as they headed towards the police station.

They arrived at the station and Taylor said that he had some information to give the chief. " He'll be right with you both soon." The officer said to Taylor and Alex.

Alex took a seat and played with an empty bishiball, throwing it up in the air and then catching it. He did this repeatedly as he waited.

" The chief will see you two now. ". The officer told the two.
Taylor got up from the chair and went inside, hoping Alex would follow.

Alex caught the Bishiball for the last time before clipping it back onto his belt as he followed Taylor.

" Hello gentlemen. Has anything strange happened in the last few days? " The Chief asked.

" Yes sir , it has. I was at Orientation a few days ago and half the traniers went missing . "Taylor said. He would let Alex tell what happened to Angelus.

Once Taylor finished telling about Orientation, Alex told the officer about his dragon, Angelus, and how she was attacked by a black dragon. He explained the history behind Angelus and the significance of the Black Dragon as well. Alex knew that is was only a hypothesis, but his gut was telling him that it wasn't any other type of dragon.

" Sounds interesting. It sounds like another attack that happened recently . We're still not sure if the attacks on trainers are connected with the kidnappings. But if either of you see anything suspicious, please let the nearest station know. " The Chief said to both of them.

"Another attack?" Alex asked, repeating what the Chief just said. He was curious now.

" Yes there was. It was on a trainer in the next town over and they said they saw a black dragon. We dont know much else about the attack really. It happened yesterday afternoon."The Chief said.

"Which bishi did the trainer have that was attacked, out of curiosity," Alex asked, his other bishi also curious about it.

" I don't have all the details unfortunately . It could have been one from the Max Ride series. But it seem seems flying Bishies are being targeted."

"I wonder why flying Bishies are being targeted..." Alex thought to himself aloud. "Is the trainer still here? Maybe if I talk to him or her I can figure out what's going on, or something." He said out of curiosity.

"Carly Richards is the name of the trainer . Here is the name of the hotel she is staying at. I think she would talk to you ." The Chief said.

"Thanks." Alex said as he took the piece of paper that had the hotel's location on it. He would check into this Carly Richards person as soon as they left the headquarters.

" Thank you both for stopping by. You both be careful and keep an eye out for anything strange."

" We will ." Taylor said. He didn't like the fact that someone else had been attacked too.
