Eve smiled and headed toward the kitchen. " First I need to bring Carly and Max some lunch. I know she wants taco soup and so does Max. " Eve said and got the soup ready.

"Can I watch?" Kirito asked. While Asuna-chan was alive, he used to help her in the kitchen whenever he could.

( sorry about taking so long. Had an interview today. I have a good feeling that it went well. :) )

" Sure you can. Would you like to help? I can show you what to put on the soup. " Eve said as she put some of the leftover soup in bowls and put them in the microwave to re heat.

"I would like to help," Kirito said, even if this did remind him of the times he had with Asuna. Although it did feel good helping his trainer.

Eve smiled and got the toppings out. " I'll tell you which toppings Carly and Max like on thier soup,and then we can take it to them. Would you like this soup for lunch? I made cinnamon rolls and there were none left by the end of the day. " Eve said as she carefully took the hot bowls out of the microwave.

( I hope it did to.if it did I'll get a call for a second interview. )

"Your cinnamon rolls must have been good then," Kirito said after agreeing to have the soup for lunch.

" They are. I'll make you some sometime. I just hope it's soon. " Eve said.

"I can wait," he said as she was getting the toppings out for Carly and Max. Although he was glad at the sentiment, he shook his head lightly, getting those morbid thoughts out of his head. Even though he knew that Asuna would have most likely enjoyed Eve's company, he knew that it was now impossible for that to happen.

" You okay?" Eve asked feeling concerned about Kirito. He seemed to be distracted all of a sudden.

"Sorry, you reminded me of Asuna-chan for a moment there," Kirito said lightly.

" Oh. You must miss her a lot. " Eve said hoping to help Kirito feel better.

"I do miss her...a lot," Kirito admitted.

" It will be alright. If you need to talk just ask. " Eve said and gave Kirito a kind smile.

"I'll remember that Eve-chan. Thank you," Kirito responded. "Um...weren't we about to give these to Max and Carly?" He then asked, indicating the bowls of soup.

"Yep we were. " Eve said and went toward the security room. She knocked on the door quickly so she didn't drop the bowl.

Max heard the knock on the door and went to answer it, glad to see that it was Eve and her new Bishie, Kirito if she remembered correctly, with their lunch.

" Sorry if we took too long , but here we are. " Eve said with a smile.

"Not long at all Eve. Carly and I were just starting to get hungry actually," Max said as she took one of the bowls, thanking her for bringing them.

Eve smiled and brought in the other bowl." Glad I was right on time then." She said.

"Glad indeed," Max said in agreement as Carly took her bowl from Eve, thanking her as well.

" Let me know if you guys need anything else. I think Micheal is taking over in a couple of hours." Eve said before saying goodbye.

Carly nodded, having heard that Michael was taking the next shift. "I think we're good for right now, thanks though," she responded.

" Okay. " Eve said and waved goodbye. She then went back to the kitchen to get lunch ready for both Kirito and herself.

Kirito followed Eve back into the kitchen.

What would you like on your soup?" Eve asked as she put the bowls in the microwave. She hoped he liked this soup.
