"Maybe," Salem replied, though he knew that whatever the God of Dreams thought was punishment for him, he would accept it without any question, especially after everything that has happened since he joined Alex.

"Maybe, but I bet she doesn't want to add to your problems as well, when she can probably take care of things herself," Max replied. So far, the dreams hadn't caused any physical pain, and knew that Deanna wouldn't get hurt from Morpheus, or any of the other gods.

" I better go. I want to get some sleep. It will be good to get some relief from the nightmares. " Eve said.

Carly nodded. " I just hope she tells me. We both want to finally have some closure after all these years. " Carly said.

"Go ahead and get some sleep Eve," Salem replied, knowing that she would want to get some sleep, especially since she had a small break from the nightmares. He wondered what would happen to him and sighed lightly.

"You may have to ask her to tell you Carly," Max said, knowing how much the issue with her mother bothered her.

" See you in the morning Salem. " Eve said and went off to get some much needed rest.

" I will. But I'll wait a couple of days. I feel Dea is going to find out soon. " Carly said.

"Alright," Max said, yawning lightly. She hoped that they could help Eve find a Bishie so that Morpheus wouldn't punish her with more nightmares. Plus the fact that she could stretch her wings would help as well, especially since it had been a while since she had last flown.

"Night Eve," Salem said before the woman left his room. Yawning lightly and hoping for the best, Salem got into bed and soon after, fell asleep.

" We better get to bed. It's our turn to do breakfast. " Carly said as she got ready for bed.

Eve fell asleep quickly and dreamed of being a trainer. She hoped she would be able to befriend one soon.

Deanna had said goodnight to Thalia and had quickly fallen asleep. She was happy to find herself in the field of flowers again and promised herself she would talk to Morpheus this time.

"Yeah, you have a point," Max replied before getting ready for bed as well. She knew that it was Alex's turn to watch the monitors to make sure that no one was going to try and attack them as they slept although she wasn't sure who was taking over him for the other half of the night.

Thalia watched over Deanna as she fell asleep, glad that she and her trainer didn't have to worry about the School coming after them anymore now that they had been defeated. Although she had wished to participate in that battle, she knew that protecting Deanna was more important. She chuckled lightly as she randomly remembered how many female Bishies were grateful of Eragon for help saving them. 'I hope you find the answers you seek Dea,' Thalia thought to herself before she, too, started falling asleep.

Salem opened his eyes as he saw a field of flowers come into his vision. Having a feeling that this was the field that Eve had told him about, he headed through it as he kept his eyes forward, hoping to meet the God of Dreams before he woke up. At least this time he wouldn't be having a nightmare...or so he hoped. He had, after all, heard it was possible to die in your sleep from an overdose of fear.

" What sounds good for breakfast? We could make cinnamon rolls for everyone." Carly suggested. She knew a recipe that didn't require the dough to rise and was one that her dad had often made.

Deanna saw a man come toward her and she recognized him from the time she was here before. She felt guilty about getting scared the last time.

"It sounds like something everyone would like," Max responded. "You think I could help as well?" she asked as she finished getting ready for bed.

"Deanna Richards, you came here searching for answers about your mother, correct?" Morpheus asked once he got into hearing range of the young woman. He knew that Salem had found his way here to this field, and would deal with him after helping Deanna.

" I think you could too. I'll show you how to make it since we might need extras." Carly said with a grin.

" Correct." Deanna said. She knew she might not like the answer but it was she had wanted to know for so long.

"Alright," Max said with a small yawn. "I'm going to sleep, g'night," she said as curled up on her side of the bed, bringing her wings around her so that they wouldn't bother her friend, soon falling asleep.

(Anything in particular that you want to happen to their mother?)

( Not really.)

" Good night." Carly said and quickly fell asleep. She hoped Deanna was sleeping alright.

(Alright.)

"Your mother is still alive, although she's lost her memory of you and your sister," Morpheus said.

" She is ?" Deanna said with a smile but quickly frowned feeling sad. " Is it possible for me or my sister to find her. " She said hoping they could. She wanted their mom to remember them.

Morpheus answered yes to both questions. "Although it will be hard for both you or your sister to do it on your own," he added. "And I hope that Thalia can brave her fear of heights, for without it, you may not be able to get to her at all," he said before turning towards the male who had wandered into here. He had to admit that he was curious as to how that happened, but since he was going to punish the young man soon anyways, he felt it would be better to do so while he was here on his own free will.

Deanna woke up and felt sad. She wanted to tell Thalia about what Morpheus had told her.


Salem had see the man talking to a woman who looked similar to Carly and wondered if that was Deanna. He was ready to know what his punishment. He did want to continue to help Alex fight against the Scientists.

Turning his attention to Salem, Morpheus headed to the young man. "Salem...I am actually quite surprised to see that you were able to come here on your own. Most mortals cannot even enter this place without instantly being sent out, so I'm curious as to why you are here under your own power, especially since Evelyn told you what was going on," he said.

Thalia was sleeping softly, the first dreamless sleep that she had in a while, and had needed it. Especially since there were Bishies that were still unsure of what it would be like to be with a trainer and had asked upon Thalia for advice. As such, she didn't hear Deanna wake up.

" I want to be held accountable for my actions in the past. " Salem said.

Deanna slowly went back to sleep feeling at piece for the first time in many years. She was glad to know that her mom was alive but wondered why she had lost her memory.

"Do you now?" Morpheus asked as he walked around him, studying the male in front of him. "No 'you've got the wrong person' or any of that other crap?" He asked. Seeing Salem nod his head at his question, Morpheus adapted a thinking pose. "Well then...perhaps I could be a little generous in your case, as I was with your girlfriend," he thought to himself for a few more seconds.

Salem blushed a bit since he did have a crush on Eve. He just hadn't told her yet, not wanting to be rejected.

Morpheus smirked lightly as he saw Salem blush lightly at the mention of Evelyn. "Perhaps I should get Aprhodite here, I'm sure she could do all sorts of things with your love life..." he mused.

Salem blushed deeper. " I know I should tell Eve how I feel but don't want to be rejected like I have in the past. I have a feeling Eve has feelings for me, but knowing her personality , she won't say anything. " Salem said.

Morpheus' grin grew wider as Salem talked as an idea came into his head. He'd have to limit Aphrodite to not screw around with their love life for to long or to hard...

Salem wondered what his punishment would be, and hoped it wasn't removing his feelings for Eve. He didn't want to be alone anymore.

The God of Dreams saw Salem scowling lightly, most likely coming to the conclusion that he was going to mess with the young man's feelings for Eve. "Salem," he said with authority, causing the human to look at him. "I do believe that I have decided on your punishment. First though, I have a question: Do you know the story about the mermaid who fell in love with a human?"
