Eve slept fitfully and had nightmares about going back to the lab. She sat in bed for a while and went back to sleep, not wanting to dream.

Alex decided to let the two sleep peacefully after taking his picture and got an extra blanket and pillow out, hoping that the couch was still free. Seeing that it was, he laid down and slowly fell asleep.

Eve woke up the next morning and just laid in bed. She didn't hear anyone else and didn't want to wake them.

Jean woke up early, most notably from habit. Seeing that no one else was awake yet, she slowly made her way around the safe house. As her eyes got adjusted to the light, she checked on the security cameras after making sure that everyone else was still asleep.

Eve read a little bit of a book she had brought with her. She didn't want to go back to sleep, in fear she would have nightmares again.

Jean saw a small light on in one of the rooms and was curious as to who was up. Making her way to the door, she knocked softly on the door.

Eve was startled at the knock and went to answer it. "Hello Jean. " She said.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to see who was up at this hour," Jean said, knowing that it would still be a few hours before everyone else woke up. "If you don't mind me asking..." she started to say, not wanting to invade the woman's privacy too much.

" Just having trouble sleeping." Eve said.

"it's about going back, isn't it?" Jean asked softly.

Eve nodded. " I'm afraid they will do terrible things to me. " She said with a hint of fear in her voice.

Jean hugged Eve lightly after she heard the fear in her voice. "It will be okay. I know Ark won't let anything happen if he can help it," the Bishie said to Eve.

" Thank you. " Eve said. She was glad that Jean had asked how she was. " I want to things to finally be normal. " Eve said.

"things will never be just 'normal' Eve. Especially not if you decide to hang around with us," she responded.

" I guess you are right. Though anything is better than what my life was before I met you guys. " Eve said with a small smile.

"Oh?" Jean asked out of curiosity. She wouldn't tell anyone about it if Eve decided to tell her, but wouldn't press her for the information.

" My life before I got a job at the lab was pretty normal, but when I got the job , it soon changed. I wasn't treated like I was a person, more like a number and felt expendable. " Eve said in a low voice.

Jean nodded, knowing how that had felt, especially with how her childhood, or lack of one, was. "I understand how you feel," she said softly.

"Thank you so much Jean." Eve said and gave the other female a hug. Eve wasn't feeling so scared as she had before.

"no problem Eve," Jean responded as she returned the hug and was glad to have helped. Hearing movement inside the area, she wondered who else was up.

Simon woke up and got ready for the day. He wanted to walk around the yard just to get some fresh air and didn't want to go crazy if he didn't .

Alex slowly woke up on the couch with a small smile on his face as he remembered the small prank he played on both Yugito and Rikku. After that was done, he would have to brainstorm with everyone on how to keep Eve safe from the scientists.

Taylor woke up and stretched and saw Sora was still on duty. He hoped they wouldn't need to be here much longer.

Alex stretched before getting up. After he finished that, he went to the other room in order to wake his Bishies up. A few seconds later, and a couple shouts and pillows thrown at their trainer later, all of Alex's Bishies were up.

Eve was in the kitchen getting breakfast ready and hoped things were alright. She hated feeling so afraid.
